Hi Forum

After years of never properly hitting cash out ( been up a good many times only to lose it, or reverse withdrawals) I don't want to be the stupid gambler any more, and like to lose less.

My question is when / how do you decide to cash out? I'm a low roller (deposit usually £25 - £50, sometimes £75 - £100) and wonder if I'd be better off deciding to cash out if I double my deposit.

How do you decide?

For me it really depends on what I have in my gambling budget. If I'm getting low on funds I will sometimes cash out when I've made 5x my deposit, but otherwise I go for 10x or more. I usually don't bother withdrawing less than $200 though. Mind you, I don't cash out as frequently as I should either  so maybe I'm not the best person to give advice.

I don't think I've ever cashed out 5x my deposit, let alone more! Kudos to all those who do. At the back of my mind I think I always want to win a couple of hundred £, never seem to manage it though so is why I don't cashout much. I played £100 a couple of weeks back at guts, betat and Leovegas. I lost £25 at guts, lost £50 at BETAT but got £5 free chip next day and cashed out £50, then deposited £75 to Leovegas and got up to £200 so I cashed out £125 and lost the rest. So £25 up after a few days play, best I've done in a while, which seems quite paltry compared to others, but it's when you chase bigger and bigger wins then losing is more probable.

My usual bets are 30p - 90p, sometimes £1.20 and £1.50 so I can't expect to really win big. Maybe I'll just play DOA and BDBA on low spins and see if I can hit those good wins I see in the screenshots.

BTW - cool cashback promo at BETAT today - £50 cashback on net losses of £50 with only x15 wagering. Shame i can't buy a voucher until Jan 2nd. :)

I turned £10 into £2500 a long time ago. I cashed the full amount out too! However, if you constantly hope to make winnings like that before cashing out then quite frankly you're not likely to ever make a cash out. I like to go for treble my deposit. It feels more satisfying to me than a simple double up. Nice cash out without being too greedy then! :)

Awesome! Mega congrats.

Yeah i think you're right, always chasing big wins will see me lose 99% of the time. Treble sounds good. Thanks.

I got myself into a lot of trouble chasing wins in the past, emptying my bank, using rent money etc so now I don't have a debit / credit card or internet banking and just buy a Ukash voucher when I've sapare money so I can't immediately reload if the compulsion takes me after a lose. It works for me. £50 - £100 every so often does me, I can't expect to win big but cashing anything out feels nice.

Since you're using Ukash, I recommend Next and Casinoluck. They do Ukash withdrawals up to 250, if you're verified you can just hit cashout and go to livechat, they'll send a voucher in email within minutes on a quiet day (if you want to keep that money in gambling budget, that is).

Regarding the cashout question...rarely :D

I know that if I'm up a hundred euro, I would deposit it elsewhere anyway, so I just keep playing where I am. If I manage to hit something better,
then I would just withdraw, double my next weeks gambling budget and give the rest to missus.

My point is, I deposit money I don't need and I don't gamble more so I don't rely on a few hundreds I could have withdrawn, but didn't.

But that's just me, I know that hitting the WD button after making some profit is a sensible thing to do (and something I need to do a lot more next year).

Sounds like the best way to do it - only deposit money you won't miss, and enjoy playing it unless you decide it's big enough to take out and splash :)

I've never been sure how cashing out Ukash works. When it's a casino I've not played at I load up Neteller first (3% fee) so that I can withdraw to Neteller if I wish. That sounds interesting with Next and casinoLuck.
Can you just use the voucher they send you like one you've just bought in the shop? What happens if it's over £250.

Thanks for the info

It's a very basic email with the code, value and use by date. It's great for record keeping, because I'd say that email can work as a "proof of purchase",
should any casino you use it at ask for it. There is a fee btw, £2.75 fixed, but one WD a week is free.

That 250 max is the same as max Ukash value, so it is possible you can make more transactions, spread a grand over four withdrawals for example.
But don't take my word for it, I just think that it makes sense. Check with support.

What I do when I am cashing out is asking for a WD to my debit card and a little bit on the side as a voucher, at the ready ;)

2 months ago I've managed to turn 10 free spins in one of the MG casinos to €8000 due to mistake on my part. I've got €100 from the FS and I started to wager them. Went to €1000 when I got confirmation from support of the casino that until I made deposit all money on my account is bonus money. So I've made €10 deposit and turned €1000 to €8000 because I had to wager the bonus of €1000 by 150 times. It was miracle that I did it.

But the moral is I've lost most of it due to withdraw limits at the casino. The limits were €1500/week and €3000/month. You can imagine what has happened after my first withdraw request.

Still not bad to get €1500 out of €10. But I will never sign up or play in casino with such limits.

Withdraw when you are up, do go too much down, set up limit (I try to repeat this to myself over and over again)

Normally i think about 200€ withdrawal is already Ok to withdraw. Of course it depents how much i have depositted and what are my expectations of session. More i deposit more i expect to get out even i know odds are against it all.

Someone wrote here he/she get lucky with first deposit. Well that happened to mee too last week witch brand new casino. Made my first deposit to new casino 25€ + 25€ welcome bonus ending to cash out 3600€ wagering complete etc etc.. This was my second time since 2009 while i join new casino i get extremely lucky. But yeah, normally i would say i withdraw 200+, depents on the situation.
