Too late, I uninstalled before the update for Immortal Romance.
There WAS a known issue, and this was stated in the lobby.
At first, clicking on "season's winnings" just gave a "page not found" error. Later, it did lead to the promotion page with calendar, but these was no facility to opt in. The lobby shows a promotion centre where players have to enter a promo code, and press "opt in". Fine, except that NO promo code was distributed with the "season's winnings" mailers. However, the rules state that players must opt in via the lobby, so it follows that until this has been achieved, there is no point in attempting to participate.
The promo began on the 28th November, but here on the 7th December the problem has only just begun to be addressed.
Even if opt in worked, there are no proper terms for each offer.
The offer for the 28th was a 100% bonus, but there was NO information as to the maximum amount eligible, so taken at face value, a player depositing £1000 would get a £1000 bonus on that deposit. The same shortcoming is apparent on all the other offers, a percentage bonus "on all deposits" is advertised, but nowhere does it specify up to what amount. The calendar squares are not clickable to reveal more detail, nor are the more detailed terms any clearer, as they still fail to specify a max value.
This could lead to players depositing in the expectation of "20% on all deposits", only to drop 2K and get a £50 bonus when he expected 20% (£400), and think WTF! I have been cheated! That would get the casino uninstalled even if the opt in had worked.
I remeber the Red Flush of old, it was often 20% up to 1500 chips on "all deposits" mid week, and up to 3000 chips at the weekend. Then those "improvements" were announced, and suddenly it was either nothing for weeks on end, or 20% "up to 100 chips". This is hardly an "improvement". I get much better at Casino Rewards.
The previous leaderboard promo was also screwed up, as when I tried to join Red Flush and La Vida accounts it kept telling me my scoreboard name was "used by another player", and would not appreciate that of course it was, I was tring to JOIN La Vida scores to Red Flush, not register a duplicate name.
The last time I contacted CS over a bug in the Summer Holiday slot when used for the free spins incentive, a serious bug at that, support told me THREE times the issue would be forwarded and they would get back to me, and THREE times I found they hadn't even looked at the issue, as though they had assumed I was lying, and told me this just to get rid of me. I even had one look through my playcheck and CONFIRM that at last, he could see there had been something VERY odd going on, yet STILL he promised to forward the issue, and AGAIN it was ignored. Well, it was 4 strikes and you're uninstalled. That was in the spring.
I reinstalled twice more, once for the leaderboard contest, which failed and I uninstalled, and again before Christmas when I got an email telling me I had "unclaimed promotions in my lobby" which after installation turned out to be an outright lie, there was NOTHING, and there is STILL nothing.
I left the casinos in place as it was close to Christmas, but when the Christmas promo AGAIN failed, I decided there and then that I would uninstall both at close of play on the 4th after having one last try at opting in to seasons winnings. As this again failed, out they went, along with another casino who's Christmas promo didn't work. I have now selected the casinos for December, and sat through 2 days of updating them with Immortal Romance.
