Am I a fan of 32Red's decision re: pending periods? Absolutely not.
Do I understand why this decision is not popular with a great many people? Absolutely yes.
Am I personally negatively affected by this change? No. Because I refuse point-blank to reverse. It's difficult enough to win without giving
32Red (or indeed any casino) a second chance to beat you on the same deposit. I've done that many times by simply not going to the cage
in the first place when I had "won enough" but continued playing. But once I do go to the cage, that's it. Done deal, no reversal.
I understand that people get tempted and then give in to that temptation. And then sadly end up regretting it. But if you are really
that "desperate" to play, there is one very simple solution....just make a deposit somewhere else. Or even (if you really have to) make
another deposit at 32Red. And make sure that you deliberately ignore their "suggestion" that you reverse your withdrawal. And proceed
with the deposit. For an amount that is dwarfed by the amount you have as a pending withdrawal. What is the f**king point in requesting
a cashout for let's say £300 and then reversing it and losing the lot when you could so easily make a deposit for a third or a sixth or even
a twelfth of that with a bonus and just "start over", in the safe knowledge that the £300 will eventually reach your e-wallet/bank account?
Don't get me wrong, I do sympathise with those who give in to that temptation to reverse only to end up losing their whole withdrawal.
It must totally suck. That's why I refuse to do it. I don't want to risk feeling like that. Like I've just shot myself in the foot.
But part of me (and this is probably going to make me very unpopular here) really does NOT want to sympathise. You KNOW EXACTLY WHY
this pending period BS exists. It's a trap. It's a test of your resolve. And some of you STILL CHOOSE to play right into their hands by walking
right into the trap and reversing. For goodness sake, just be stubborn, dig your f**king heels in people. Make a smart decision. Do whatever it
takes to avoid reversing, avoid losing all of the reversed winnings and avoid feeling bitter towards 32Red about it. Because you can be sure
about one thing...your reversal, your loss of the reversed money and your bitterness won't make them change their mind. If anything, it
will encourage them to stand by that decision. It is pointless "blaming" 32Red for your reversal, just because they provide a facility that enables it.
At the end of the day, the decision to reverse lies with the player. And if they do so and end up losing, they really only have THEMSELVES to blame.
Until you send out a clear message to them that this "business tactic" will not work in their favour, that it will end up losing them business,
then this pending period BS is absolutely 100% here to stay. They have read all the threads, they have not had a re-think. This decision is
final and the only thing that will make them review it/have a rethink on it will be a significant loss in players, a significant (it might have
to be near 100%) reduction in reversals and a significant drop in their bottom line.
The ball is in your court people. Be smarter with your choices.
