Marty Davis - Gambling Wages rep trying to assist players

Have you contacted Marty about your case?
This is EXACTLY what he has promised to clear up - so lets see if he can get this sorted for you and get your money back.

Frankly Marty should be/have contacted this player...It is after all his thread.

But I agree with you too KK.

If this case can not be rectified and put right there is little hope for anything else to follow. It would be in the best interests of this specific case to PM Marty.

Cheers

:)

Dave

PM me

Hi Mommy Machine,

Please PM me so that we can start corresponding, I am going to pull up your account and look it over in the meantime.

Thanks,

MD

I won a RJ for $4500 at coolcat casino last year when I started playing online. I didn't know any better. I used a No restrictions coupon. 3 days later they sent me an email that I didn't reach all of the WR?!? and my winnings were void. I have since closed my account, and I can't stand that the CS Manager emails me asking why I don't play there anymore. Do I need a better reason?

Im skeptical if their trust can ever be restored in anyone they have wronged. They can pay all the players they want, but at the end of the day their business will still be a shady operation IMO.

Honestly Marty, I dont want the money, I would rather not deal with it anymore. It was a horrible experience that I do not wish to revisit. Thanks but no thanks.

I know it sounds ridiculous that I dont want the money, but it was such a horrible experience it ruined playing online for me, for a long time. I would rather just forget about the whole thing. Im sure there a thousands of others he can help..For me its in the past and it can stay there.

...but I'm pretty certain Cool Cat is included under Marty's umbrella. As I understand it, he's able to deal with any of the casinos promoted by Gambling Wages and Cool Cat is definitely in that group.

Prism, I'm not certain about. It's actually not in the GW affiliate program.
Marty may be the rep for Gambling Wages, which is the marketing arm of only a handful of the casinos owned by the people who own what is known as the Virtual Casino group. I'm not sure how much pull Marty may have with resolving non-Gambling Wages/Virtual owned casinos. I'm not willing to guess - that's their business..

Yes, I am looking into each case that is sending me a PM or email regarding the Gambling Wages brands and Prism is one of our brands. Once again please PM or email me with your issue.

Thanks,

MD

I think that only time will tell one way or another if this new leaf is going to be turned or not. Someone said earlier in this thread (sorry I can't remember who) that it will be interesting to see what happens in 3 or 4 months time. Whoever it was, I totally agree!

IF they manage to get past player issues sorted and IF players seem to be getting paid in a reasonable time frame and IF this board isn't cluttered with posts about people saying that Virtual ripped them off in 3 months time, would I play there? Not a chance. If all that happened in 6 months time, would I play there? Nope.

If they manage to do all of this and stay aboveboard for a year or two, if they become accredited at Casinomeister and have a decent rep to contact with issues....maybe, but I really doubt it.
The thing that bugs me is that here's this guy Marty (who seems like a decent sort) trying to clean up player issues from FOUR years ago. I mean really. For four years the Virtual casino group has sidestepped and or flat out ignored multiple player issues? And there are no doubt issues from even before that? That boggles my mind.

How can you trust a company like that? Especially when there are so many really good and trustworthy RTGs available? We're spoiled for choice now with RTG casinos. Jackpot Capital, iNetBet, ClubWorld, Intertops, Rushmore group. I have so many RTG casinos I can't afford to play them all! They don't give out 1000% bonuses or toss out free chips like condoms on spring break, but every single one will pay me if I win.

I would have to also echo what Chayton has spoken here, I agree 100%. As just a player, that has certain feelings for certain types of software for the public to frequent, RTG is and has become one of the least I would play. But when it comes to the difference in my own perception, as a player only, after having read all the negative issues this group has strewn across a decade, there is a distinct difference between a group of casinos having their tight times compared to a casino you can never be 100% comfortable spending money with.
Earlier in this post I did comment that I had been paid by CC, but then it was only $250, had it been significant amount, would I have been another victim and how could I possibly ever be sure when the track record speaks otherwise?
The reason I commend you Marty, is for the simple reason that maybe you will be able to get past players paid as they deserve their money. If that is all you are ever able to accomplish, then that is something at least, which is more than has been done before, but it will not change the public perception based on that alone.
If time shows that this group has taken a different stance on how they deal in the public, speaking as, honest and trustworthy, then great, but we all know the Blacklist status will remain until these are changed in reality, but the distrust in players minds may never be mended.
And even if the US market opens it doors again, this group may have already done to much damage to itself to ever realize the piece of pie they could have had. JMO

Congrats. Which casinos were these?

cmon, he represents coolcat and not Virtual? hmmm...here is his response to me today

Pobeda,

I was finally able to look into your account and Virtual Casino is not a brand I represent. I'm sorry I would like to help you on this but I cannot.

Thanks,

MD

I guess, Virtual is to evil even to represent :)

I just has a whole post typed out and lost it....

