Is there a battle weekend?

I don't know my calculation form says that battle weekend should be in next week but for some reason it is already in this week.
This year battles have been every time in weekend after 25th. So if 25th is friday battle weekend is 26th - 27th. If 25th is saturday battle weekend will be in next week. Now an exception has made and i'm totally confused.

25th is Saturday this month. but next month the last Saturday is the 30th, so there will be most likely a 5 week wait for the next one.

I was CONVINCED the way the date fell they would run it 2/3 Oct and again 30/31 Oct as this or similar has happened before.

I would have totally missed it or at least the first few hours as with the pot dry would be no reason to log in.

Then again the VS battle whinging thread would have made an appearance about 12.01am to remind me

But like you say you would soon have known as forum will go into meltdown if 10 man battles disappear for a minute.

Not caring tho as about 700 xp short.

Would probably have qualified if VS had not advised to not deposit for a couple of weeks earlier in month when they were having problems with Neteller deposits and advised better not to deposit till problem is sorted. So as that was at point of month after payday when i wanted to deposit xp ran down. Such is life lol.

Its probably to deter people who could get theoretically get 2500xp on 2nd and 3rd to also qualify for the 30/31st.

Then again... it'll be 28 days between next months battle weekend and the one after.

Well, sad to say I'm finally going to cut right down on my VS deposits. When even I'm getting fed up of the low RTPs and the gradual removal of half decent rewards/battles, then you know there's an issue!

Main issue is the total lack of play time after a deposit. If I hadn't got ultra lucky on one spin of Chilli Heat Megaways, this would've been the worst month I've had in 3 years of solid daily deposits, and with next to no extra bonuses or anything, it's got me looking elsewhere.

A shame, as it was by far my favourite place to play!

Playtimes never been great at VS tbh for me: put 50 in, play a 96%, and getting 150XP points is a regular occurrence.

Suppose depends what you like: if you're lucky to find a place that will fire you depo offers then i prefer that, even with wagering and a cashout 1/10: more about playtime atm for me.

The watering down of the rewards is palpable - red wheels of 50FS @10p compared to few years ago and frequent upgrades to the other wheels etc

Says more about the perks of other casino's that folk still prefer to play there

Noticed myself even chucking/giving up on the battle nights 60/90mins in and going to make a deposit elsewhere as simply can't be arsed.

Yeah agreed, especially the last 5 words of your post.

Slots seem to be stuck in "graveyard mode" for a long time now and like you I am getting no value or play time for my deposits each and every time.

I have already hit my loss limit twice this year, something I've never done since registering until 2021. Granted it is a low limit and causes no hardship for me but it clearly shows to me the main cause of this is the RTP drop.

Rewards and wheels are awful of late too, I usually played them back anyway but I suppose there is a bunch of players who dive for the withdrawal button every battle night soon as they see 20 in their balances which is maybe why they chose to do this.

Can you have a look at a couple of realistic games, 6 appeal deluxe and super graphics lucky cats, they both seem to be just hanging on the SG loading screen, tried the usual clearing cookies etc. tried edge and chrome and two different devises. Been like it a couple of days as they not main stream games maybe they broke and no ones reported it, or is it just me?

When they got rid of the usual Blue wheel for 4 wins in a row, it also removed the extra playtime that you can sometimes get with a lucky extra reward. The Blue's are definitely not "random" now.

As you say, they get played back. Got my first Blue in ages yesterday for 5,000 wins on a slot. And yep, a 1 Euro Battle ticket...

I always thought VS was more for us low rollers - I get a nosebleed when I roll more than 40p - but when there's no playtime on low rolling, you tend to want to look elsewhere.

Plus if you win any freespins in Battles, you can guarantee they'll be on a low RTP slot, and very lucky if you win anything that's worth 3 or 4 hours of your time grinding freespins out.

Defo mate, bin that crappy clash of spins and run an extra battle night, even if it is low RTP games

Blue wheels were "awesome" for low rollers and NOT just digging out the 4 wins in a row ones either, actually building them up thru regular play / loyalty and once you had 4-5 you'd maybe make a tenner which would give an hour or so extra playtime.

Talking about the wheels which had £1 / £3 / £5 cash prizes as well as 10/15/30 spins where it would actually land on them and not just 10p spins or bloody useless battle tickets which we see all too often these days.

I am no expert but I'm sure this cutback or whatever they want to call it hasn't saved that much really, penny pinching if I'm honest.
