Several people have remarked to me they don't know how I put up with some of the replies directed at me, and tbh I have developed a certain amount of immunity to the slights and attacks, up to a point it goes with the territory but this year [I guess for various factors] it's gone up a notch.

Still it's not something I'd report as I don't believe in that approach to debates on an adult forum, and if the staff reading see no problem, will have to suck it up; but it is toxic - no better word to describe it really - to members on the receiving end and probably neutral readers.

[People often say social media is toxic, so no doubt it's endemic elsewhere on the internet too.]

I'm sure my posts and those of others can be challenged or disagreed with, without the need for blatant rudeness. Vorcirion's post above is typical, basically stating to my eyes, he intends to carry on attempting to wind up and annoy people he disagrees with...in the end no one will want to post and engage as a result.

Re this biden story I'm not so biased not to realise giuliani isn't capable of tricks, but I'm still interested to see whether the story has legs. If the 2nd debate had gone ahead, we'd be discussing that instead no doubt.

We all come from different cultures and upbringings let alone different countries. My language seems brash to some and some may seem harsh to me.

Somebody said to me recently 'offence must be taken, rarely given'.......just check out the differences with these people from different cultures.....what one finds offensive is pretty fair in another.......loved this show but not very pc or acceptable for todays views.......

It seems to me that if you have extreme right wing bias on this thread that you feel that everyone should be as gullible as you. You think you can post any snippet of info and claim it’s sources are factual and it’s the truth and anyone who disagrees with you is wrong , no matter what real evidence they put as proof that it’s wrong.
@harrybkk has proven wrong time and time again the frankly crackpot theories of some contributors to this thread but they still push back at him with more right wing BS, more Qanon crap, and he is a far more patient man than i will ever be.
We had all the BS about HCQ on the coronavirus thread, and all the “fact” they posted has been proven to be BS, so they move on to the next Qanon tripe.
A few months ago we had the same posters going on about Biden and Ukraine , how it would prove that their hero was in the right, we had spygate and how that would blow it all open , but what came from it - FA because it was all conspiracy theory BS.
So now they have moved to the next one , clutched at straws and yet again only provide the biased conspiracy theory links, nothing with any foundation and the merry go round starts again.
Same old BS, and when they are called out they feel so hard done by.
But hey, I’m only a thicko who can’t see the deep state and the big picture where the Donald rides to the rescue and we all live on fascist utopia ...
Thank fook I live in the real world.

Have to add at no stage has any real evidence been provided by the Qanon brigade, most likely because it doesn’t exist.

As a very important side note to the above. The FBI warned the Trump whitehouse that Rudy G was being worked by Russians to interfere in the 2020 election. But why mess with a good thing. The October surprise worked in 2016. Might work now.

Can’t see it being even close, the BLM nonsense and the digs from the media and bias from before his last victory will secure this.

not knocking the liberals etc, but many silly things they want or are trying for will push the silent voter away, as in the U.K. it’s a massive thing like when Boris destroyed labour...

is he doing well? Can’t really judge as this pandemic is a one off, easy to point fingers when your merely the opposition.

So you looked at the polls which show Biden consistently leading across the board, with a much wider margin than Clinton in 2016, and you conclude Trump is going to win again?

Sure, the polls had it kinda wrong then but there's quite some differences between then and now. Biden has never dipped and Trump's win was still within the margin of error. Right now Biden is still pulling away, the last time they were kinda close was in april.

The only way you could conclude right now he's going to win is if you believe that some states are going to do what they are threatening to do: just have their state representatives appoint the winner because of "voting fraud". And the fact they are making these kinda plans should tell you that they are running scared.

But we'll see, it's still 50/50 for me.

Who knows, should he indeed win, he might create the same chaos as the UK is experiencing right now, by all means, no easy feat :rolleyes: . He's certainly leaving/scrapping all treaties/alliances he can. Selling a faux "golden future", very much like it happened in the UK, and the blind/deaf sheeple will follow him into the abyss. :lolup:
 
This is mainly because of what they believe in. They think that having a fearless leader is what it takes to build and maintain a country. Well, I don't think North Korea will work with China and Russia tho.

Turns out he has a Chinese bank account (still active today) and paid $188,561 in taxes in the country from 2013 to 2015.
