How do bonus abusers abuse your bonuses?
Example : Deposit $ 500 and get a 300% slots bonus. Lose $ 2000 quickly and deliberately. Total loss as per casino = $ 2000. Odds would dictate it is time to win a bit. Deposit $ 1000 or more and don't take a bonus and quickly gain on the casino and get your balance as high as possible before quickly withdrawing. This term is in place to discourage this type of abusive behavior.
Very simple explanation - CHEATING SOFTWARE, "Fruit Machine" style.
If the games were NOT random, but percentage stabilised, like a Fruit machine, this tactic would most certainly work, and work well. In this case, the total "force" on the machine would be $2000, but would have cost only $500. A further deposit with no bonus, but then going WITH the software, and not trying to lose, would mean the percentage stabiliser kicks in, and returns 90% or so of the forced loss earlier, depending on the amount paid on the game.
If the games ARE random, as would be expected of a genuine casino, this excuse is a load of BS, and probably hides the REAL reason behind the rule, which is to ensure players are ALWAYS bound by a WR and max cashout, meaning all big wins will NEVER have to be paid out, and will revert to the house.
As a long term UK Fruit Machine player, I can assure this rogue outfit that this term will NOT protect them from "bonus abuse" through "forcing" their percentage stabilised games, provided it is done properly, and deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and calculations are done correctly.
For example, if you inadvertently exceed the max cashout, you would simply "force" the game again (lose deliberately), until you had the max cashout as your balance, which you would withdraw.
Perhaps I should sign up as "vinylweatherman" and try this, and see if I get paid
