I would like to get some clarifications on the abbreviations used to describe stuff about online casinos; example, +LV, RLP etc.

I'm new on here and already addicted to casinomeister.com. It would sure make reading a lot of posts so much easier for me.

Thanks in advance!:thumbsup:

:confused: Why are they not accredited and are there any threads I should be on the look out for explaining why?
Just because they are not accredited that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad casinos.
There are loads of OK casinos who aren't on the Meister's list IMO.

You probably wont find threads about all of them, but to get an idea why they may not be accredited, see the "Standards for Accreditation" at the top of this page: https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/

WTH?? You completely changed your whole post while I was replying! :eek2:
Please don't do that! :p

What's up KK!

Thanks man but I already found my answer by doing some research. turns out that they're all a sister company to Golden Casino, which is crap.

I changed the thread because I didn't want to upset anyone by bringing up the same topic that has been touched on already previously.

But maybe you can contribute to what the new thread is about.

Well I'm guessing here, but I assume you mean;

+EV = Positive Expected Value.
This means if you complete the wagering on a bonus on the game with the lowest house edge you are mathematically expected to make a profit.
(Obviously -EV means you are expected to make a loss)

RTP = Return To Player.
The payback percentage of the game.
e.g. A 95% RTP slot is mathematically expected to give you $95 back for every $100 you wager.
It is the opposite of house edge; A 95% RTP slots has a House Edge of 5%.

I was confused when I first read the op's initial post and then yours KK, glad it's back on the same page.

Question can and how does one determine your bolded quote above? How does a player know the lowest house edge on a game?

Thank You for that!! I get crazy whenever I see certain typos happening over and over again. Yep, that's me, the nitpicker of the English language!!

Rouge = Rogue

Their vs There

To vs Too

Your vs You're

And the list goes on and on and on!!!! :p

But you missed the biggest one: lose vs loose. Neither casinos or most players use the correct word.

Thanks Simmo! I've wondered, for a long time, what in the world are these people talking about, HA! Thanks again :thumbsup:

I think you mean "How does a player know what is the lowest house edge game?"
Some casinos/softwares state what their RTPs are (e.g. WagerWorks), but for most it's guesswork or calculation.
For slots the best resource is

For non-slot games the best resource is

More casino abbreviations.

WTH? = What the hell?
GD = God damn or Gosh darn depending on your religious sensibilities.
SOB = Son of a bitch or sombitch if you're a bit of a hillbilly.
MF = Motherf***er. Apparently derogative although I've had sex with several mothers and it really wasn't that bad.
JMFC = A more angry version of MF.
LMS = Lost my shirt. Slang term. You can't actually wager your clothes. If you could half of Casinomeister would be naked.

Abbreviations with more than one meaning.

RTG = Realtime Gaming software or Really tight game.
MG = Microgaming software or Money gone.
ND (B) = No Deposit (Bonus) or Bonus that requires a deposit later on.
Free = Something you don't have to pay for or Something you do have to pay for later on.

ND (B) = No Deposit (Bonus) or Bonus that requires a deposit later on.

I like it :D

That is worth pointing out to newbies that quite often a no deposit bonus requires a deposit prior to a withdrawal, usually for security purposes. It has been known for less scrupulous casinos to then insist it is wagered too.

Many thanks Simmo!:notworthy

There should be legend made on casinomeister.com for every new subscriber.:D

Actually, there is a glossary that I never finished. Give me a few and it should be uploaded today.

By the way, there are a number of acronyms used in this forum that are automatically underlined - and when you mouse-over them, the definitions appear. Cool, eh? : PAB, EIG, WR, FU (as in FU Terms) :p
