Best Customer Service : Casumo, although I'm not a huge fan of the casino - they definitely have very good customer service who are funny and personable

Best Rep : If we are voting for rep on casinomeister then I'll vote for Krystal from SkillOnNet, she helped me out this year.

Best Provider : I think this year has definitely been the emergence of Pragmatic - 2nd will be a tie between Blueprint (thank you BTG) and Push Gaming

Worst Casino : Rizk for the way they handled SoW requests earlier this year

Best Casino Group - Direx NV - Good customer service, lots of bonuses and nobody in the casino business pays as fast as them.

Worst Casino Group : Progress Play for their terrible bonus terms

Videoslots and Guts, the first one is obvious.

As for Guts, I am a frequent depositor and everytime I ask for a freebie when I don't cashout support is very kind and quickly gives one, whether it's cash or freespins. Also, when I ask them to process my withdrawal in the middle of the night, they escalate it to finance and it gets done quite quickly.

Best rep: VS team (they continue to be great)
Best provider: BTG, yeah I know, but it's still my favourite. No. 2: Micrograming.

why secretly? dunover is staff and added. If youre concerned about perspective on favouritism or influence, we'd still love to hear input on what you think great strides were, best threads, or perhaps a new original category.

Sorry but I need to say are you kidding? Many cases this year where is some problems with paying for the players. I don't trust this casino group anymore but yes it is just my opinion

I've just remembered a caveat I thought of last year - yes, we have an outright winner who gets the CM award and 'Casino of The Year' badge but this seems a little dismissive of those casinos who are also outstanding but came in second or third. In doing so they have achieved high scores of 9.5+ themselves whilst not winning. I said in 2017 that I think it would be good for these few select casinos to have a specific badge awarded by Bryan along the lines of 'CM High Rated Casino 2018' or something a little shorter with equal weight. So in the case of 2017 when VS won again, Trada and Rizk with their huge scores of 9.8 or thereabouts would be recognized for their consistent and very high standards. I do believe I had acknowledgement from both Bryan and Maxd back then when I posted this idea - I hope this year it can be actioned? :thumbsup:

Yes, you have a couple of them that are doing a decent job as indeed Homerbert's is.
Be aware though that the group still has several properties backlisted by thePOGG!

Just sayin' - if somebody reads this and doesn't do their homework they may end up at one of the not-so-good DirexNV sites.
 
It is true that Trada and Rizk are on equal footing with VS and should not be automatically dismissed as runners-up by default.

As good as VS are they've taken a few regressive steps if anything, much like 32Red & Guts did in their heyday.

So short of awarding VS the coveted top spot I'm not even sure what the others have to do to win, it's not like there's much in it....plus Rizk and especially Trada's forum involvement and attitude is always near-exemplary :thumbsup:

I would swing a vote for LeoVegas were it not for their ropey reward system that's been stagnant since 1993 :D

well, tbf, it isnt a shoo-in - i believe most CAGS when casting their lot do their due diligence of looking back past the year and reading all the insight here. For example, last year I didnt even play VS and wasnt my casino of choice but still got my vote based solely on everything i'd come to learn about them over that 12 months.

I dont think necessarily an award is in order for high scores, but as above, a badge added to their names or review pages like members have CAG or MM, which can be granted and removed (should scores change).
Runners-up already get a shout-out by way of the shortlist and acknowledgement

It's not a crime to de-throne VS and give the plaudits to another, as mentioned by the scores of casinos sharing equal top marks.

Badges are one thing but as these are recognized awards and I don't see why Trada/Rizk shouldn't win casino of the year :cool:

Yes, and there have been issues with Rizk a few people have mentioned regarding SoW, VS have had a minor spanking from the UKGC and Trada? Well, have sailed through the year without controversy as usual. I mention these 3 because when I last looked they all had the extraordinary 9.8 scores here and are usually the main three casinos people comment on. This is why all three should be recognized, regardless of who gets the coveted 2018 CotY award.

Casumo I agree have superb support agents or 'ambassadors' that would be hard to match anywhere else. In spite of the increase in shithole rogue sites this year, plus the loss of many decent sites such as Red Queen it's good to see in this thread that there's still a hell of a lot of positivity and good people remaining.

Agreed and they well may; all this thread does is give Bryan insight into awards and aid in the shortlist; no particular casino wins based on this thread and I'm certain all youve mentioned will make the shortlist.
All I've provided is my opinion and nothing is to say it wont yet be swayed.
 
