Hi all,

Just a small update from my end, as I've had contact with Carl.

The only thing within our processes I will never make a decision in are SOW checks. As a personal management license holder with the UKGC in the field of Marketing, it would also be a conflict of interest if I start making decisions regarding SOW.

I can try to help, assist and advise but in the end the MLRO wants proof that funds used for gambling are clean funds. Sometimes this is proven sufficiently with a payslip or tax return, but sometimes additional documents are required.

I predict we will see this kind of thread at least once a week now going forward. Honestly I feel very lucky to know the state of play regarding UK regulations and restrictions, Why I gave up this hobby a few weeks ago

Its simple, you can refuse to supply anything. Then their MLRO need to take next decision on what to do. Its either to report you or not. Then NCA can take decision on your funds. If you dont want to supply more I would simple inform them the following (Pls note your account will probably be closed).

I don't wish to declare any further documents to you. I wish to terminate my account and have my funds paid out. If you feel you need to report me for any suspicious activity. Please do that immediately. As I know my funds has been earned legit, I expect funds to be paid out within 5 days from your report to NCA.

Please note that I will report this to UKGC, NCA and follow the complaint process if funds are not with me within next 14 days.
That wont make a difference, I emailed their complaints department and they told me they will not approve the deposit without my SOW even if I close my account.

Everyone is saying they cant do that but that's not what All British are telling me.
If someone been through this same process with All British I'd love to hear about it, as I've said previously I done that same thing with Videoslots and they paid me within a week.

It's all setup the wrong way round in my opinion. They should ask for everything from day one and then approve us for whatever limits they set based on what we've given, Until that moment they shouldnt allow deposits of they are going to make us jump through hoops as soon as we request a withdrawal.

Jan's answer is pretty clear -

"I can try to help, assist and advise but in the end the MLRO wants proof that funds used for gambling are clean funds"

It looks like there is a concern over the source of your funds. The burden of proof is on you at this point.

Honestly, this is SO easy to resolve.

I dont think Jan was specifically aiming that at me, theres no concern over my SOW. (And I doubt he would be allowed to disclose something like that on a public forum) I've provided what I need to.

i had the same problem with race casino made a withdrawal then came the sow, now i did not know at the time but if you have an account with all british as well your deposits are accrued together.never threatened me with not paying because i refused to supply bank statements, but then they did so sent bank statement and told them to close my account. heres a thought can we as customers ask for there bank statements to make sure they are liquid with enough cash just in case i hit a big one (not much hope of that since all the reductions on rtp).

I got paid by CasinoCasino and then the account came up saying restricted a few days later; had to ask them why (LandL sites have a terrible habit of not telling you they need info) - to be fair, least the paid the withdrawal before asking the bank statements. Never closed, just lying dormant as i've not intention of sending them it for that level of deposits when other sites seeing x3 that amount, haven't (just whittle sites down until left with one :p)

With respect, you have been given advice on what to do more than once and thats your response every time. Either provide what they are requesting or do as you have been advised, they are literally the only two options you have. Well, or just leave the withdrawal sitting there forever.

If you had read my last replies you would see I've supplied them with a redacted bank statement and am waiting to hear from them, and many people have told me what to do as you've said, but nobody has told me what regulation/rule/guideline they are actually breaching.

Ive got All British telling me they wont pay if I close my account without supplying the SOW they requested and telling me they can do that (theyve supplied references to UKGC regulations) so I'm not that likely to just do what a couple of people on a forum said and risk not getting my £4k cash out.

Sorry for responding to peoples replies, I'll just say nothing in future.

They aren't breaching anything, they are following the money laundering regulations.
I did read your last replies, if they don't accept the redacted bank statement, which is quite possible, then your options are what I said.

This is why I stopped playing online a few years ago. Way too intrusive. If my bank is ok with the money in my account, then it should also be ok for an online casino. I have sent redacted bank statements to casinos, but they have no business knowing if I bought my girlfriend a big black diamond encrusted dildo for her birthday for a million euros or not. That's got nothing to do with a frigging online casino. They're not Interpol or FBI.

Lol, online casinos acting like they're some official government agency or something. Casinos are there to entertain us. Nothing more.

So just to update the thread with what's come back from All British.
I've asked them to close my account and pay me or proceed with AML if they suspect fraudulent activity on my account.
Yet again theyve replied saying they wont pay the money out and it will just sit there as pending until I provide them with what they want. (Theyve had everything including a redacted bank statement) so it seems that no matter what I say or do this money isnt actually mine and they are just going to hold onto it. (I'm sure this isnt legal)

so what are they actually waiting for?

I sent redacted bank statements and theyve asked for them without anything blocked out, I've told them that's not going to happen and refused to supply any further documentation and asked them to close my account.

Depending on how much is at stake, I'd probably send them the unredacted bank statements and then close my account and never have any dealings with them again.

They don't really need to see anything else than the transactions they are involved in. I mean do they really need to know about my Netflix subscription or how much my electric bill is? No they don't.

See this is where casinos shouldn't be the ones doing this, and yes, they do, to be able to see if funds are clean.

@L&L-Jan if this is an EDD then surely you shouldn't be withholding funds?

I've had different emails from customer service and customer complaints, some say its SOW then some say its EDD. All I know is no matter what I've said or asked they simply refuse to pay out no matter what.

What I have a problem with is that they'll gladly accept thousands of euros or pounds or whatever without actually caring at all if it's clean or not. As long as you don't cash out anything you can fund their casino with all the not so clean money in the world and they couldn't give two shits about it.

That's just wrong IMO. A casino should NEVER be able to hold someones money as hostage. They're not any government agency.

I totally agree, had I not pressed make a withdrawal this wouldnt of been raised.
I spent around 12 hours playing after I'd made the deposits with no issue at all. And then 1 hour after I requested the withdrawal it went to pending and I got an email requesting extra things for SOW.

Something else that's funny is they only count my deposits, they dont include my withdrawals when looking at my SOW. I mean how does that make any sense? If I deposit £1000 and win £10k I shouldn't need to explain where the next £9k of deposits comes from surely?
