What's going on at Atlantic Lounge?

I emailed the casino a little while ago - anticipating a response. At least the emails aren't bouncing.

I sent to the emails listed on the website this morning and all were returned "not accepted by server" I couldn't get any response from the live chat service either.

CASINO CAUTION

M.I.A. Jamie St. John of Atlantic Lounge Casino.com

Where is "Jamie St. John", the alleged owner of the RealTime Gaming-powered Atlantic Lounge Casino.com?

That's the question a growing number of frustrated and unpaid online gamblers are asking, and the portents are not good.

First came the typical online-casino-in-negative-cash-flow-situation excuses:

"It's not our fault, it's the processor"

"Your payment has been processed and is on the way"

"Can we have your ID documents again?"

"US legal difficulties are slowing down payments"

Then things take a more ominous turn:

"The manager is away on business and has to approve your payment"

Then emails are simply ignored, and live chat becomes difficult to access.

Followed by:

"We're only the outsourced Support Centre, and the owner has a seperate system for paying his players. This is not our responsibility"

Now it transpires that players who were paid in the past received their checks from a private and personal banking account....and the person behind that bank account, who is presumably the owner, is "Missing In Action."

The customer service centre has told some players that Jamie St. John's contract will be closed unless he is in contact by the end of September. Unfortunately that is too late for those who have money tied up somewhere in Jamie's system. And now emails to the addresses on the website are bouncing.....

Still no Jamie

I called again today. I have been told for 3 days now that Tom Davis from this alleged support facility would call me. He hasn't. Jamie is still AWOL. I asked Sarah if I would ever get my money. Her reply was of course you will, we just don't know when:icon_evil. I suggested that this support site close the deposit option at AL with a crawler stating that "due to technical issues, no deposits can be accepted at this time and payouts are delayed. No response!

Absolutley rogue to accept deposits without ability to pay out.

We need regulations and casinos need accountability... this borders on the criminal.

Another thing I find odd is if Tom Davis is the manager yet he works for this customer support center then how is he able to approve withdrawals? A few months ago I had a small withdrawal request in...$400....and I contacted customer support on how to withdraw it considering their options are limited for me in the US. I believe it was Steve who told me to send an email to Tom Davis and he would reply with instructions on how to withdraw my money. Well I waited for about 4 days and still hadnt heard a word. So I said to heck with it and played it....the very next morning I had an email from Tom asking for my verification documents. I shouldve took the hint then but I hadnt read anything on any forums about them so I thought they were ok.

Taking deposits when the operator knows there is insufficient cash available to pay everyone out in a timeous manner is to my mind blatantly fraudulent, but unfortunately it's happened before as operators pull the "rob Peter to pay Paul" stunt in the hopes of staying alive.

It never works - the situation just becomes more precarious as the occasional above average win helps keep them in the red until they finally collapse. When that happens, I wouldn't anticipate any help from RTG as the software provider - since moving to Costa Rica under allegedly new ownership, RTG's preparedness to get involved or even communicate has declined imo.

"Tom Davis" is probably just an alias, and the man is clearly not too professional in ignoring legitimate emails and effectively being a party to this fraudulent behaviour on players - outsourced support or not.

Continuing to take deposits under these circumstances doesn't say much for the integrity of either him or his Support company imo.

What country does he live in?

Probably one that wouldn't lift a hand to file fraud charges against him...

I always have been suspicious of them, the bonuses were just a little too good to be true. I used to play there before the big US crackdown but haven't played there since.......and I'm glad of that.

I've been robbed, too....

I have tried to w/d winnings since Sept 6th.......to no avail.
I made over $300 purchases at the casino and finally had a little lucky run and now have $500 in my acct that I may never recieve.
I have affiliate Casino Crush looking into the matter.

It just keeps getng better (or worse)

Tom Davis did finally call me on Friday. Before I answered, I checked caller ID and thought it was my sister who lives in Atlanta GA, USA. Her area code is 404 as was this one. It was Tom Davis calling from a 404 area code. He sidestepped every issue. I was informed that Jamie lives in South Africa, and this support facility is in Costa Rica. No one can find Jamie, and (his exact words) he may be dead or kidnapped. I asked some relevant questions as to why are deposits still being accepted. Answer: They can not go directly into the casino to stop this under contract. Only Jamie can. Next question: Who does the crawlers annuncing the daily prmotions. He said Jamie or one of his "marketing people" There have been no crawlers for over a week with the exception of Weds. Sept. 18. Must be Jamie is still alive. I think Tom was getting tired of my persistance, so he suggested I send an email to RTG. He intimated that when there have been previous issues, RTG found the casino owners.

This is where it gets real interesting. I went to the RTG website and after much investigation, I found that the Corporate Offices are located in Atlanta GA area code 404. I did send them an email. Casinomeister is also a link on that site which you may want to get off of there. The email did not get bounced back.

I am now feeling like this is beyond criminal. What I would like everyone who sees this who has a payout pending with any RTG casino, to email RTG in Atlanta. Much can be done in numbers.

Oh yes, Tom also informed me that there were only 8 of us who are waiting for payouts. He also said that unbelievably, no one else has asked for a withdrawal since all of this started. He also said the another lady and myself were the only people being so impatient and persistant.

:what:

I don't think that waiting for over a month for a response to even one email is being impatient. I was told by Support to write to Tom Davis and he never bothered to answer. This whole thing about Jamie being dead or kidnapped is a crock - do they really expect us to believe this? It's not even my $300 at this point - it's the principle of the thing - the least they could do is tell us the truth. How do we write to RTG? I went to the web site and there's not much there.

