Company may be under investigation

Random Games Limited has had its Class 1 on 4 remote gaming license suspended and is reportedly under investigation by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) for unspecified reasons.
The company has been ordered to indefinitely suspend all gaming operations, cease new player registrations, suspend all transactions on all websites (including deposits and withdrawals), and submit data and documentation requested by the Authority.
In addition, the MGA advised Random Games Limited websites, or associates, which make reference to the authority or the suspended MGA license MGA/CL1/6702010 are not approved to be operational.
Players are urged to contact the MGA at support.mga@mga.org.mt regarding outstanding payments due to them on the mentioned license with the following information:
Name and Surname;
Registered Address;
Date of Birth;
Copy of Passport or ID Card;
Telephone Number;
Description of Product i.e. casino or sportsbook;
User Name;
and Screenshot of Balance or any pending Cash Outs (if not available an estimated balance is to be submitted).
The Authority notifies that no further information shall be released at this stage in order not to compromise any investigations that may need to be performed by the Authority and/or any other competent authority and furthermore fails to identify affected websites, platforms or operators.
Random Games Limited had not yet responded to a request for comment at the time of publishing.

Brian Cullingworth

Infopowa news was a staple of Casinomeister’s news from 2000 until 2019. Brian Cullingworth was the main writer, contributor, and was one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever known involved in the online casino industry.

We first met in January 2001 at the ICE in London where I observed him going booth to booth interviewing online casino, software, and licensing jurisdiction representatives. Brian was also heavily involved with our forum as “Jetset“, he was involved as an informal consultant to eCOGRA, the OPA, and was a player advocate who assisted countless aggrieved players with his connections to industry folks. He also published “Casino Cautions” via Infopowa news for quite a number of years. These can be found in our news archives.

His passing in February 2019 was a dark day for us. He will be forever missed.
