What's going on at Atlantic Lounge?

I wonder if "Jamie" tried to get into the server room without his ID and had an unfortunate run-in with the armed guards?

Our servers are located in highly secured rooms under 24-hour armed surveillance, and can only be accessed by authorized government personnel and licensed staff members.

That is too funny! Even funnier as I have discovered that the "outstanding" customer support team consists of 5 people who answer emails and phone calls from their homes. When I spoke to Sarah, I heard a cat meowing. I asked he if her cat needed attention, and she said yes. When I spoke to Tom on Friday, his dog was barking. Also, an FYI to anyone trying to access this cracker jack support team. They do not respond prior to 9:00am EST. Must be tending to the cat and dog!

Here is a transcript of my latest chat today with Sarah:
Welcome and thanks for reaching us! An operator will be with you shortly. Feel free to browse our website for GREAT PROMOS & OFFERS! Thank you for waiting.
You are now chatting with Mary.
Mary: Hi there! How may I help you?
patty: I am assuming that Jamie St John has been located as there is a crawler at the casino announcing the "Manic Monday" promotions which Tom Davis informed me on Friday that only Jamie could do. When can I expect my money?
patty: Mary....are you still there?
Mary: I dont know about pay outs please email Tom
Mary: he is taking care of any related with withdrawals
An unexpected error disconnected the chat session. Please contact us again if you still require assistance.

Unexpected error?

A polite way of saying "The operator has closed the session because you're too nosy. Go away!"

I really really hope you get your money...

I know all of these posts is looking like I have no life, but I really do get beyond upset when I am ripped off.

The latest....I called Atlantic Lounge and of course spoke to Mary, as they only have 1 rep at a time to answer chats and phone calls. She acted as if she knew nothing of the entire Atlantic Lounge debachle until I refreshed her menory that we had spoken at least 5 times last week and did no less than 4 live chats. Her memory returned when I told her I had spoken to Tom on Fri. and he had called from a 404 area code, the same area code listed for RTG. She said that when Tom returns to the ofice, she would have him call me. Not holding my breath.

I hope these posts are appropriate. I just feel that everyone should know the sequence of events with this casino as they unfold.

I certainly appreciate the updates - I guess I should attempt chat again as well - maybe if we bombard them, something will happen...but I'm not holding my breath either.

I can't even get them to approve my member verification forms...never mind withdraw my money. I've never seen a casino that would decline withdrawal requests if you didn't have paperwork on file. I know that some of them hold the withdrawal payment until they have the paperwork but this is a first for me. This is so tiresome - I'm almost tempted to forget the whole thing except that I know that's what they want us to do...

Sorry for the small derail but I just ran into this not long ago at an RTG casino. Somehow my WD was cancelled and put back into my account because they didn't have my documents...even though I was still in the process of sending them.

Once I submitted my documents, I requested the WD again and it went through fine.

Deb....Please try chat again and try calling. They want us to get tired and forget they owe us money. I for one will attempt anything to not let this casino get away with this.

I completely understand that they want to hold your withdrawal, but I bet once they got your documents it didn't take weeks to get them approved. I started sending my documents to them on August 29 - some of the emails didn't bounce back so I know they got them.

By comparison, I won $200 at iNetBet last night and asked for a wire transfer at 11:00 pm my time - by 2:19 am my time, it was approved and processed. I just hate only having one or two casinos to play at, which was why I tried Atlantic Lounge.

Home-based Support staff with no access to information; disappearing owners; mysterious "managers" who are out of touch in every sense of the phrase and slowpays....boy, Atlantic Lounge really does sound like a sleek professional organisation that players should be lining up to use....not.

Carry on posting your pursuit, phpatty - it makes fascinating reading (like watching a slomo train crash) and it will serve to warn others of the treatment they can expect from this dump.

I'm surprised that RTG cares so little for its reputation that it is apparently comfortable having this sort of operation (and its Support services) on its roll of licensees.

 Sort of reminds me of when IGS had given one of their "operating licenses" to a nineteen-year-old college girl.

I would like to carry on my pursuit, but it is looking fruitless. I did call Jamie yesterday, and his phone is still on. He must still be alive and at least paying his phone bill. I am holding little hope of ever seeing my $1450.00. Unfortunately, for US players, we have so few choices that we end up with these horrible RTG casinos. My experience with Microgaming for 8 years was very positive. I guess I was a fool to think this good experience could last.
Below is an email that Jamie sent me on August 9th (he called me on my birthday as well) His personal phone # is contained in it. If anyone else is or will experience this shameful treatment from this organization, please call him personally. He won't answer, but perhaps we can inconvenience him a bit by leaving messages.

Hi Patricia

It was great talking to you again earlier and as I mentioned Patricia, please feel free to call me at anytime if you need me. My number in the US is +19543764575 and hopefully Ill be around, if not please leave a message and Ill get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for all your support and a final Happy Birthday for 2007.

Interesting...I just googled this guy's name and found:

Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

This is apparently the parent company of Atlantic Lounge, as well as a "Soon to be launched" Sands Avenue casino. Click on "Contact", and you'll get an address and phone number of an office in the UK. I seriously doubt the number he gave you is his actual HOME/Office number. Did you know with VoIP service, you can get a phone number in whichever area code you wish? This makes it nice if you want to hide your true location.