I found that the Corporate Offices are located in Atlanta GA area code 404.

Not anymore Patty. As far as I know, they have moved to Costa Rica..quite awhile back.

Regardless, this whole situation is a total disgrace to online gaming and yet another nail in RTG's coffin.

If you go to the actual website, you can only access the sales page. i dug a bit deeper to get this information. The email I sent to them The email I sent to info@realtimegaming.com, did not bounce. I have to think that there is some affiliation with Atlanta due to the fact that "Tom Davis" came up on my caller id with a 404 area code. They also have 4 attorneys listed as links on their site as well. This is so crazy and I feel so violated. I will more than likely never gamble online again. At least with land casinos you ave an instant advocate. Tom Davis phone # from caller id is: 404.893.5511. It did come up as unknown name.

Wow, that's weird... this is the only page I've had come up for months and I clicked the link you posted here... I wonder if the old page is in your cache?

Same here. I clicked on the link they provided and got the same webpage as you did.

Ditto here Lojo and Heather, I get the exact same page as you guys..with nothing more than that useless HastingsBV email at the bottom. Patty, try cleaning out your cache and then type the URL again into your address bar. RTG did indeed used to be located in Atlanta, but moved to Costa Rica somewhere around the time that things got real sticky in the U.S.....I think after Carruthers got arrested, but before the Neteller dudes got nabbed. I know the info is here somewhere if you wanna search for it.

As for the 404 area code, maybe good ole Tom still has a cell # with that area code, lol. Or...maybe he still lives in the States, I have no idea. All I know is that the corporate offices are no longer located in the U.S.

or the corporate offices could be with a Mohawk named Morris. I guess we will all keep guessing:confused::D

It seems the last time the page was updated was January 5th Here's the history of the page

The CasinoMeister has the best abilities to help with this... but even he gets little from the RTG people. You've already PaB so there might not be anything more you can do at this point but wait. I suppose if he took the money and ran you are SOL... I sure hope not. This is so sad to see. We're all wishing you the very best of fortune, but when an RTG casino goes bad, there's really nothing to be done.

RTG has been LONG GONE from Atlanta for quite some time..

They have been literally "hiding out" in Curacao since their hasty departure, and the Hastings BV front, is little more than a thinly veiled placeholder to suggest some form of legitimacy.

DON'T BELIEVE IT!

Ever since McMain (the former RTG CEO) and his cronies started facing a litany of complaints - and even some lawsuits - from a slew of players and vendors, they have been in hiding - and on the run.

First to go was their highly suspect "Montana Overseas Disputes" forum. Then they started boycotting/going AWOL at all of the industry trade shows (like ICE)...

Finally when the heat became too intense in the US, they bolted for the sunny shores of Curacao.

Nobody has been able to contact the "powers that be" at RTG ever since...and it's going on 9 months now, since they hid under their rocks...

Yup they seemed to have pulled quite the vanishing act...and even though many folks have been trying to flesh them out, they remain elusive.....

Even bearing in mind that "Tom Davis" is apparently part of the "outsourced Support" for Jamie St John's poor excuse for an online gambling casino, this is very interesting information, phpatty.

The fact that he is calling from Atlanta, where RTG was formerly based, raises all sorts of interesting possibilities imo.

Is there any chance of your retrieving his number so that we can try and pin down a person rather than a possibly BS name? Maybe on your phone records?

Despite all the assurances from various individuals that RTG has been sold and has moved to Costa Rica we have (unusually) seen no corporate statements of confirmation of this from the company, and that continues to niggle at my suspicions that these people are not being entirely upfront on their status, management structure and location.

There's something not right here, and the odour coming from it is growing. The inability of players to connect with a supposedly responsible software provider only adds to the suspicion.

I doubt that Jamie is using his real name.

As to this "kidnapped and maybe killed" Jamie - I'm sure that would have received some media coverage even in South Africa (it hasn't), and "Tom Davis" should perhaps remember that the arm of the player community, and its ability to uncover information, extends globally.

Again, the Davis explanation for events leaves much to be desired and smacks of being economical with the truth. The more one reads on Atlantic Lounge Casino, the more in extremis its behaviour appears to be.

Just to cover the bases, I've emailed Hastings to see what happens on that front over this mess.

...
It's really not so dramatic. RTG has ALWAYS been slow at chasing down rogue operators. You just had to know the right people there to fix things when things were broken. Up to about a year ago things weren't all that bad (except for a handful of issues), but when the US crap laws were passed last October, things got pretty bad over there in RTG-land.

I wouldn't say they are on the run. They are still approachable. McMain is still The CEO as far as I know, and I'll probably be seeing them in Barcelona next week. Again, I will present a list of complaints and see what can be done.

@ phpatty - the guys is probably pulling your strings with the comment JAmie might be dead blah blah blah...no manager/operator in his right mind would ever say something as stupid as that. They ought to be double rogued for saying stupid shit.

She did: Tom Davis phone # from caller id is: 404.893.5511

I checked Google - nothing.

More info on Atlantic Lounge

I checked the casino (AL) tis morning, and they now have the crawler going again with their "Manic Monday" promotions. As I stated in an earlier post, the crawler has not been runing since this mess started, with the exception of last Wednesday. Tom Davis told me that only Jamie and/or his marketing team can run this crawler. Has jamie been resurected? This may be a good time for all of us waiting for money from this Rogue casino to inundate customer support with calls and emails. That is my plan for the day.
I am also putting my faith in Casinomeister that he will have some success in Barcalona I did just try the 404 # that Tom used on friday, and it has been disconnected. I wish I had tried it right back on Friday after he called me.
I am not used to dealing with such criminal activity
