With that TS2 clone come out on 5th, I think there will be another update and might introduce more bugs...
I didn't know you were a VIP at the casinos you frequent vinyl.
It's not just the potential for bugs, but the fact that each casino can take up to 2 hours to update that has made me set the 4th as the deadline for getting rid of the poor performers, and keeping over Christmas the better ones. I am STILL getting glitches from the last update, including the fix update released recently by MGS. The worst is that sometimes my desktop icons will vanish during the launch process, and the only way to get them back is to "turn the PC off & on again", as the usual "refresh" function simply refreshes the corrupt desktop, which has the top half of the first row of icons on the left hand of the screen up until a quarter screen wdth, and nothing else but the background showing. I also get repeated "game error 511" during Video Poker play, and when closing a game the entire casino freezes and is marked by Windows as "not responding", and has to be forcibly closed by task manager. I have also found that when closing a casino, the process itself fails to unload, and then REALLY causes havoc the next time I launch any other MGS casino.
It is likely that a major uninstall and clean is needed urgently, and only the casinos that have performed as advertised with their Christmas promos are getting back in during the first wave of reinstallation, as this can take HOURS per casino, and also stops the computer from responding to most other tasks, such as web browsing, or even playing already installed casinos.
The problem with promos that don't work on the day is that the promotional period is only a day, so by the time CS have replied and sorted the issues out, it can be too late to actually play the promo. Most say specifically in their terms "cannot be backdated".
It will be more entertaining just to stick with those that work as intended, rather than face repeated contact with CS, who are probably burdened with other players suffering the same problems, making the getting of what could be an extra £2 off a few free spins into over an hour's work.
I am a VIP at quite a number of casinos, not just 32Red.
These include GNUF, Jackpot Factory, Red Flush and Casino Rewards, but NOT including Casino UK. Other than 32Red, the VIP progress is based on deposits and wagering, both past and present.
My play at Red Flush stopped abruptly in March after a loyalty update screwed things up so that I hardly ever got the promotions, and they became intermittent in arrival, and thus unpredictable. This is despite the fact that nothing was supposedly changed in regard to this. I also found CS dismissive of problems that I reported, and frequently filed my issue into the waste paper basket, despite repeated assurances they would get back to me with a reply. They often had "no record of" a previous issue when I was chasing up a lack of reply.
I reinstalled the software for the recent leaderboard contest, but it repeadedly failed to let me opt in, telling me such BS as my screen name was "already taken by another player", even though it had been confirmed by mailer that it was still reserved to me, and I only had to "confirm", rather than choose a new screen name. Now it's failing AGAIN for their "season's winnings". The mailer says "players must opt in via the lobby", but no such option has existed in the lobby from the start on the 28th, until now.
Casino UK is supposed to present an "advent calendar" of sorts in the lobby, which gives the day's event. The lobby has no such thing, and mailers don't give any indication, nor do they provide a link to any calendar of events.
Fortune Lounge have something along the same lines, but their software actually works, and I can link through to the calendar, see what's on, and opt in & play.
I may try again to sort out the Jackpot Factory issue, because it at least worked yesterday, whereas Red Flush and Casino UK have not only never worked, I cannot even start the ball rolling by opting in.
