@Unibet Rep

Hi everyone, as I'm sure we're all aware the UKGC are currently heading UK players down the path of making online slots effectively unplayable with the removal of autoplay, due to happen this October.

As I live on the Isle of Man I don't live in the UK, but it's a bit of a lottery as to which version of a slot I get depending on casino/provider. At some sites for example I get the international version of NetEnt slots (1000 autoplay spins, no mandatory loss limit), at other sites I might get the UK version. (100 spins max, mandatory loss limit.)

Unibet are one of my preferred casinos as they're still running all the top RTPs, but I always get sent to the .co.uk site, even if I log into the .com site, so I always get the UK versions of slots at Unibet, irrespective of provider.

As far as I can see, I should be able to register and play at the .com version of Unibet, as I genuinely don't live in the UK so I'm not trying to 'get around' anything.

Is there anything I can do to 'home' my account to the .com site, or register a new account at the .com site?

Hoping the Unibet rep can help, it's the sort of question I wouldn't even try to ask live casino support about, can you imagine the carnage?

For example here is what Twin Spin looks like at 21Casino when logged in with my account. (One of the other few remaining casinos that has all the top RTPs.)

And here's what it looks like at Unibet when logged in with my account.

Unibet is reviewed at Casinomeister. It is an CM Accredited, vetted, and highly recommend casino listed at our site.
We are all one big family :) you should be able to create a .com account since we do have Isle of Man in the drop down menu. You will most likely hit a few snags because of your existing account so you will eventually have to get in touch with our CS. You can refer them to this thread and tell them to contact us in the casino team if you run into too much trouble. In theory it should go smooth but I know that multi accounting gets flagged so you do have to ask CS to deactivate your UK account when you create your new one.

Thanks Dave, apologies if I'm being thick here but going to unibet.com/registration isn't really helping. IOM isn't listed as a country and if I select UK that of course immediately just fires me off to the co.uk site. I tried going through a few screens to see if I could find an IOM option but no dice.

Basically, nothing on this registration screen is correct for me, as I don't live in any of these countries :)

Scroll to bottom and it should give you the option of “Other” and choose by language.

Thanks folks that worked fine and I am now logged in on the .com site with all the goodies, such as full autoplay and the 98% slots selection :)

I didn't take the SUB as this is technically a duplicate account and I want to avoid any potential hassles there. Should I contact CS and ask them to close my co.uk account before I deposit and start play?

Thanks.

Great news. I would recommend you ask for the original account to be closed and for them to disable your email address on that account so it doesn't pick it up as a duplicate. Happy dotcomming!

Thanks Mark.

Despite my best efforts I couldn't find a live support chat link on the Unibet.co.uk site, (everything just seemed to go to a 'help' page or a 'community' page), there was a working live chat link on the 'Reverse Withdrawals' page so I clicked on that and found myself in a live chat with a slightly bemused rep from Unibet Australia (you might want to take a look at that link on the co.uk site......).

So in the end I just used the 'Close Account' feature from within the account section on the co.uk site, and indeed when I try to log in at Unibet.co.uk now I get a message saying I have closed my account, which is what I want.

My new account at Unibet.com continues to work fine.

So hopefully I'm covered now in terms of duplicate accounts, insofar as my account at .co.uk is closed, and I have yet to make a deposit at the .com site, which is the Unibet site I will play at going forward.

My thanks to you and Dave for your swift response and advice :)

I had a Stan James account , fairly sure it was bought out by unibet a few years ago , but would be a dormant account .

How would I go about reactivating it , , should I just open a unibet uk account , or do I have to contact customer service first ?

The SJ account would have been migrated I think Spikie, have you tried logging into Unibet?

Thanks Mark , just tried logging in , I get nothing sent to my email ( or spam) when clicking the forgot password link . I have never tried it since the Stan James days .

Wow you actually fo exist!!!!! Do you consider a 15 years loyal player that wagers 25k a month for a response if I send you a pm? Because the last 2 unibet reps never answered me for technical problems, bonus questions or anything really. I had a ticket opened for months regarding bingo loyalty wheel that was glitched to death going backwards everytime it reached 99% I was told numerous times that it was in my head... even with screenshots to prove exactly what I was saying. And last week, after Many months waiting...the loyalty wheel had an update from relax gaming and it changed version and payouts. Oh yeah, I also asked for Any kind of reward whatsoever since the only bonuses I am offered are $ are wagering on evolution live games... which are geo locked in canada. LOL. Tried explaining that to support but you know... We all have selective memories of logical capacity that differs from given situations. Especially if its associated with a cost for unibet :)
*** I am not complaining here by the way. Even after all this bad treatment and no reward for years or almost... still the best casino by a landslide. High rtp, no lag, nice poker software, automated withdrawls, no hassle for payments ever. Thats pretty rare if you ask me. Just happy to meet a rep from unibet... I will message you my unibet username. Maybe I can leave @Mark_32Red alone with my unibet problems now.

Any possibility of bringing the 'super casino' to the UK market?

I appreciate now may not be a good time to do anything in the UK but just wondered if it had been considered?

Your already the best casino for UK players by a mile so not sure what you would gain apart from cementing your position but hey, you dont ask, you dont get :)

Edit: Once a day access on my birthday would be special ;)

@bamberfishcake unfortunately we won't be launching the supercasino in the UK for commercial reasons. But we still offer the highest RTP's anyway on all our slots regardless. Just not the 98 % ones.
@hhhelllo I got your private msg and will respond accordingly