The affiliate program that Atlantic Lounge uses is located at:

It's a long shot, but maybe they have an idea of how to get in touch with him. I'm sure if he's not paying players, affiliates aren't getting paid as well.

I did email trueearnings and Blue Star last week. Both emails bounced. Upon investigation, the contact at Blue Star is Jamie St. John. I tried calling both blue star and trueearnings. Neither phone number worked. I cannot believe he is launching another casino. Sands Avenue casino should be rogued before it is launched. I did email Jamie again this morning. I am pretty much done as it is not worth the $1450 to deal with this type of criminal behavior. I fear he has won. I have copied my email to him below. Thankyou everyone for your help.

Hello Jamie,

I did leave you a voice message yesterday, and I am following up with an email. After 2 weeks of pursuing this money that you owe me, I now realize that this payment is entirely up to your whim. US players are now left with so few choices as far as online gaming is concerned. I felt comfortable that I was one of the lucky ones and found a casino where the owner had integrity. Your casino was even listed on sites, such as Casinomeister as one of the better of the RTG casinos. I enjoyed speaking with you regarding past issues and I was very impressed on how you immediately stepped in and fixed them.

Everything broke down once we entered September. I understand how you had issues trying to get money into US accounts. I offered alternatives to you such as money grams and or FedEx a bank check. This was obviously not a viable solution. Your casino is still opened for deposits. Will no one ever get a payout?

I spoke, at length with Tom Davis on Friday. He was adamant that you are missing and you are the only brand he works with who elected to handle your own finances. He said had I experienced this sort of issue with another brand, he could issue the payout. He also suggested that you have until months end to fix this or your contract will be terminated. Tom suggested that I contact RTG as well. I did do that, but of course, have heard nothing back. Tom still felt positive that I would receive my money. I do not know where his confidence comes from as you are supposedly AWOL.

At this point, there are several of your loyal customers who are waiting for you to resurface and payout. The forums are buzzing with your blatant disregard for your obligations to your customers. You have been blacklisted, rogued and every other negative instance one in your position can occur. Ultimately, I am sure you will stay in business, and continue to rip off people. There are no regulations in this shady industry. I guess I elected to jump into this insanity at my own risk. I now know I need to find another way to spend my entertainment dollars.

I will say this, if you email me back a reasonable response as to why all of this has happened, and pay me the money you owe me, I will go to every forum and post the fact that you personally took the reins and fixed this.

Should you make the choice to do nothing about this, there is obviously nothing I can do. I cant believe that the money you owe me will make or break you.

Hopefully, I will hear back from you.

Best regards,

Patty

I nominate Atlantic Lounge for the "Most Unprofessionally Run Casino of 2007" prize. It is a hotly contested award, but I think Atlantic Lounge has a good chance of winning it.

I second the nomination. Is there anything reasonible that can be done to blacklist the soon to launch Sands Avenue Casino? Same owner, same problems will surface!

Good sleuthing - btw this appeared on CAP a few days ago, and as the Professor is a regular here he may be able to tax "Natalie" with this and perhaps come up with more information?

QUOTE:

Our operations manager Natalie knows the owner of Atlantic Lounge and has been in touch with him. Apparently he is traveling from South Africa to Costa Rica (where Natalie is based).

Natalie told me she was going to try to meet with him and find out the status of the casino and their affiliate program True Earnings.

The private rumblings I am hearing is that there are financial issues with Atlantic Lounge and it may be in the process of being sold to new owners based in Costa Rica. UNQUOTE

If this is indeed true, which I do believe it, then why would Jamie provoke such unrest when he is trying to unload this casino? He certainly is a piece of work. BTW: Casino is still up and running, taking in money I presume.

A Big Thumbs Up To Jinnia

Would the real Jamie St. John please stand up?

And one final piece. Jinnia checked the playersecurity@atlanticloungecasino.com email addy on the website..the mail server exchange is mail.growthonlineglobal.com

I'd say it's a pretty fair bet that Jamie St. John is in fact Jamie Lindsay-Bowman? And the one physical address in SA is only a P.O. box, but maybe something can be done with that London address?

Thanks again Jinnia!!

That address looks residential in google earth (seldom right on the spot) but St. John may have adopted that name as s/he is a Lord's Cricket fan (st john's wood road in paddington goes right by the cricket field.) for whatever my sleuthing is worth. Nice work jinnia and pina:thumbsup:

Jinna Pina and Logo....You are awesome! I did get a payout from Jamie back in June in my bank account and it was from his personal account. I just checked my bank account, and Jamie is in fact Jamie Lindsay Bowman. I can't believe I didn't do this already.

The question is, now what to do with this information? If I get my $1450, I need to take you guys out for a drink! Let me know if you ever make it to NYC.

I just checked my bank account, and Jamie is in fact Jamie Lindsay Bowman.

Casino people and their stupid pseudonyms. Of course, I'm sure they figure that when they take the money and run...having used some idiotic fake name will make it impossible for anyone to pursue the matter.

Busted Jamie. I'm hoping this makes it a whole lot easier to track the guy down.
