Resolved Videoslots closed my account with no reason given

So after playing there for 9 years, Videoslots have suddenly decided to close my account with absolutely no reason given :mad:

They started harassing me about "responsible gambling" in January - bombarding me with e-mails and phone calls. But nothing I could say or show them could convince them that I do NOT have any sort of gambling problem.

A few weeks ago they locked my account - so I sent them a copy of my bank statement showing a very healthy balance.
But heard nothing back until today:

That doesn't make any sense at all. You have beat the odds by being in profit. You would have thought the casino would encourage you to continue playing there so that you spunk it all away because at the end of the day, the casino always wins
 
It's patently nowt to do with Responsible Gambling, simply the casino ridding itself of a problematic player - i.e one that's in the black!

Mind you, I'd imagine they'd just as likely have closed the account if KK's bank statements were ropey as hell.

Easier to wash their hands and sunder the arrangement. With discretion all but gone, the only losers out of this scenario are VS, and I'd imagine if asked, he wouldn't even want to come back!

I mean, realistically speaking, in all the years I've seen Kasinoking's gambling habits on CM, he'd always look assured and in complete control. The guy's balances always look sickeningly magnolious, the flash git :p

I agree absolutely with your post regarding players being in the black.

Many players - and I have done this myself many times - play back sizeable wins, in the hope of winning even more. We are the type of player casinos love, and want to keep, as we are the source of their massive profits.

Players such as KK are not wanted, simply because they have the self-control to resist the temptation to chase wins...or losses. And are happy once their limit is reached to cash out.

I wouldn’t be concerned about losing an account at VS at all, as has been mentioned elsewhere in the thread, why on earth play there anyway when slots are available elsewhere on better RTP?? Keep playing at these places and it’ll just keep getting worse!! They reduced RTP in the most underhand way (not even a fucking email). Madness to give them a coin.

It’s a blessing not a concern.

How do you play random games with a generous house edge for nearly a decade and end up with an RTP north of 100%?

Is the spin sample decently large?

They should have restricted you to only playing Wild Ape for a few weeks to “recalibrate” your position.

To paraphrase "it was due to an overzealous implementation of the draconian UKGC guidelines".
I might have guessed it was something to do with them!

They have offered to re-open my account if I answer a few more personal questions.
Either way, there are no hard feelings on my part and I really appreciate the contact that was made.
So I have now marked this thread as "resolved".
