Dear friends,

This is my first post, but I supose it will not be the last one. My problem is the following:

I am not going to say the name of the online casino where this issue has happened until a final decision is taken. I will only say that it is a casino supposed to be fair, according Casinomeister.

A couple of months ago, I deposited 1,200 euro in this casino, and played winning and making a withdrawal of 6,000 euro, very fast and with no problems.

As I had money in my balance, I played again about 15 days ago. I played live roulette (I only like this game), and on June the 12th, I had a huge good luck run, winning about 400,000 euro. Suddenly, a "server error" message appeared, and when I tried to log in again, my account was locked.

After trying to contact the support, finally I got a good answer from the casino: My account was locked becase I had a tremendous run of luck, very unusual, and they had to verify my bets in order to make sure everything was correct.

I understand it. It is a very big amount of money, and it has to be verified.

Finally, I have had an answer today from the casino, referring to "unusual betting patterns and account activity". Therefore, the game has not been played fairly.

Of course, I am confident of my bettings, they were placed legally, fairly, before the ball hit a number... all those things.

But I am very worried. I do not know what to do or who to ask. I have read many times the Terms and Conditions and I have not found anything that doesn't agree with my play. I have some screenshots that verify my winnings, but I will keep them until everything is solved (or not).

I have not received any bonus from the casino, so it is not that problem.

What should I do? I am very worried because it is a huge amount of money and I don't know what to do!

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Regards

ID verification: you're not an actor from new jersey are you?

if you aren't then by all means you should pitch a bitch.

good luck

Hello and welcome abroad, edd4ie!
Please could you clarify few questions for me? I think it will help me to understand the issue better.
1. What are they mean when they say "unusual betting patterns"? It's sounds a bit strange for me.
2. Please tell us the name of the Casino.

And now regarding your issue. As I understood, you played Live Roulette, but there is no known methods to cheat the Live Roulette, because the only one thing you can do is to place bets! And there is no RNG, which you would try to break. There is just wheel, dealer and you! And it's your decision where and when to place bets, right? Their allegations are just a b/shit! So I'm unable to understand why they have locked your account. But I'm bit confused by "account activity" phrase...
Hope you will get paid!

I only hope that this as yet unnamed gambling venue is in a jurisdiction with some sort of commitment to fair play and teeth - it could be an avenue the OP may have to use.

Could be an interesting one to watch this. Shades of the Pirate case from a few years back. Definately Pitch A Bitch.

In case you were wondering, the references to the actor from New Jersey are a reference to an old member here who caused a stir.

Hello again, and thank you for the answers.

I didnt realise that my name could sound like a bell.

Anyway, the important thing:

I am not going to say the name of the casino because they havent taken their final decision. I would like to be fair regarding this. They are still investigating my bets, but one of the managers of the casino has told me that they have found "unusual betting patterns and account activity", so the game "has not been played fairly"

What are unusual betting patterns?
I don't really know. It was the first time that I heard that not all the bets are admmitted in live roulette. that means that a novice player will not be able to play martingale? I dont know

What is unusual account activity?
Neither. This sounds even more extrange to me. I didn't know that you cannot connect to the casino whenever you want.

Anyway, I have not received any more information about this unusual things...

The casino is a recognised one, and it is not located in an unknown place.

And yes, all the winnings where in live roulette. No RNG to cheat: you only place your bets and wait for the ball to hit your number... or not.

I supose that all my bets are recorded, as well as the results of the live roulette, so it would be quite easy to show the fairness of the game, but the truth is that I am really worried.

Thank you again!!

Hello eddie, Max Drayman writing, I'm the Player Grievance Manager at Casinomeister.com

Among other things I handle the Pitch a Bitchs, which is our system for lodging a formal complaint and having one of our staff, namely me, chase it down for you.

The Pitch a Bitch (or PAB) service is free and there are no strings attached, ever.

As has been mentioned this is probably the way you want to go with this. It's a large claim and you don't want to do anything to hurt your chances of getting full and proper service from the casino. Openly discussing the issue here -- which you haven't done, I'm just mentioning it -- is probably _not_ the way to go because that tends to antagonize the casinos and could seriously harm or even kill your chances of getting paid. I'm not saying that makes sense or is even reasonable, it just happens to be the way things go.

So, I hope you will do the PAB thing and we can get the ball rolling on this. I'd love to land a big one before I hit the road for a bit of family time in a few weeks.

yeah max is trying to schmooze the high roller :p

it was a very well written post though max.

Hello Maxd, thank you for the info.

I will surely go through the PAB section in order to solve this issue in case it is not solved simply speaking with the casino management.

If you think this thread shouldn't be here, you are free to move or delete it. I only wanted to know what was the best way to manage this problem.

This is definitely one of those cases in which there will be a great deal of interest regarding which casino is involved and how the management justifies its actions - if it penalises a live-over-the-Internet roulette player.

I hope Max leaves the thread open for now, and that the result of the PAB is added in due course.

Edited to add a further note that this week we have already seen another player complaining of non-payment of $36 000 at CWC - I hope this is not another case from that company.