Anyway, if you won the lottery for that amount would you throw out the ticket and say ahhhh it's only $4500?

Something seems a bit strange.

All you probably have to do is pm Marty and tell him your username/casino and probably send documents. Diamondale just posted he/she got paid, why not give it a go? What have you got to lose?

I wish $4500 didn't mean that much to me.

Its not that $4500 doesnt mean that much to me, I just don't want to reopen the wound is all. I got threatening phone calls, emails, mail sent to my house. I don't want anything to do with them, period.

Its a personal choice I have made to leave it alone, and I have the right to do so. Like I said before there is plenty of other people that need the help. There is nothing strange going on, its just a choice.

OMG....I'm sorry, now I understand. I totally agree!

I was thinking to myself why in the world would someone give that kind of money up, but I would too if I were you.

$4500 is alot of money but when you know the circumstances and what happened to mommymachine I would let it go also. I know mommy on a personal level and some serious stuff went on from this casino and its not acceptable what so ever. Why would someone in their right mind call with threats, send packages etc. I'm sorry but there is no justification for any of this at all. I'm sure Marty is a good person and is trying to do right by investigating everyone's accounts that are coming forward but there is too much water under the bridge I feel. Goodluck to those that do indeed get their money that is owed to them.

MommyMachine, I owe you an apology. I was thinking to myself why in the world would you turn down the offer of Marty looking into and possible getting the money owed to you.

After the explanation, I fully understand. Just shows what absolute a**holes these people are.

However, I would probably make them pay me if possible just because I am that kinda person. :D But I fully understand why you wouldn't want to revisit that nightmare.

??? The title of this thread is misleading then. Maybe marty should list out all the casinos that he represents.

Changed to "Gambling Wages"

The thing is, many players don't know the affiliate program for Virtual - or I should say a group of the Virtual brands...

It's all quite convoluted - and there are reasons for this. Just go back to the "Cirrus" casino launch a few years ago and you'll figure this out for yourself

If Marty does not represent Virtual, how was he able to look into your account?

MommyMachine, I too was wondering why anyone would abandon $4500, but I can understand now. Still, by not pursuing it now, you allow them to benefit by their bad behaviour, and I doubt that such experiences would be repeated now that they are attempting to clean up their image. Not with you a member at this board and the whole CM community watching.

I say let Maxd or CM deal with them if you don't want to fight for your money and put it to good use.
I too understand what your saying but what is yours is yours.
Donate it why give it to "Gambling Wages"

Excellent idea, BT!
MommyMachine, BT is absolutely right: of you don't need that money - just give it to someone who really need it! Maybe it will help to save the life! Couldn't be better!

Marty!

This is an important one.

As I see it, you are taking care of things. Good! Those players who gets paid now is better than nothing.

Still, we have to know which brands you can help us/players with.
I will not in any way see this as a new beginning as long as the Virtual group are trying to get a better reputation at some of the brands and not at the others.

At this point it looks like the Gambling Wages brands are paying their players and the other ones not.

It´s of course cheaper to pay 200 players instead of 500.

Correct me if I´m wrong.

Now to your answer of my questions:

Yes, I am looking into each case that is sending me a PM or email regarding the Gambling Wages brands and Prism is one of our brands. Once again please PM or email me with your issue.

How can we know what brands you promote or support when Prism isn´t on the list?

Ok, you don´t represent the Virtual Casino. But you do represent Prism even if it´s not on the list.

*Do you know Christopher DiAngelo? He seems to send emails from a lot of casinos. Which casino does he work for?

Christopher is the Casino Marketing Manager for
wxww.coolcatCasino.com
xwww.palaceofchance.com
xwww.clubplayercasino.com
xwww.cirruscasino.com
xwww.cirruscasino.co.uk
xwww.wildvegascasino.com

I have checked emails and Christopher DiAngelo seems to do marketing for almost every brand in the "virtual group". At least more than those you mentioned.

What I am trying to say is that all these casinos have screwed their players and now they have hired you to give some of the casinos a new start.

Almost all members here know that they are all in the same group with same owners and the same support staff.

Our goal is to be fully compliant with payouts as stated on our terms and conditions regardless of the payout method.

Not good enough!
I know that this is what virtual casinos have said for years.

You promise affiliates, but you have a goal when it comes to players.

I suggest that you from now on change your goal to pay players within 3 days and promise them payments within 5 working days.

Are these time limits hard?

Again, it's not that I don't NEED the money, it's not that I don't WANT the money. I will under no circumstances become involved with this group again. I have really good reasons for this. If I felt differently I would be fighting for it. I know some will think "If it was my money I would want it", but I will not take the chance of going through this nightmare with them again. I will not go into details, but the things I went through with these were scary, intimidating, and very serious. Think about it, I have 5 children, I could definately use the money, so my reasons must be pretty darn good for not wanting to fight for it.

Welcome 1
