I have been gambling online for many years and I now generally stay away from casinos that do not offer instant withdrawals. But I have been registered (and verified) at Slotastic for years and occasionally I will deposit $50 via debit card for instant play whilst awaiting confirmation on a bitcoin deposit that I have made elsewhere (which can take up to 30 minutes).

Long story short, I wound up depositing at Slotastic about three weeks ago and lo and behold, I would up winning around $2,000. And I knew the stall tactics would begin in earnest because this particular type of casino is never eager to pay out winnings. Usually, they have some encumbrance tied to a bonus that they can lean on in order to restrict or limit or delay a player from withdrawing winnings. However, I never play with bonus money, and I always check to confirm that none has been added to my account surreptitiously, both (1) before I deposit and (2) after I deposit but before I start actually playing.

And such was the case on this occasion. $50 deposit made via debit card and no bonus encumbrance. So when I won several large bets on slots and found myself at $2,000, I decided to cash out and return the bitcoin casino where I usually play (as the deposit had been confirmed by them). Here is the full history of my efforts to get paid in the time since.

  1. April 5 - deposit confirmed $50
  2. April 5 - withdrawal requested ~$2,000
  3. April 5 - withdrawal request immediately reversed. No email was sent, the money was just placed back into my account, but I caught that immediately when I returned to the site later in the evening, anticipating nonsense from them. Which is exactly what I got. I opened a support chat, at which time I was informed that all withdrawals are limited to $500 per week.
  4. April 5 - okay, fine. Ridiculous, but I am not desperate for the money, so whatever. I resubmit the withdrawal for $500.
  5. April 8 - I receive the $500 to my bitcoin wallet, then proceed to wait for a week to pass since my initial request on April 5 to make my second withdrawal. I'm sure they thought I would gamble the remaining $1,500 away, but I'm not that sucker so the full balance sat on the site.
  6. April 13 - withdrawal requested $500
  7. April 14 - "During the screening of your payout request, it was noticed that your identification on file is expired. Customers are required to keep their documents up to date. Therefore, before your withdrawal can be processed, kindly send the following: Front and back of a valid government issued Photo Identification e.g. Passport, Driver's License, etc."
  8. April 16 - I didn't catch that email for a couple days because I was traveling for work, but when I did see it, I immediately sent documents to revalidate my identity. Even though I have done this several times and even though my expired license has no meaning whatsoever in the jurisdiction where they are located. And even though it didn't prevent them from sending the first $500.
  9. April 17 - They sent an email notifying me that my account was verified again, but warning me that "The account verification process is dynamic and further documents may be requested in the future or during your first withdrawal."

And now, at 6PM on April 18, over five days since I requested the second $500 installment of the $2,000 withdrawal that I should have received as a single payout, here I am, waiting to receive that second payout. Even when I receive it -- if I even receive it -- I still have another two weeks to go, minimum, until I get the money that they owe me.

This is pathetic and I will never deposit at Slotastic again. I recommend that everyone think twice about my experience before you deposit there as well. Casinos should pay their players when players win, and stop these delay tactics that are clearly designed to induce people to redeposit and lose their winnings whilst awaiting a payout.

P.S. customer support has made several statements to me suggesting an inability to pay in the first place. So your money may not be safe here regardless of what your experience has been in the past.

Do they pay out withdrawals during weekends? If not, I guess that would explain them not having sent out anything on the 18th.

Hmm, several? That's quite interesting and, if accurate, would mean @Savatage79 might finally receive the real reason as to why he keeps getting screwed over in regards to withdrawal limits.

Yes, earlier this week they said something to the effect that "management has taken the decision to limit withdrawals to $500 per week for business reasons" or some nonsense like that.

If they aren't broke, what else could it be? I think these RCG casinos are really hurting because they ALL have these ridiculous policies around withdrawals that they could at one time get away with, but now, with every player having options on where to play, most of which provide instant withdrawals ... well, would anyone bother at a place that goes out of their way to cheat and delay and stall rather than pay people what they are owed.

I'm mad at myself because in this case, I knew better and never should have deposited with these clowns to begin with.

I always check a casino via [web search] which also shows another user dealing with this kind of thing 2 years ago. Nothing to indicate they didn't get paid out eventually.

I understand its frustrating to deal with and casinos with restrictions like this rarely last several years in the market. Get your money out and move on from them imo.
