Grand Banks...DO NOT PLAY!

My main contact at Playtech (the one who was looking into this) is out of the office until next week. I'll check into this further since this is totally unacceptable.

yesterday my withdrawal was split into my deposit (250$) and my bonus and winnings (580$). The deposit has been credited to my account now but the remaining 580$ are still classified as waiting. Support told me that the information are "withheld by financial manager" and that Im supposed to email central deposit directly ([email protected]) but they didnt answer yet.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this??

Hello,

The management of Grand Banks Casino have already contacted you, via e-mail, about your withdrawal. That correspondence explained the policies your account had violated to that point, and what actions would be taken. Please refer to said e-mail.

What policy did you violate? You played and won and then expected to be paid? :what:

jpm, of course youre right but obviously Grandbanks/Blackwidow seem to consider "not-winning" as part of their Terms&Conditions. As soon as you dare to win there you violate them.... This thing is becoming more and more ridiculous. If it wasnt my own money Id laugh....

My story

I used a 10 n/d coupon for Black Widow in Dec 03. I hit a nickel royal and had quite a bit of it left after my playthrough requirements. I cashed it out.

I got the song and dance. I was relentless though. They must have a list of ways to put you off. The "because of so many payouts" thing...check, heard that one, the "do you have a (in my case PrePaidATM) account"...yep heard that one. So I had to get one of those and finally got it put in there in about a week. I guess in the grand scheme of things, I'm pretty lucky to have received it in 10 days total from the time I cashed out.

Not ever taking that chance at one of their sites again.

Bryan was this solved????

Embalu's problem? No not yet. Playtech's CEO is looking into this as well as a couple other people. The chief of security at Neteller has also been notified.

Seriously, my question is why is anyone still playing there? They've got to have holes in their heads.

Simple Bryan, they offer such tasty bonuses that the greed takes over. I've seen people write that they don't care how long it takes, as long as they get paid eventually, they'll still take all these juicy bonuses they throw at them.

Dumb :(

One thing that I don't understand: Why does Playtech allow this group to be their client? Isn't Playtech aware that this can have a negative effect on their reputation, too?

Playtech is well aware of the problems they are facing with their seemingly "hands off" approach to their operators. I have been in touch with their CEO and others and have made my feelings clear on this.

Because of this issue (amongst a number of others) I am no longer endorsing Playtech casinos at Casinomeister. The only casino that I'm hanging tight with is Kiwi Casino - they are an old timer Casinomeister casino and connected to a land based casino out of New Zealand. I have no problems with how they conduct business - and they have always been one of my favorites.

What is a shame is that I have three Playtech casino groups waiting to come on board here - and I am turning them down. This is a bad situation that I hope to resolve in Toronto.

There are plenty of good playtech casinos out there Bryan, you should reconsider letting them in. Kiwi frankly has pissed me off lately by not even having the courtesy of replying to my emails to their vip address, despite my status as a vip there. That and taking at least 4 business days to process a cashin back to neteller makes them no better than at least a handful of other playtechs I've played at. In some cases, they don't even measure up to them.

They do win hand-down though for ambiance.

I'm seeing things from both sides of the fence here. There are a number of things that I don't like. I'll leave it at that for now.

The problem that you're running into (I believe) is the centralized support - and not the casino. This is something that I'll (hopefully) be able to get talk about while I'm in Toronto.

Fair enough. I'll wait to hear more after your trip.

Do me (and everyone) a favor when you speak to some of these casino owners and really pressure them about these b.s. waiting periods they put on withdrawls. 4 business days or more is really ridiculous, even more than one day is too much, but I can live with a 24 hour hold time. They should all be as fast as Phoenician, Intercasino, & Global Player when withdrawing to neteller and the like. We know the only reason they do it is because they want us to reverse our cashin and lose it. If they insist on these ridiculous hold times, at least let us flush our cashin if we don't want to wait. Any good casino shouldn't have a problem with this. Thanks in advance! :notworthy

Gotcha covered...this was already in my planned agenda.

Grand Banks

Hello,

Im a new member of this community. This seems to be a very good site for talking with other casino players and their experience with good and evil casinos. Unfortunately I found this site too late, because i become a "victim" of grandbanks too. I read about them at gambling.com . They are listed there as a top twenty casino. So I thought its a good place to play....what a mistake !!!

I deposit 150$, they gave me 100% bonus and i lost all. The next day i found a 20$ bonus in my account with a 20 time playthrough wagering req... I won and after wagering several thousand of bucks, i had 1200$ in my account. I made a withdrawal at 22.03.04 and still waiting for my money. The support and live chat team from grandbanks have every excusion for it but they simply hold my money back. I filled out the pitch a bitch form on this site and hope casinomeister can help me and all other people in this case. If you make a deposit they take your money immediately but if you win something and want it back you can wait an eternity...

