Same with mine. He doesn't mind being brushed but is terrified of bath's that's why I take him to a groomer. He even hops over puddles and hates the rain. We'd be lost without them our furbabies.

lol. My guy took a pee on my shoe when I was asleep last week because another dog licked it. Saucy devil. Lucky the shoes were washable. He sits at the window and barks at the dogs going by except for one Maltese one that he adores. When she passes by he brings his toy to the window. This is a grand gesture because that is his toy and he shares it with nobody. I suffer from depression so having him helps so much by making me laugh with his antics and of course companionship.

Someone in my neighbourhood has one of these. He is so cute and very, very energetic. Lovely breed. But then again all dogs are cute, even the hairless ones.

Sorry about the depression, but having a hound will help that!!. I’ve had a bad last year and my beast was immense, sounds silly but when I felt down it was like she did to, she would snuggle in or slobber me to death.
Just that little moment of affection meant the world to me.
As I write this she’s next to me curled into A ball snoring lol.

They do help. Snuggle next to you to make you feel better. I love dogs. Guess that is why I was extra pissed when John didn't even pet Ghost goodbye last week on Game of Thrones. No self-respecting dog owner would do that.

he is such a little shit and I love him and has his little quirk 
to anyone not knows, brought the cat home after finding him outside in the snow at a day or 2 old, approx 6 yrs ago
the dog raised him and still besties
still climbs into his bed for warmth and cuddles
the dog grumbles and growls - might even bare teeth - but wouldnt do boo about it lol
anyway...cat's little fetish is, only content, if his paw in some form, touches the dog

Sadly, Tardar Sauce passed away in May this year, so no more Grumpy Cat. I loved some of his sayings, e.g. "I had fun once. It was horrible!"

Here are my fur babies, my dog Benji is a rescue dog, he went from the shelter to king of the castle over night. He just loves to have his picture taken. My cat found us almost 15 years ago, someone dropped him off on our road when he was about 6 weeks old. His name is Spiderman, because his paws look like they have webs between his claws. They are both spoiled rotten, and I wouldn't have any other way!

It took them a bit to get use to each other, but now they are partners in crime! They are like so sweet and laid back when I come home from going out until I walk upstairs and see all the beds are a mess and the garbage pails tipped over. When I call for them they ignore me when I come down stairs they are relaxed on the couch like nothing ever happen. Now I know they were playing chase, the upstairs proves it, as my hubby says, they are exhausted from playing chase lol.

Decided to scratch up my brothers floor a bit, so i took help of his dog.
A mix between hellspawn and dog.
She makes interesting noises when playing.
Shes super well-behaved tho as you can see when i ask her to let go&sit.
But also a monster.

She is adorable, but crikey, she is loud. And growly! Enough to put the fear of god into me.
As an aside, I didn't think polished wooden floors were that good for dogs (and cats as well) as they can lose their balance and slip and slide all over the place?

The breed is called "Västgötaspets" best translation i could find was "Swedish vallhund".
Its a herding dog/sheperds dog that the vikings used for sheep&cows.
Now it just herds around the people around her.

Yeah, the floor where i played with her is pretty slippery.
Not all rooms have that kind of floor tho, so its no worries.
We mostly play outside anyways. =)
And yes, she is loud when she plays.
You can maybe see that she follows me around with the knot when i back away.
She will kind of knock into your legs while growling until you start playing with her, or tell her to stop.
Shes a real sweetheart.
