First 10 license for online gambling in the Netherlands

The first 10 licenses have been announced, from which companies may start offering online gambling in the Netherlands as of October 1, 2021.
I'm only familiar with the first 3 in the list, the rest mean nothing to me at all. There is no casino where I normally play. The only one I'm going to try is holland casino, then at least I can play novomatics again.

Well, same for me..

T.b.h. for some reason every Dutch language/focused Casino i have tried in the past put me off bigtime..some were involved with that Betsift/Sherrif scam, and the offering was always way below par..

I mean that was a decade ago, or more, but you know how that goes. Aftertaste/first experiences etc.
Probably will have to at some point, when the itch needs scratching, but i do really hope to see some of the bigger bookies/Casinos like Unibet, Leo and Casumo will soon have a license.

Also wonder if some Casinos will keep 'Legacy' players, juust stop taking new players? Sometimes that's the case, and there a certain period in which they can start the application process etc.

I mean, it sounds pretty clear cut, but looking at the past we had these 'regulations' imposed a few times, yet barely anything changed.
Will wait and see, but so far i have had zero communication from any Casino...

I saw in a newspaper this names.

Holland Casino and the Nederlandse Loterij, Fair Play Online, GGPoker, Batavia Casino, Bingoal, BetCity.nl, Tombola, Bet365 en LiveScore.
And Batavia Casino is the Dutch name for Rocket Casino operated by Finland's Play North.

Only 10 from 29 applicants have been licensed per October 1st.
Lots of other companies including some big names are not in the first 10.
