Had a e-mail from Euro Viking Casino this afternoon (a Netkan brand) bragging about their latest big winner. Lee H from Yorkshire won £38,080 from a 50p bet on Dead or Alive which works out as 76,160x

I double checked with support and they said it was correct. Is that even possible unless he was using the old flash version with lower bet lines / higher coin size?

True or not, I bet he is annoyed at the terms and conditions!

The following withdrawal request conditions apply in every case. Minimum withdrawal is £20, except in the case of a final withdrawal to close your account. Withdrawal requests are limited to one per day up to £2,000 and a monthly limit of £5,000.

Should be paid in full by some point in 2018 :D

BS because we worked this out once - if you get one wild line first spin, 5 more on the next and have a full screen after 3 spins ON TOP OF a 5-scatter initial trigger you'd get about 55k x bet. They're full of shit. I can't be arsed to hook the thread out, but it's there if you look.

I reckon the lying twats have failed to mention is was actually a £4.50 bet at 50p PER LINE in which case the player would still have needed over 16,900x bet which surpasses the best ever image or video by around 6000x . So Nektan need to provide a screenie or play log to prove this.

These casinos moan about twat affiliates but they must think we're as green as the grass to swallow this bollocks that they have invented. It reminds me of the student who turned 100 quid into 80k on, of all things, St*rb*rst. That crap was also mentioned here in another thread.

I want somebody to e-mail them and threaten to complain to the ASA/UKGC unless:

    1. They show a verified play log from Netent.
    2. They update this bullshit to point out what Nicola said, the player wouldn't be paid under their current terms and conditions for 14 months, final instalment Hallow'een 2018....

All The Nektan sites have the old flash version.

But whether he'll get paid AT ALL, is another matter....

In the space of a couple of weeks I got a >3000x wildline, 5 scatters, a few smaller wins and then another 5 scatters, at a couple of Nektan casinos.
After requesting a withdrawal from the last 5 scatters. which was only for £700. I got an email....

Your account (and all Nektan Casino accounts associated to you) has been suspended pending an EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) review.

The withdrawal hasn't been processed and Apparently I'll get a decision within 28 days

I was going to start a thread, but was waiting to see just how long the decision took and what the outcome was

AKA a hidden FU term they can use - 28 days giving them chance to trawl their own T&C's with an ultra fine tooth comb whilst comparing it with every interpretation possible in the dictionary

Another reason and yet more reassurance why I wouldn't give this group the steam off my piss!

The NetEnt game history is actually shown here xxx.eurovikingcasino.com/game/dead-or-alive/

    It was a single wildline 50p coin - level 4 - 9 lines. which is 0.5x4x9= £18 stake

So the win was won for £18, not 50 frigging pence! So a mere 2116x, a relatively poor return for a DoA wildline feature.

False and misleading advertising - oh well, can't blame an affiliate this time!

Surely this must get a special CM award for the most illiterate and badly-constructed ad/flyer by any casino?:eek2:

Both e-mails had no affiliate links, so they were direct from the casino.

They really are fucking morons. Even now they've messed it up - somebody tell them it wasn't '50p a line' but 2 PISSING QUID A LINE!!!!!!!!!

Did you forward them my 'alternative' flyer? :D:D

Re. blaming somebody else - so they're still lying out of their arses.

If it wasn't them, then how come the 2 errors in the top line 'ALive' (capital L) and 'give' (instead of gave) are still there??? QED

The glaring mistake I spotted straight away was Yourshire, where the fuck is that? I suppose they make a fine Yourshire pudding there as well?
as if their piss poor x2 max cashout on the welcome bonuses isn't bad enough, it's littered with bad grammar and misleading advertising.
Can't wait to see their poster when someone hits the big one on Boobnanza by Rig Crime Vaping.

Hey everyone i have managed to find my way to this site after a load of Google searches today. I am the person who actually had this win with this casino believe it or not.

I have been searching around as i have also received the same response that @brianmon has mentioned above following this win. Obviously this is a crazy amount of money that i was very excited to have won but now i'm just worried that they have a team of people working to try avoid paying this out. Any advice is very welcome?

    Thanks
    Lee

I can't believe you haven't heard of Yourshire!

A poor attempt from the casino to advertise my win but what is even more crazy is that this email got sent after they suspended my account. It has been handled terribly which makes me more worried

Good luck mate. I'm not feeling particularly confident about Nektan's decision.

But after speaking to my solicitor and the UKGC. I am fairly confident with the decision that IBAS will make, should I need to submit a complaint to them.
A complaint I've already written out. So I don't forget any details, should they drag it out the full 28 days.

I must say, I was very surprised when a company like Nektan added 'Dead or Alive' recently. They tend to favour the low-medium variance games.
I'd even go so far as saying, they've added it without fully understanding the potentially huge wins it's capable of.

Yep good luck to you too then pal

I have never had to deal with UKGC or IBAS therefore if it comes to that could i message you for some advice? I'm a bit happier that it wasn't just me that received this but the fact you have to go through this after a fair win is crazy. What a let down after the excitement of finally hitting a big win on DoA! I agree it was a strange move for them but surely everyone in the industry must know of the potential in DoA by now lol

I'm sure if i'd have lost the same amount my account wouldn't be suspended to be reviewed.

Plus, of course, there's the newspapers. The Guardian seems to be rather keen on running gambling articles at the moment.
On a win like yours, bad publicity in the papers. Would more than counteract any good publicity they've got from that misspelt, inaccurate email they circulated.
