How about you take responsibility for your own actions? I take it you were prepared to lose the £43k? Would you have returned any profit that you made?
It's so last season, todays it's cool to do something stupid expensive fckups and blame somebody else being responsible because they allowed. These claims that casinos shouldn't let me lose for reason XYZ are very common these days.
Happily we are not in reach of US civil courts who keep giving "Darwin Award" people huge compensations for being stupid/irresponsible, there's quite good reason why UKGC want to avoid much as they can to handle any player complaints, it these are free to do and there is nothing to lose, naturally there always are some people who think it would be only fair thing to happen to get full refund from losses.
Think many on this forum have time to time lost more than planned but majority just accept it as own stupidity and go on. Unfortunate for others is that when these keep happening enough, UKGC (or whoever regulator who start to see these as big issue) start throw these cool regulations for max bets, max deposits and all other childish limits just because very small part of players don't wanna hold any responsibility about their actions, many thought that it's enough to make sure that only adults can gamble but there always are few who wanna prove it wrong and want somebody else take care of their self-control and pay damages.
