Rome Casino Fraud Gets Me

So 2 months ago now I put a 50 dollar deposit into Rome Casino. Wow, big mistake, these guys are the absolute worst of the worst of fraudulent entities. But anyways, I put my money in and in a couple of hours im up to 1500 and I then cashout. I use bankwire for my method and am told it takes 18 business days.. Wow what a scam, but whatever, makes no difference, so I wait.. 30 business days go by and I start to ask questions on a cashout that is pretty big in my eyes. I ask the support people who go from saying "18 business days to", "sorry you have to contact finance to find that out." Well what do you know, finance@romecasino.com never answers any of their 100 emails from me! I can go on and on about how I've tried countless times to get through to the support people, and I even called them on the phone yelling and demanding some sort of supervisor or manager that had to have more brains then the people I was talking to, but to no avail. I come here in my last effort to try and get back the money that is owed to me. I go from being up 1500 to losing the 50 that I put in, and that aint right friends. Please help me Meister!!!! Get these guys.

Some advice first.

It's always easier to get help when you are serious about your account here. "Location : hehe" isn't much of useful info to us. ;)

Additional info about Rome:

They use Rich Casino for some payouts(maybe all?). That email adress to finance might be to same finance department as Rich Casino. Rich Casino have recently been put in the rogue pit:

Another thing that is hilarious is that no matter what time you call up Rome Casino, a manager or supervisor is never available to talk to. You can call at prime time hours or you can call at night or on the weekends, you will never talk to anyone in charge or anyone that would HAVE to be able to do something. Its quite a set-up they got going on, this is why casino sites have a fraction of the people as poker does, these sites scare everyone away with their fraudulent payouts and customer service ethics. They will also not answer as to why a bnak wire would even take 18 business days even though it is now 2 months full of business days. OH and 18 is the MAX, but im on 2x the max somehow, make sense? Didn't think so.

Sorry about what happened to you, but you're not alone. I wish $50 is all they took me for. They owe me well over 5 grand.

But my story is identical to yours....that's kinda weird, eh? I know that doesn't help your situation, but what can we do...if anything? If you hear of anything please let me know. I'm with you though....in my eyes it's fraud.

Yeah I really just don't get it, there have been so many stories and such about these casinos yet we do not really do the research until after we don't recieve the thousands they should give us, way to little research is done BEFORE the deposit, but why after all these hundreds of horror stories about fraud is Rome Casino not shut down? I mean how many times do you have to steal customers money before the Online Gaming sites recognize this as fraud and shut them down for stealing and throw them in the slammer? Seriously..

You have provided absolutely no explanation why this player is receiving the runaround, and certainly it seems that no viable explanation exists. I dare to think of all the players your casino is taking deposits from with absolutely no intention of paying them should they be lucky enough to win.... Unless of course they find a Public vehicle such as CM to air their complaints.

Seeing these complaints against your casino is getting rather old in my book. You've been around long enough to have had the chance to get it together. Any person in the world can walk into a bank anywhere in the world and send a bank wire if the casino needed to resort to that. Heck, I have worked places where we had it set up that we simply faxed our bank wire instructions and boom! It was done. This process took only as long as it takes to print out a word doc and hit speed dial on the fax machine.

There is unequivocally NO excuse for this.

I understand where you are coming from here, I really do. But allow me to make a few points.

First, we are not Top Game. TG rents us the games just like RTG rents the games to Rushmore or GVC. We do not share any of the services at all, please do not put our eggs in the same basket :)

Second, to say that Rome has no intention to pay players has no base in reality, they have had delay issues, they've had them for a while, and while it is true that this is not a lovely situation, they are not trying to deny payment. The complaints, and I do admit they represent an issue, relate to delays.

I do apologize for these delays and believe me when I say that this is our greatest concern. It is not as easy these days as you make it sound. Perhaps a few years ago we could press a button on a fax machine but these days, post June 1st, post the banking laws, post processors vanishing, processing and sending withdrawals has become quite more work than that, and I'm sure you know that it isn't easy for players and casinos alike these days. We are trying to handle all delay issues and resolve them as they come. I know how frustrating it is to players, we are not ignoring it as you can see but try to help and get these issues fixed.

While I appreciate your efforts towards damage control, you have not explained why this player was not given access to persons who could at the very least come across intelligently with an explanation of what is going on. Nor explain how he could send 100's of emails and be met with complete silence.

I also am starting to see the entire June 1st blah blah blah excuse as just that, as many many casinos that continue to serve the US appear to have no problem whatsoever with paying their players in a timely manner or at the very least leave the lines of communication open with their players in order to prepare them for a long wait. Even if it means cutting 15 $100 cheques and mailing them to the player so as not to arouse suspicion at the players bank, that is what should be done.

In my opinion, if a casino is able and willing to receive money from a player, that same casino should be prepared to pay them out. Anything else is irresponsible fraud. If the casino can not do that, then the casino should NOT accept deposits from these players UNTIL SUCH TIME as these kinks are worked out and not a minute sooner. Lets face it, you know you have a problem, and have known for some time, so why continue to accept deposits?

But let's check some small details from the past before you answer me. :D

Let's check what we know about support, money processing and banned players.

Last year, when the Top Game CSR on crack issue happened, it was at Rome Casino.
At that time, you definately used Top Game central support.

A few months later, I deposit at your casino and at the receipt it said Rich ..just like all the other Top Game casinos who were tied to Top Game central support and money processors.
Remember, the stand alone ones had their own..when I deposit at Black Diamond, it said Black Diamond on the receipt as well.

When Top Game banned me from all casinos, I was banned at Rome Casino as well. I was not banned at the stand alone Black Diamond.

Infact, you were the first guy decent enough to tell me that the decision to ban me was from Top Game themselves. Thanks for that, I mean it. :thumbsup: You helped me a lot.
You also told me that you couldn't change that decision, it was up to Top Game.

If you are a stand alone one nowadays, you can unban me at your casino. That would be great, I lost money on your casino before I was banned. I want to win those back!

But are you really a stand alone casino Noah?

Yes, I can assure you I am telling the truth. Rome is STAND ALONE. It USED to share some services with TG, that all stopped on July 2009. An inhouse CS department was erected then, exactly due to the 'cs on crack' issue you mentioned. A few months after that - all processing, withdrawals, fraud and all other departments became completely inhouse. =

As regards your unbanning, I of course do not make the decisions but I will be happy to check for you if the account can be reopened. Can you please PM me your user name?

SAME exact story with me

I'm going to post a message in the thread where I saw ppl writing directly to Rome casino, but I just wanted to tell you that I have a duplicate story. Same chats, same delay... only my winnings were only 400$, but they're still MY winnings!!

I'll let you all know how it goes. Glad for that list of good casinos tho, will use that from now on :)

First of all i don't think it's very wise to start shouting at people in an OLD THREAD, being a new member and all...

Second thing is that you are giving NO details about what's been going on and for how long. How are people supposed to respond to that?
