Net Deposits - what are yours

You may have seen in the 1000x plus wins thread that I hit my first max win in the weekend (£1,000 win on a £0.25 bet) with bet365. After a £1,000 withdrawal this morning (which hit my bank account less than 30 seconds after requesting), I was wondering what my net deposits were with bet365. I’ve been very luck with this casino in the two years I’ve had an account with them, playing slots (max RTPs do help!).

My net deposits as at today are -£1,108. That is, I’ve withdrawn £1,108 more than I have deposited. I never deposit more than £50 at a time, and I rarely make more than one deposit in a weekend to bet365 (1 to 2 deposits per month mostly). Most of my bets are £0.20, and I never play a slot that has a min stake of more than £0.30.

If I say my average bet across all slots is £0.25, my net deposits are 4432x my average bet. Admittedly my 1k win has skewed my results, but I still would have been in profit regardless, and this is great for a couple of years of entertainment.

I’m sure my situation isn’t normal but interested to see if others have similar experiences (or not).

I too am in profit. Without going through each account though I can't say how much. I go from month to month knowing I made or lost, and that's enough for me to know, as most months I have been lucky enough to make bank.

Since the tightening over bonus offers and free spins, money doesn't come as easy, but still in profit.

I wouldn't play much if I wasn't winning on a regular basis, hence why, in the long run, I think lowering RTP will shoot casinos in the foot. Not everyone is a problem gambler fighting to recoup losses - far from it. A big percentage of players will just stop playing when the fun stops (excuse the pun).

Although slots are random, how you manage your deposits and withdrawals is not.

Game choice is also another thing that helps - I also play max RTP.

Rarely will I allow myself (unless I play with lucky win funds and fancy a reckless spin or two) to get sucked into the bells and whistles of bonus hunting, that doesn't work as well for me, I let them come when they are ready.

These are things that, in my opinion, maximise my fun

I recall being up at Sky Vegas to the tune of around £1200 after a great hit & run DOA session a couple of years ago, and for the longest time my log-in 'profit reminder' would make very happy reading. Even when still at around the halfway mark I thought I'd cracked the code to slotting success - up until it started going back into minuses, through sheer will, determination and talent ?

I'd wager that overall in my slotting career I'd likely have been up a fair whack, were it not for chasing bad sessions, wanting to repeat previous successes, or simply wanting to keep the feelgood factor aflame. Realistically, I ought to be up a few grand across the board, but am probably down several K instead, because once you win at a certain site, you start believing in your own invulnerability. Alas, this is what you get for playing High Variance games almost exclusively, and for being a greedy c*** ?

This is where I traditionally always favoured bookies, because as mentioned, if hitting big, you could withdraw in a flash without general KYC dickery and (mostly) no pending. Bet365, Betfair, all adhered to no-nonsense payouts, and if anything, you'd find me 'less in the red' with those than at other casinos, possibly even in profit. A lot of a session's fate hangs on a casino's ability to pay out quickly, and I have no doubt that impacted my profit/ loss ratio. Bastards.

Ok so it’s not so uncommon then. Given how brutal slots can be these days I thought it might be less common, but happy to hear others ahead at some places too.

I do play in a very controlled manner which may be contributing to my success (at b365 at least).

In profit for the last two months.

Sadly Betway are not a max RTP casino. Take the recent release 777 Surge by Microgaming. It is set to 94% at Betway vs 96% at MrQ. I think you will find that MrQ is the only other UK licensed casino with max RTP.

On a more serious note, im down on my main casinos, (Videoslots, Nordicbet & Vera&Joh)
And id say 90% of my money & play goes to them, which makes it more likely will be i up on casinos i play alot less at.

Win a couple hundred at x casino and withdraw, but very little if any of that money will go back to casino x, if i use it for gambling the main sites will eat most if not all of it.

Im not saying its impossible, but its incredibly unlikely that i will ever be able to push Doa or WTB over 100% rtp on the main sites.
Im above the Trtp on two of them, but pushing the rtp the last 3% to get it over 100 is probably about 20-30 average wildlines, without any losses or added spins between them,getting 10-15 widlines in a row all paying 6000x would also work, but while its technically possible its so unlikely it might just aswell be called impossible.

I can of course increase my overall rtp on the casino to over 100% by just increasing my betsize and getting some big wins, but doing the same on WTB would be alot harder.

TLDR: Doing too many spins on the same slot makes the rtp catch up to you.
