i'm a newcomer to this website and to online gambling. heck, i'm new to gambling...period. i don't know how to use the 'bonus' stuff from these online casinos. bonuses seem to have too many stipulations (sp) attached to them. i.e. you must gamble 3,000 hands to get this 20 dollar bonus...and the such. :) my point is that when i gambled with the grand banks ripoffs, they took over two months to pay me 75 dollars, even tho' i played without their bonus garbage.

you see, the story is (please bear with me) that i deposited 200 USD and got lucky enuf to raise my money to 275 USD. i thought i'd cash out to see what it was like to get paid. damn, what a nightmare. off the top of my head, i remember this:

numerous emails and phone calls to grand banks. so i thought... who? m two? what's that? who's that? these people only gave me excuses to put me off...i wanted to speak with the grand banks folks...'we're their answering service'. huh? answering service? at this point i knew i shoulda drove to vegas.

'we're back logged' due to many pay off's. you should receive your money in about 7 to 10 days.' being new to this online thing, i believe them and wait. no deposit to my account still. i call again. no grand banks people, just these 'm 2' folks. 'oh, you haven't been payed because you haven't submitted a 'player qualification form'.' a what? i ask. i didn't need this form to give them my money...but, i have to bow. they have my money. they fax it, i fill it out. i fax it back...okay, money's comin'. no, it's not. i call grand banks...oops, i mean the m2 folks...'no, you don't need to fill out a player qual. form. that form is for poeple who've won 1,000 USD or more.' oh, well, i've only won 75 bucks. but, hey, forget the 75 bucks. can i get my initial two hundred that was taken outta my checking account? 'oh, you'll get the whole two hundred seveny five. who did you deposit with?' net teller, i tell 'em. 'oh. do you have an instadebit account?' a what? jeez, i shoulda never trusted these online *ssholes. i'm pissed by now. but, hey, they got my money...my two hundred bucks, to heck with the seventy five. the grand m2 folks tell me that if i had an instadebit account, i'd get my money in a few days. so, feelin' that i'm gettin' it in the *ss, i bow to these jerks and i go thru the bull of opening an insta-damn-debit account. as instructed, i notify these m2 folks, give 'em my instadebit acct. info. i'm good to go...no, i'm not. i get nothing. i call. 'who did you deposit thru? net teller? oh. you see, we're back logged because of paypal.' paypal? what's that got to do with net teller? nothin', i'm told by these m2 grand banks folks. i'm informed that paypal is closing it's accounts. so, people using paypal are demanding their payoffs with grand banks. therefore, i'd have to wait in line to get my money. damn, i'm hot. what about my new instadebit account? it doesn't matter. but, i wait, nuthin'. i call 'em...whoever they are...and inform them that i know i've been scammed. but, i'm going to call them every damn day...and, i did...i got my money.

did i try to check the internet for bad casinos? yes. i found nothing about grand banks. bad online casinos? do a google search...it's tough to believe anyone.

i have no idea as to why i missed CasinoMeister. but, now that i've found this place and read about grand banks here in the forums, i feel better. it wasn't me, it was these slime bags who rip people off. or try to. was it that i was trying to play for a bonus and cash out (i read about bryan bailey's trip to montreal)? no. that crap (the bonus info) was too confusing...i played straight. i got dragged...for seventy five bucks...not a coupla thou'. amazing...

at this point, if i wanna gamble, without the long drive to vegas (and, to heck with these indian casinos)...who can one trust? i just want somethin' fair and square...

sorry my first post was soo long...

sincerely, ron mcclure.

Hi Ron,

I too am new to online gambling. Just started with real money in poker about 10 days ago or so.

I'm soooooo glad I found this website. Maybe you can get some help with your payout problem. Just reading the posts by more experienced folks is a big help.

Where bouts in CAL? Los Angeles here.

Tim

P.S. My avatar is not Larry Fine.... it's really me.

Paypal????? It has been against paypal policy for 1 1/2 years i think to use it for online gambling. Maybe people have waited this long from Grand Banks? Well you got your money and let that be a lesson. Bryan has a list of many reputable casinos and everyone of them he is willing to help should there be a conflict. Many of us that have been around a while have asked a favor from him.

His list is not all inclusive though. If you stumble upon a casino you think you will like you can come here and search the forum and/or the news to see what posters think or you can go "ask the casinomeister" and ask him yourself. Although I rarely play the online casinos (im mostly poker rooms) anymore there are many good ones out there, a good rule of thumb is to avoid RTG ones, they have the best software and are the only ones who offer the video poker I like but it is difficult to find one that is legit. The rogue list here is full of them. Good luck and at least you got paid.

tim...hi...thanks for your reply...

i finally got paid, but what a pain it was. i don't like to have to bother people, such as these m2 grand banks folks. but, they had my money...and, finally, they did pay. i'm pleased to find this website. mr. bailey (along with all who post here), seems to put alot of his time into fair gaming...and, i was glad to see grand banks casino listed as a bad place to game. as all have said, don't waste your time and money there. they discourage payouts...regardless of bonus play or not. i just wanted to share about the place, like all others have. good businesses deserve praises. bad businesses, well, deserve what they get, bad reviews.

and, i dig the three stooges...

i live in chowchilla, california...

sincerely, ron.

Just think if you had not hassled them you may have never gotten paid. If you have a really good experience its good to share that too so others like yourself new to the online gambling world might be looking into the same casino and find your positive post, just as someone looking for grand banks will find your hassle over what is such a small amount of money. Imagine if you had a big hit what would you have done? Good luck

thanks pokeraddict...

i'm glad i got paid. i have considered my experience with grand banks a lesson. so much so, that i haven't gambled online for real money since...but, i'd like to play. i know a lady who's played and been payed from intercasino and casino on net. i have a friend who's played partypoker.com, but keeps losin'. i'm not much for poker...because of grand banks, i'm a little gun shy...

sincerely, ron.