Greetings from Germany
Thomas

Wunderschnen guten Tag Thomas (das Wetter ist in der Tat traumhaft :-) ) ,

Im exactely in the same situation at the moment - actually Im waiting even 3 weeks longer than you. You might have read my story a couple of postings above. Id say IN THESE CASES pitching-a-bitch is not going to help you, neither (at least it didnt improve MY and Embalus situation....). Id recommend you to forget about your money. In case they should finally pay you it will be an even nicer surprise ....

Hi Embalu,

GIGSE was great, but unfortunately I couldn't get a hold of any the people that mattered at Playtech. They only had sales people there. I'll be following up with the CEO today.

McClure.. welcome to the world of online gambling! If you play at the recommended casinos, you will have a much better experience. The best thing you did was find this forum. If you don't live in the United States, and like Microgaming casinos, I would highly recommend 32Red Casino. Honest and friendly people.. and you will be paid very quickly without any problems. The Tridente group is also good...and I think they still take U.S. players. They have several casinos... King Neptunes, Tridente Lounge, and another one I think. Good Luck on your new venture! Also.. if Bryan goes to bat for you and settles your problem satisfactorily, show your appreciation by getting him something on his wish list! He's a very powerful influence in the online gaming community!

Ok, thank you! What do you think, how good or bad are my chances?

"We're backed up with withdrawl requests but yours will be processed as quickly as possible"

But sometimes they need to find out something new. Maybe they will tell this:

"Currently we are backed up with excuses but we can assure you that our Excuse Department is working hard on inventing new excuses. If everything goes well, you can expect a new one in a few weeks." :)

In a few days my withdrawals will be half year old. I haven't contacted GB and SH for some months but now I plan to do it. I'm curious what will be their excuse for not paying me for HALF YEAR...

Unfortunately, I've contacted everyone who ought to have the power to do something about this a number of times. And you aren't the only one waiting for a long-ass drawn out payment.

This is also beginning to piss off a few Playtech operators since I have made it clear that I'm not endorsing Playtech operations (sans one - Kiwi) until they (Playtech) get this flaccid situation inder control.

LOL! Good one, Embalu!

These operations seem to be going from bad to worse.

The casino is claiming that you agreed not to go to a faster system to be paid out. Is this true? If so, when was your last communication with them and when did they state specifically when you would be paid. Thanks!

This is not true. Originally I requested bank drafts, but when they told me in December that it would take 8 weeks to process a bank draft and that Moneybookers would be faster, I chose to change the method to Moneybookers. Now both casinos are supposed to pay to Moneybookers (my withdrawal requests are now 26 weeks old).

The last time when I contacted them via live chat was on 1st March. I also sent them an e-mail on 16th March, but they didn't reply to that. I sent the "pitch a bitch" to you at the end of March, and I've not contacted GB and SH since that.

When I last talked to them (on 1st March), they said they are unable to give me any specifics about when will my withdrawals be processed.

I send you the live chat transcriptions via e-mail.

Cash Flow Warning!

Hi Embalu,

I've forwarded the chat sessions to Playtech. Hopefully they will see (like most everyone else) that this casino group has a serious cash flow problem. Yours is not the only complaint of non-payment. It seems as though if anyone is owed over $1000 - the delay process kicks in. I had another complaint over the weekend from someone who has been waiting EIGHT months!

Portal Whore Side Note

Just a side note: If you're a webmaster who is promoting this group, don't be an asshole - drop these guys like a ton of bricks. They don't give a fuck about the players -- promoting these guys indicates to me that you don't give a flying rats ass either.

And players, how about doing all of us a service and contact these asshole portal whores and tell them that they are blood sucking leeches who don't give a damn about the player. (just do a google search for the casino names - portal whores will appear)

Or shall I start naming and shaming?

I think what I've been warning about for so long is now coming to pass with this group. I kept saying that slow pay is the first indicator of cash flow problems, that coupled with endless bonuses for everyone and their pets is the best recipe for disaster. Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost, I only hope playtech does the right thing here and pulls their license, shuts them down, and pays everyone who is owed so that they don't continue robbing Peter to pay Paul. Maybe those who are owed money by these scumbags should write to Playtech and suggest this.

When you talked to the CEO and other Playtech people, what did they say and how did they approach to this? Did they admit at least that this situation is unacceptable?

The sad thing is they don't say much of anything. I've pounded them with some very serious questions -- this being only one of them. The CEO remains aloof - and only one of my two other contacts has been helpful in this.

It seems to me that they have other things to do besides helping you or the casino out.

Do you mean the CEO of GB/BW/SH casinos or of Playtech? If its of Playtech, that's disturbing.
