Yes, it's no longer a rumour - but a fact:

I hit retirement age last year, and it's time for me to slowly fade away. I will be around of course and will still be at the helm while handing over my duties.

It has been a wild and crazy 26 years. I will be posting more about this later.

Everything is business as usual - and I see this site finally taking off as it should. Some might say I’ve ridden "the wave" for long enough – well, thinking on this – perhaps it was me who started that wave. Like my son recently said, “Old man get out of the way!” sure thing – that’s what I’m going to do. I wish GiG the best of luck to continue this Casinomeister journey.

I will still be working here for the next several months, so it's not like I'm really going away.

And that folks, is a page in the history of online gaming being turned. Bryan has been on the scene since the late 1990s -- as have I for that matter -- and has been not only a pioneer but a leader and guiding light for a quarter of a century. To say I'm saddened by his departure is an huge understatement; to say that I wish him all the very best in that sunset of his hardly begins to express my thanks and appreciation for the 17 years I've had the pleasure of being his colleague and work-mate. Happy trails big guy.

Sorry to see you leave the captain's chair Bryan but you've definitely earned your retirement from Casinomeister. We can only hope the new owners don't, erm, 'do an Evolution' on the joint! :D

Thanks for all you've done for the online casino landscape for so many years.

Wow Bryan! also kinda always felt you'd never hang it up and out-meister us all! But -well deserved retirement and i hope you get to use all that extra time to the fullest, old chap! Happy to have been here for the most of it, also have fantastic memories through-out, aside from all the knowledge i picked up. MAde a ton of friends here, and some of them even irl! Will keep visiting as per usual (granted a lot less these days) and here's hoping that you'll pop back in on a regular basis!

All the best, dear Bryan!

Congratulations Bryan - a truly epic post & time for a very well deserved rest!

Massive thanks for your efforts here over the years, (and the same goes to the entire Casinomeister team). I dare say you won't be a stranger around & let's hope we still see you at a show or conference (or 2).

Congratulations too to GiG for a brilliant acquisition - long may this place continue to thrive.

Congratulations Bryan!

Wishing you a retirement filled with endless relaxation and joy. Your dedication and commitment inspire us all.

Kind regards,
Karolina

Well, I didn't see that coming. Congrats on the retirement, it's going to be tough for the new owners to fill those boots!

Woooow, almost spilled my morning coffee reading those news ?

Congrats Bryan and the team ❤️
Although for me as well, your retirement or acquisition of CM, were just impossible to ever imagine! Quite a journey - thanks Bryan and Casinomeister for being a good cop for 26 years! ?

just to add - 26 years and counting :D
I believe CM will be in good hands :)

All the best for your retirement Bryan.

I am sure you will be remembered for years to come, your legacy will live on and remain a thriving community due to all your efforts over the years.

Now ...how are you going to fill all that time on your hands now without us troublesome lot to keep you on your toes? :)

Bryan,

Thank you firstly for being a true friend, secondly for creating such an amazing site in CM that has stood the test of time. Finally, for allowing me to work with such a great small team of people. It has been an absolute blast, every single day.

I wish you nothing but the best for the future. You deserve it.
