Stupid crypto gaming tips

In the crypto software there is a small section called, gaming tips that gives strategy advice for some of the games. I have noticed that not only are some of the tips incorrect (like always double on 9, 10, 11 in BJ), they also give some crazy system-like advice like:

Bet on the hand that won last (ie. if the banker hand just won, make your next bet on the banker hand); you will always bet on the hand that is streaking.

So they suggest that the hands in baccarat are dependent on the outcome in earlier hands? Cmon, arent there enough people believing in stupid systems and streakiness of random events already?

Stuff like this really irritates me. Maybe Im just overreacting, I dont know. What do you all think about this?

That BJ advice is plainly WRONG and should be removed by the casino.

The "Streak" advice is just stupid if the game is random but it doesnt cost the player actual $ unlike the BJ strategy errors.

I just had a look at William Hill and the BJ strategy is more or less ok.

Tip#1: Never split 10's

Tip#2: Always split Aces and 8's, no matter what the dealer's showing card is.

Tip#3: Double down on two card combinations totaling:
9 if the dealer's up card is 3, 4, 5 or 6.
10 if the dealer's up card is anything but a 10 or an Ace.
11 if the dealer's up card is anything but an Ace.

Tip#4: Always stand on hard 13 through 16 if the dealer's showing card is 6 or lower, but hit if the dealer's showing card is 7 through Ace.

Tip#5: Always stand on hard 12 or higher if the dealer is showing 4, 5 or 6. Hit a hard 12 if the dealer's up card is 2, 3, 7 or higher.

Tip#6: Hit until you have at least 17 against a dealer's 10.

Tip#7: Hit a soft 17 against a dealer's 10.

Tip#8: Standing on 17 and lower relies entirely on the dealer's busting to win. Since you cannot bust a soft hand with just one hit, do the following:
Hit soft 13 through 17 against a dealer's 7 or higher
Double down with two-card soft 13 through 17 against a dealer's 5 or 6. (You can only double down with your first two cards)
Double down soft 17 against a dealer's 3, 4,5, or 6.
Double down soft 15 through 17 against a dealer's 4, 5 or 6.
Most players will stand on soft 18, but you may find that in the long run you will be better off to hit a soft 18 if the dealer's up card is 9, 10 or Ace, stand on soft 18 if the dealer's up card is 2, 7 or 8, and double down if the dealer shows a 3, 4, 5 or 6.
Always stand on soft 19 or higher.

Maybe some of the cryptos have different strategy lol

I find the auto-holds on some video pokers equally as annoying. It will often auto-hold cards which are hugely the wrong play and hence increasing the house edge. A classic example is if you are dealt two deuces in deuces wild it will hold the two deuces and another card and say three of a kind.
Obviously unless something else which you should hold is there you just draw to the two deuces but I mean holding another random card for three of a kind ? Grrrrrrr.

Microgaming video poker is of course good as it automatically calculates the best play for every hand and auto holds accordingly. But some of the other ones, grrrrrr.

I can't see anything inherently wrong in the BJ strategy above attributed to Will Hill, though 'Hit a soft 17 against a dealer's 10' is a bit incomplete as you should always hit this hand, except against a dealer's 3-6 when you should double.

Maybe this is something that Will Hill have been able to change. Their casino does seemed to be more customised than the other Crypto casinos - they're the only one I know that seem to have their own cashier interface rather than using ECash Direct.
