Marty Davis - Gambling Wages rep trying to assist players

Sometimes I wonder what goes through these guys heads? :what:

Gambling Wages are their own worst enemy - they stick their heads up above the parapet only to get hammered away and then say "duh, wha'appened?".

As a rogue operator, there is a right way to offer assistance in a forum, and a wrong way. The right way is to contact the forum administrator requesting that you would like to address issues, whatever they might be; make an introduction, request information, and monitor the thread daily.

This is an example of the wrong way to do it. Post on a Saturday and vanish until a few days later to see what's up.
#1 - there will be too many questions to answer effectively.
#2 - there is a good chance that you're going to get beat up, the thread will be spiraling into various rants, and you will appear to be just another example of your company's lack of proper management.

You're shooting yourself in the foot with these attempts of rectifying whatever situation you're trying to get out of.

So - let's do this right. Get back in here and answer player issues. I'm PMing the guy now.

Marty will find a very harsh audience here I believe.

You'll notice it's mostly new members walking in the door screaming, "(Insert any Virtual Casino name here) casino won't pay me!" in their first post.

A lot of us played at one or more of the Virtual casinos when we first started playing online, before we knew any better. Most got burned and a few got paid (eventually) and the rest - like me - decided to quit playing after reading the stories from the people who got burned. I suppose it's possible that some of the long-time members here are secretly playing there and just not saying anything. But I doubt it.

(Wouldn't it be a trip to log into the forum one day and find a post by Pina saying "Cool Cat won't pay me!") lol...The odds of that happening are just about as good as the Virtual Casino group turning straight.

I'm all for them turning over a new leaf, and I sincerely hope that this guy will actually deal with some of the player issues that have been raised. But walking in and saying "but it's different now" won't make anyone trust you with their dosh. We've seen this routine before.

I still cant fathom why anyone would believe that there would be even the slightest chance that Virtual would improve or change.

Its obvious their business model has been and continues to be succesful.

Personally any flaming a Virtual rep gets is called for, not that I would partake in it. Its not like you are forced to work there.

So giving them the benefit of doubt is playing into their hands. Once again.

Of course not. Not when their core business model is of being a criminal enterprise. A leopard does not change it's spots. The only way to stop their ongoing worthless reputation would be to burn it to the ground and write it off. Marty, if he has one ounce of integrity, has picked an undoable job and should go work somewhere else. I give him credit for coming here, but I don't think it took him longer than the first half dozen replies to realize he was in over his head.

In the past Mr. Green use to login and never say a word.
Ok I do have to say he did reply at times.
Don't be like him.
The only way to get to all the issues for players is to take part & help the one's that have issues with Gambling Wages.
Thank You

I have a feeling we won't be hearing much from Marty anymore.

I'm curious why he stopped posting here: because of a lot of negative comments, or because he just realized how many issues he will have to resolve?

I think it's a little of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.

Affiliates & Players have been screwed for years.
Marty sure came into a deep hole on this one and I sure wish him the best of luck too with his new job.
All I can say is Marty has a long road ahead of him to take on a new job with a group that has many bad tails about them and he probably not knowing what went on with this group in the past.
He will see now that for many years players & affiliates have been screwed over & over again.
You can never make a smelly shit smell good.
Maybe if they pay out the millions owned people may have other thoughts about this group. But I doubt it.

I wish you the best.

Affiliates & Players have been screwed for years.

Rather comical as to how you'd place affiliates ahead of players, kinda says a lot.

For those affiliates who promote these known clip joints that also get shafted, it should give them an idea on how players feel when they get shafted time and time again by the Virtual Casino Group rogues.

Anyway...Screw the rogue affiliates.

It's the players who are always on the losing end of the stick where VCG is concerned.

Besides this thread is on a players forum addressing player concerns.
It's got jack to do with affiliate issues and those who promote these clip joints.

Actually it's because of rogue affiliates that so many noobies gamblers get shafted in the first place!!!

Cheers

:)

Thanks Jetset…I can see that action is what is needed here. I am currently going through the 9 pages of posts and pulling out the specific questions, comments and concerns so that I can address them.

Diamondale...Please call me back, the line is open.

I wasn’t going to post anything unless Marty came back. But my main question is how far back in the past are you going to resolve player issues? You could spend a lifetime just dealing with the past problems.

What bothers me from reading Becky’s posts is why someone of your caliber would align themselves with the worst casino group of possibly all time. A casino group that has been fraudulent over and over yet periodically states it is turning over a new leaf. A casino group that anyone who has any information about would automatically throw a emailed bonus offer into their spam folder. The business runs like a spider trying to bring in new flies into a web of deceit.

Regarding affliates being paid. Why is that even an issue? That’s like someone stealing my ATM card and me caring that the bank gets its transaction charge. Ridiculous…

Hi All4greed –

Yes I am aware of the old history and as I mentioned before I will do everything I can to help players resolve those issue…I don’t know how far back I will be able to go but I took this job based on the understanding that the company is going to take measures so this does not happen in the future. I have a commitment from my top management team members to resolve all player issues ASAP and in the best possible manner.

wow being an average player who just plays lsots for fun, and reads the threads on here i am amazed at how much this group is hated here...lol

i hope this guy can make a difference i use to like to pay there but stopped after reading all the complaints on here. but if i stop playing everywhere that has compaints against it on this site, i won''t have anywhere to play anymore.

The thing with this group is they they come sailing in with the same promise time and time again - we have turned over a new leaf and we are going to fix everything.

We had Virtual Ted and then someone else and then Robert and now Marty - all personable, intelligent and friendly people with decent reputations. But the line is always the same, and I suppose they are being told by upper management that this will really happen, that they get carte blanche if they come on board, that management will take care of all issues brought to them and so forth.

Same thing JTodd was told when he went on a mission to get players paid and failed.

That may work once, and it may work twice, but after that it is met with suspicion by everyone.

I have known Marty in the past and he is a good guy in my book, and just maybe he will be able to actually achieve what he set out to do. But I doubt it.

Thank you Dominique today has been long and hectic, I have delt with specific player issues today and working on responding to earlier posts. I'm trying to do my best.

Just in case anyone was wondering this is meant as a figure of speech and no more :)

Thank you Marty for admitting that the PR thing was put way before the horse and I will give you kudos on how your handling this situation, I really hope your being paid well for this massive battle you have ahead of you.

LOL! Thanks, I'm hanging in there!

But dang~it, they all seem to have simply forgot about the players and seem to be speakers that are more focused on SEO and Marketing and Industry Strategies....gosh darn~it Robwin:
I guess the cart is before the horse again...as in marketing for instead of retaining the players they already have..how dumb is that?

No wonder there has been a mass movement of players away from online gambling...the casino have forgotten who pay their bills..what a group!