Best casino Video slots (for not banning me) and Trada, love em both
Best casino rep is the new BGO one cos, well just cos.
Best provider Netent. (Yes I actually like 56% of there games. Which is more than most other providers)
Worst provider BGT simply for the reason despite what people said about the extra chilli gamble that you could loose your feature they went ahead and made another.
Best video caster has to to Dunover.
Worst is a mix of letagiveitaspin and shirox..
 
Geeee... This is a tough one since I play at many casinos, but I do have enough information to make a list.

Best Casino: Videoslots. For a low roller like me, I enjoying playing on here just to have access the freerolls since it gives me something to do and the freespin rewards do pay off in the end. Game selection as a Canadian is awesome and cashouts are fast. Customer service is also quick to deal with my issues which is good.

Best Casino Rep: It has to be @Team.Videoslots and @Dan_Pragmatic for all of the work that they do to keep people happy. Even though Dan left VS, he and his team was helpful and the team is still doing a great job without him. Dan himself is doing a good job as a Pragmatic Play rep answering questions and being responsive.

Best Provider: It is a tough call, but I think Push Gaming has made great slots that are fun and unique so they are #1 for me. Close contenders are: Blueprint, Quickspin, and BTG

Worst Provider: Microgaming - While they have the most amount of slots, almost all of the recent releases are just low variance ones with bad math and payout. The constant "skins" of their old slots are not helping the situation. They need to innovate to come back up there!

Best Casino Group: L & L Group. They didn't have many slots available for Canadians, but recently over the last many months, they got many providers and the rep @L&L-Jan is active and does a good job. Only thing I'd like that would make the group even better is that they also payout on weekends. :)

Worst Casino Group: Casino Rewards. I keep getting emails from them trying to get me to play at other sites in the group and also since I made that thread... The fact that they give people a reason to do a reversal on a cashout to get a lame 25% bonus for people who are not from the UK where that stuff isn't allowed if it was tried with people from the UK. The "pending period of 48 hours" gives them a great excuse to throw crap like this when it seems like they could easily do cashouts fast. :/
 
Best Casino: Trada - For game selection and generous bonuses - cause when your broke AF a few extra cents comes in handy! Videoslots a close second.
Best Casino Rep: Dan and Other VS Reps- For putting up with the overwhelming amount of verbal diarrhea in the thread Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!
Best Provider: BTG - Frikin Addictive (bonanza is like crack - you know you gotta stop spinning but you just can't)
Worst Provider: Wazdan - Just No...NO
Worst Casino Group: Casino Affiliate Now- Playing any of these casinos is like pissing in the wind
Worst Casinos: Pamper,Moneystorm BetDNA Just try to make a withdrawal ... I dare you.. lmfao

 
Best Casino for me is Videoslots, Sadly HOJ, Formally Maple Casino was my favorite, but the free spin fiasco and their bonus terms left me not trusting them. I really like Terence as a VIP manager, and hope some day they can become better.
Best Casino Rep would have to be T VS, for always being here. And Rachel and Conner for being active participants for any ongoing promotion.

Best provider has to be BTG for me as most of my play goes on those dam slots.

Best boob obsession has to be PlaynGo

Best casino group for me has to be L&L

Best casino rep: Dan the man - Videoslots days, was here for most of year
 
Well I have to agree with most of the posters and go for Videoslots as the best for numerous reasons, mostly they are consistent and transparent and, dare I say it, I've yet to have an issue with them that hasn't been resolved in a timely fashion.
The worst is difficult as I only play at CM accredited casinos these days. Play OJO would be my choice, because i have deposited way too many times and never generated a withdrawal, lol! Plus I have had many issues with their kickers/bonus and only ever get a response when I PM their CM rep Krystal_EGO who has helped immensely. Indeed I gave up playing there because their CS was so tardy.
Best rep would be Dan@pragmatic for his constant presence, great promos and historic help (VS) also equally to TeamVS who have taken a lot of flack since they replaced Dan, but done their best and seem to be an honest bunch of folk whilst dealing with UKGC and all our constant mithering.
BTG get my vote for best provider, love the multiways and there slots are, mostly, addictive in a good way!

I love this idea as I have a nomination straight away. This member infuriated me by swooping into Cm exclusive comps, often with a big balance to enable him to win the prizes, contributes to nothing else and didn’t even speak to other members on a trip that was a prize from here!!!
