I'm not sure if us operators can take part in the vote, but I have to say - TranceMonkey really deserves an award this year.

I've worked in the industry for about seven years now, and spent some time on the supplier side at NetEnt. Still, I have learned so much from TranceMonkey's thread.

It's incredibly informative and gives a great insight to the world of game development. I'm sure if we added up the amount of time spent by TranceMonkey in the course of the year answering queries and giving detailed explanations (often more than once on the same topic, due to the size of the thread!) we would see he probably spent more time than most of us reps combined helping the forum members (I exclude Dan from that one, obviously!)

I know we probably can't vote but I wanted to acknowledge the hard work and effort here regardless

I consider myself in a lucky position, regularly attending slot demonstrations etc, but the insight that Trancemonkey has shared has certainly taught me a couple of things. His patience with the tinfolier's is also commended.

Here my votes, although I can't say much about a lot of casinos since I limited my play this year to three multi-platform hangouts and one download casino.

Best Casino: a tie between Videoslots and Rizk, the amount of games might tip it towards VS.
Best Casino Group: GiG, even if Guts does not deserve it but the others are making up for the shortcomings.
Best Download Casino: 32RED by a mile
Best Rep: Dan, with the Captain, Rachel and Mark very close. I mean this group represents the best of the best on how we player expect casino representatives to support and treat us. Always very difficult to pick one out but Dan's near 24/7 CM presence gave him the edge in my view.
Best Customer Service: for me still Betat, not once a beat late with an email answer, not once an answer a la "i have no clue", prompt Live Chat team, fast payments
Best VIP Program: Betat - great cashback deal, comps without asking the day after a bad session, etc., if they would just add a few more game providers. For me personally, Rizk is coming though very close to topple them.
Best Gaming Experience: Videoslots - amount of games, gamification level, battle of slots, free battle weekends
Best Casino Software: BTG, just so innovative in their creations, actually mathematical "monsters" which excites me personally, and although a lot of us have a love-hate thing with their slots we still play them virtually in every session
Fall from Grace: Next/CasinoLuck/WildSlots group by a mile, going from top to bottom in a matter of hours. Their websites still look totally amateurish.

I will say videoslots because of the battles alone. I have taken breaks from depositing and the 2 weeks of battles give you free play that gives you a chance to play for money and win. You wont win very much but just knowing that I am still playing for something is nice. It saves me from the urge of depositing and gives me a bit of a fill.

Just 2 weeks ago I had a 5 euro ticket I won from trophies and was taking a break from depositing and I placed 2nd in the battle for $50 and won $20 from other free battles so that was a $70 cashout with no risk to me. Its not much but it still gives the player the feeling you can get an ok cashout for free.

Only bad thing about their site is the vip program when you are on a bad streak.

Could you imagine a player who has only played at unibet or betsson and then goes to videoslots their first time, lol. It would be like someone living in the 1800's and then suddenly waking up in 2017.

The rep here seems super chill too. Ive lurked here for awhile and many reps can get emotionally involved and offended. He seems to take everything in and always respond professionally and never let negative emotions take him over.

Its one casino I feel if I won 1 million dollars at, there would be zero chance they attempt to screw me. I cant say I feel that safe anywhere else.

I've already nominated Rachel for best rep but is there a "best customer service" category? Because I'd give that to SlottyVegas/BetAT. Just about the most down to Earth group of CS in the industry in my opinion. Always ready to chat instantly and always polite, funny, on the ball with any issue.
I don't know how much time I've spent just sitting there chatting with them and bouncing jokes off each other, great bunch of people.

Yep, once again a year has whizzed by and the Casinomeister Awards are being extrapolated, ranked, and written. Just like last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and that one, etc., etc., blah blah blah - this is your chance to suggest new and interesting categories, awards, recipients, or any other input for that matter.

For the newbies, The Casinomeister Awards are dished out right after the Xmas break - usually during the third week of January. It's an "event of the year" which has been held since 2001.

For quite a number of people, these are the only awards that matter... Screw the rest, these are the best.

Best non accredited casino is Casinopop by a country mile. Fast withdrawals,great customer service and a very helpful casinomeister rep.

Best Rep has to be Dan the man from videoslots. Even when he faced with the most prickly questions he never seems to lose patience. Following Dan I would tip my hat to Rachel from Trada,Captain Rizk and Mark at 32Red. There are other great Reps but we hardly see them active. The rep that I would like to see more of in CM is Melvin from Royal Panda.

Best Customer service is a tough one because this year I have had little experience of using them but I would opt for Rizk.

Worst Casino? I would have to say Bet365.

Best slot developer has to be Big Time Gaming.

Slot disappointment of the year for me was Planet of the apes because I had high hopes before its launch

As I understand it it isn't about Bryan approaching casinos in regards to accreditation...but rather casinos stepping forward and applying for BBF and adhering to the process.

That is very true but I would suggest that most decent non accredited casino's would have already approached Brian at least once without success.