I hope Max leaves the thread open for now ....

No worries there, it's a legit thread and something many of us are interested in knowing more about.

Hi edd4ie,

Major congrats on the win .

If you don't mind me asking, were you playing on a European table (single zero) or an America table (double zero)?

BTW - if the casino is accredited here at CM, your chances of getting paid are far far better than if the casino were not accredited.

The position the casino seems to be taking here is pretty unbelievable. I mean, how exactly does one "cheat" at online live roulette? Using telepathy or pre-cognition?

Barring some miraculous explanation of their actions, this casino cannot be allowed to walk away from this debt without serious consequences: not just being put on a rogue list, I mean industry-wide pariah status.

But let's hope it doesn't come to that, and the casino will reconsider its decision not to pay this player.

Thanks.
I tought CWC was Club world casino.......and Im sure I wasnt the only one to misundearsteand.:D

Shows you how confusing acronyms can be LOL, but Casino Web Cam has been around for some time and I always personally associate it with live-betting [which is what this thread is about] via the Internet.

I believe CWC - (Casino Web Cam) is pending "rogue" at the moment. They have suddenly become non-communicative - but I don't believe it's them since I haven't recommended them for quite some time now.

Looking forward to the PAB since it has sparked my curiosity.

Hello again!

Today I have been contacted by the CEO of the Casino. He has told me that my account was unlocked and my winnings available (it's true!!), and that I could make a withdrawal if I want to.

It seems that everything has been solved, but I'll wait to receive the money.

The answer given by the CEO has been very good. I will tell you as soon as I receive the transfer.

Thank you all for your help!

Quoting edd4ie, "The casino is a recognised one, and it is not located in an unknown place."

This really sounds to me like this is either an accredited casino or it's one who is not on there but quite famous. But the ones who is not on there but is famous do not have Live Gaming except 1, which is Dublin Bet (power by VueTec).

The other possibilities is that it's a PlayTech casino on the accredited list or it could be none other than Ladbrokes which has CWC as their Live Gaming software.

Oh... Coral/EuroBet could be a possibility as well. So there's not many casinos that we could narrow down the possibilities to. If I'm not mistaken I have just managed to narrow down the list to about 6.

1. Dublin Bet
2. Ladbrokes
3. Bet365
4. Centrebet
5. Tila Casino
6. Betfred

Anyone else could think of any other based on what he said?

Hi.
Not for nothing, but I think it's better not to start guessing or even mentioning casinos at this point, regarding this.
I think the best thing to do, is keep very low, at least untill this guy gets his money, and if he doesn't, let maxd and the player handle it quietly, with the casino in question, so there's a chance that this will be solved in a good way.
In some cases it's better to keep low, and I think this is such a case.
I'm sure we'll hear more about it, in time, no matter what the outcome will be.

Congratulations on your win, by the way, and good luck getting it.

Just my opinion ofcourse :)

Thanks for the update. It's most appreciated.

The OP has contacted me offline with grave concerns about where this thread is going:
I have seen that the thread where I posted the message is getting full of messages trying to find out what the name of the casino is. This is not good for the casino, and this is not good for me.

It wasn't the intention of my post. I only wanted to find out what was the best way to receive the money I had won, not to create a debate regarding the name of the casino.

I don't think any of us want to hurt his chances of getting paid and if this thread is doing that then it isn't really serving anyone's interests. At the OP's request and given the extraordinary circumstances I've elected to close the thread.

If the circumstances change, as in we hear that the OP is having a problem getting paid or whatever, then I'll be happy to re-open this.

Actually, I've been in touch with the casino - and yes, the player is definitely being paid. No worries there. He should have the money in his account today.

I'll reopen the thread.

I am a bit confused here... stop the player in which way?
I think he meant that a less than honorable (or financially strapped) casino would have disconnected the player from the game. The casino was losing in a big way. :D

Fortunately (for the player), this casino is a reputable one. The player chose well.

And congrats to Eddie - you need to do something wise with your winnings. Winnings such as these are a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. Don't expect it to happen again.

He won 400.000 euro which is well over 600.000 american dollars.

Great news for you Eddie! The stress of not knowing wheather or not you were going to be paid would've killed me if I were in your shoes!

(is it weather or wheather?.. I always confuse the two)

I kept reading this thread from the 1st post and expected to hear bad news at the end, but I'm glad that it's a "good news" story!
We don't get to hear very many of them.

Congratulations Eddie!!

I hope you invest the money & live a comfortable & happy life with the win ..

Hello friends,

I confirm that I have received the payment, exactly as the Casino Manager told me. They have been very professional in their acts.

I have cancelled my mortgage and wondering where to invest the rest of the money...

Thank you again for your help.

Regards

PD: I do not know if it is better to say the name of the casino or not. Casinomeister can say the name if he consider its good for the community.

It was Dash casino. That's why I had no worries that this player was going to be paid - and paid swiftly. There was a hiccup along the way when MGS conducted an audit.

Congrats edd4ie!! I hope you spend your winnings wisely.
