Hello,
This is my first post, and per the rules: I cannot find a casino representative. I looked at the list, and RICH PALMS CASINO is not listed.

After filling out withdrawal papers, I made my 1st withdrawal of $360.00 from RICH PALMS CASINO. My withdrawal preference was to my bank. I was told by their Finance Department the Bank Wire Transfer was under maintenance, so they would send my withdrawal to my Bitcoin wallet.

They wanted my BTC Bitcon Wallet hash/ID. I told them I was a newbie to Bitcoin and was clueless about what they wanted. The Finance Dept. emailed back and said, this is the number you gave us. It was a string of numbers & letters. I did not give them any numbers, and have all of the original emails from the casino and me proving I did not email that Hash/ID.

Long story short: It was the wrong hash/ID; therefore, the money did NOT reach my BTC Wallet. My BTC Wallet is Coinbase, and after several emails from them, I found the correct Hash/Id, and sent it to Rich Palms, but they will not withdraw the original and deposit to the correct address. I am out of $360.00. I tried to contact their Gaming License, but found out, they do not have one.

Any and all help would certainly be appreciated. I have all email correspondence, plus screen shots of my account proving the money never arrived; therefore, if you need them, please let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

TBH I truly do play at very few casinos and don't see it listed at a glance, be that accredited, grey or rogue. I'm fairly sure, any savvy members as able, can reply.

In the interim, you can always view the PAB system here at Casinomeister and see if it is something available to you >

Sounds to me like they've done what you asked, and sent it to the hash you gave. The problem as I understand it is there are no checks with bitcoin - once the money is gone, it's gone. The recipient may choose to send it back I suppose, but they don't have to. So you're ultimately requesting the casino pay out twice - once to whoever's details you gave, and again to yourself.

They won't have to do that, so I'd be playing on you making clear to them that you didn't really know what you were doing. But I would also be prepared to have lost the money.

He said he didn't give them any numbers?

well yes, i think thats his point, they sent it to someone else :)

And this is it - either they just randomly chose an account to send it to (which seems unlikely!), or an incorrect number was supplied to them by someone.

Bitcoin. Pseudocurrency with few protections. Yuck!

Well human error happens and if the OP genuinely didn't send a wallet address to them, then obviously they should pay him, their mistake. If however, he did supply the address then he shouldn't get paid again.

...

Sorry to hear of your woes. Bitcoin is full of possible pitfalls and errors one can make. Believe me - been there, done that.

Since you are in the States, unless you are in a state that has properly licensed online casinos - like New Jersey, you have no protection. But saying this, this looks like a possible error on your part giving them the wrong BTC code string. Once it is gone, it's gone.

So using BTC, one must use caution - there is an article here about this: Cryptocurrency Online Gambling Guide - Casinomeister

Thanks for joining our forum. I'm sorry what prompted joining was from a bad experience, but hang in there (here) and you will become a better more savvy gambler.

This is very strange - what was the Btc address they had, and where did they get it from, if not from you?
I have never heard of a case like this before!

I have worked with this group since 2008, and although they had new owners about 14 months ago, I do have contacts there I can ask for help if you can't resolve this yourself.

Welcome to the forum!

Hello, thank you for your reply. I did not provide the casino with that hash/ID. They are the ones who sent it to me in an email.

Hello,
Thank your for your reply. I never gave them anything, and have no clue from where they came. Below is a copy/paste of the email exchange about it. I have removed the name for privacy.

Dear ___________

Hope you are doing great!
This is _______ _______, the Finance Department representative with Rich Palms Casino.
Since the "Wire Transfer" payment solution is under maintenance at the moment, we would kindly ask you to confirm your current BTC wallet, so that we can distribute the funds there.
We rely on your understanding and looking forward for your response!

Best regards,

Hello __________,
Thank you for your email. I'm new to Bitcoin and Coinbase. What is a BTC Wallet? My Bitcoin account is with Coinbase, but I know very little to nothing about Bitcoins. Can you tell me exactly what you want so I can try to find it. My Coinbase account email is different from this one.
Regards,
___________ ___________

Dear _________
Thank you for your response.
Please be kindly advised that a Bitcoin address, or simply address, is an identifier of 26-35 alphanumeric characters, beginning with the number 1 or 3 that represents a possible destination for a bitcoin payment.
The address you have provided us previously is 1AWFZhxpQGMmSv9KQjRHi1j4bdhPkhh5Qs.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,

I never gave them those numbers, and have no idea where they came from unless it was the copy/paste address I used to make the deposit, but I never gave those numbers to anyone other than Coinbase. Whenever I made the deposit there was a string of letters/numbers that I had to copy and paste into my Coinbase account in order for Coinbase to pay the casino.
Since that time, I have contacted Coinbase and got my correct address and sent it to the Finance Department. I also asked Coinbase to try to locate where the money went, and they said it would take some time to do so.
Thank you.

Did you reply to their email telling them that wasn't your hash so to not send it? It was sent 3 days after their emails.
No, I didn't. I feel really stupid because I told them evidently that must be the right numbers/letters if that's what they had. Actually, I didn't even know how to receive money via Coinbase. I figured since they had my name and email address that would be what was used to receive the money.

Personally, I think after I told them I was a newbie to Bitcoin and didn't even know what a hash/id was, they gave me a hash that was non-existant or belonged to them. They know I did not provide that hash, and they know they sent it to me, I have the emails to prove it, but my ignorance cost me because I agreed to it. I couldn't find a Gaming License for them; therefore, there is no to contact. At age 70, it's an expensive lesson to learn. Perhaps I need to find another entertainment during COVID. Thanks to everyone who has posted.

@TheBreeze1355 , since you've freely ignored the Player Arbitration Policies and Procedures regarding posts after your PAB is in progress I've changed the thread title until it can be determined what the casino's side of this story is.

Original title was "Rich Palms Casino will not issue my withdrawal".

I didn't realise you had submitted a PAB! :eek2: I have been trying to sort this out for you, as requested by PM.

I have had a long conversation with my rep from this group and they have supplied me with lots of info.
Basically they say they sent the withdrawal back to you on October 29 using the same Btc address that you used to make the deposit on September 15.

Now this has me REALLY confused, because I always thought Btc addresses only went one way and that you would need a new different one for your withdrawal. The casino say they often do this :what:
Maybe some more crypto-savvy members here can confirm that?

Anyway, the casino is ready and willing to sort this out with you - please double check your crypto wallet to see if the withdrawal has arrived, and if not please contact them again and they will do all they can to put this right.