Welcome aboard Ron! Sorry to hear about your run in with those clowns at GB. They are really scum there. Do yourself a favor and uninstall their software and block their emails. They will send you constant bonus offers that are very attractive, but don't do it! They'll string you along for even longer each time you take them up on one of their 'generous' offers. Stick with places that are recommended by the 'meister and others.

And if in doubt, just ask here first. You'll undoubtedly get many replies to any request for someone's experience at casino x y or z. Intercasino is one that will pay you within about 24 hours (via neteller) without any b.s. (assuming you've met any wagering requirements on their bonus). Never played at casino on net myself, so I can't speak for them, but 1 out of 3 is a good choice at least! Stay away from Black Widow as well, they are the sister casino of Grand Banks. You'll run into the same b.s. there. Good luck!

I can vouch for the other 2 listed. I had an $8000 tourney win and a couple around $4000 they have paid in 2-5 days, it only takes that long cause they are unorganized most poker rooms have a 24 hour cash out. If your friend loses at party its because they are playing in the 1/2 or lower limits where the rake is outrageuous or they need to get better at poker. Its the biggest fish pond on the net. Their rake makes it hard to beat the lower limits though unless you semi pro or better. 2/4 and above the rake is better but still higher then the norm. Casino on net paid me in 1-2 days but I have not played there in a while. I hear all sorts of good things about intercasino but have never played.

jpm and pokeraddict...

thank you both for welcoming me. and, i do appreciate your advice and suggestions!

jpm...once i received my refund from grand banks slime, i deleted all software pertaining to them. but, however, i still have the emails and such saved. and, as you informed me, they did try sending me more garbage deals, which i continued to delete as spam. because grand banks was slimey with me, i won't deal with them, i don't care how sweat their 'come hither' deals are. by the way, do i need to call these grand yahoos and request that they delete and/or cancel my account? or after a certain time period will they delete my account info automatically?

pokeraddict...i think my friend plays the pokerparty.com 25 cent or 50 cent per hand rooms. any more advice you can give me regarding poker rooms, i'll pass on to him. better yet, i'll inform him of this forum and you two can chat it up. he digs poker. i'm not much for it...i dig blackjack, craps and roulette. i'm new to this stuff, as i've posted earlier. heck, my buddy, evan, the partypoker guy, is the one who got me hooked on craps!

in closing (damn, i seem to be a long-winded post guy...sorry! so much to ask!), i'd like to say that i'm smart enuf to follow mr. bailey's advice. he's (this website) got 100 percent of my attention regarding this online gambling. so, i won't try any of the 'rogue' or 'not recommended' sites. i'll only try the reputable ones...

thanks again, i'm happy to have found the Meister and you Friends of his.

sincerely, ron.

There is a poker room section here to browse through. At party the lowest limit they offer is $.50/$1 Pokerstars goes all the way down to pennies, Absolutepoker goes down to $.10/$.25 they are both worth a checking out. Absolute has tourneys that start at 50 cents. The issue with party is the rake in 50 cent party games is it is about 9% according to poker tracker, about double most other rooms. This is tough to overcome. Check out the list of rooms I put up in the poker section.

thanks poker addict...

i appreciate your time and advice...once i'm done with my chores (i can't seem to get much done due to this website! ), i'll head over to the poker room for a bit of browsing...

sincerely, ron.

Ron,

I would definately write to them and tell them to remove your address from their databases and also to not share it with anyone else. I'm sure that they'll sell it to someone and before you know it you'll get buried in even more crap (like I do!). Not that I'd trust them not to sell it anyway, but I would insist that they do not.

Also, as far as poker goes, I'd suggest playing some free money tournaments to get the feel & lingo down before you play for real money. Get to the point where you're kicking butt on the free tables and then try some low $$ tables or maybe cheap tournies.

I like the $10 or less tournaments the best myself. You get alot of poker play experience & fun, along with the possibility of making a few bucks with little risk if you can make it to the money places. Remember though its a marathon, not a sprint. Gotta be patient and fold alot of crap in order to make it to the last table.

What can I do?

Hi everyone!

Is it possible that they won't pay at all? I'm waiting for my money from Grand Banks and from its sister, Sterling House since the beginning of December (for almost 4 months)...

Does anybody have any idea what should I do?

I'd say fill out the pitch a bitch form here and have the meister rattle their cage. I would also be writing and/or calling them on a daily basis asking where your money is and why it hasn't been sent to you yet.

I contacted them several times, they apologize all the time, giving stupid excuses that they're having technical problems, but they can't even tell me when can I expect to be paid...

The problem with filling out the pitch a bitch form is that these casinos are on the Casinomeister's "casinos that I will not contact" list.

Anyway, is Playtech responsible for its clients?

Bryan has been able to shake money out of them before, I would still pitch a bitch.

The Black Widow, Sterlinghouse and Grand Banks crowd are notorious as you have seen from the links to other parts of this site - they've featured elsewhere too and experienced online gamblers are all too familiar with them and their slow pay policies.

Unfortunately, less experienced gamblers and maybe the bonus greedy either don't know about them or don't realise just how hard it is to get paid there and I guess that is the sort of customer that keeps them in business.

GIGSE is coming up in a few weeks time, and the management of these bummer casinos is usually present and can be confronted (Bryan has done this in the past for players) So I would follow JPM's advice here and pitch a bitch - it's worth a try.

They are almost worse than the ones that simply refuse to pay. They just keep stringing you along, torturing you with your own money. They are hoping you either get bored and go back and lose it, or maybe forget about it so they can just keep it forever.

At least the ripoff casinos are honest about their dishonesty!
