WagerWorks, Wager Logic, MG, PlayTech... Screw You Too!

I'm a really upset with how this industry is treating us U.S. players.

I recently viewed CM's Youtube video regarding "when MG will allow
U.S. players to play again", and his response was, "just move". Bullshit!

This is not an option. I have residency here, a home, a job and
a life. A freakin' online casino should be bending their ass backwards
and rejoicing at members joining and spending our money at their casinos.
This is why they exist... To make money. WTF!

Is WagerWorks, Wager Logic, MG & PlayTech that ignorant and brainless
that they couldn't come up with a loop-hole and a way for U.S. players
to enjoy their slots? Are they that much afraid of U.S. players playing
and giving them our money that they have to resort to treating us like
some sort of plagued second class citizens? Like our U.S. dollars have
anthrax attached to it.

I want to play the King Kong slot. I want to enjoy Davinci Diamonds
and the Fantastic 4.

I'm sick of T-Rex, Moolah and Scary Rich. DAMMIT!

If I had the head honchos of WagerWorks, Wager Logic, MG & PlayTech
in-front of me, I'd smack all 4 of them like if I was one of the 3 stooges.

It's not the industry - it's your draconian government.
I'm certain all those softwares would LOVE to be able to take American players - but breaking the law can have serious consequences. We've already seen $1,000,000's in seized player funds - no one wants any more of that. :(

Your da boss, you can convince these guys to find a loop hole at
the next convention. You and CM...

I understand our government is shit, but I also know that these
guys just followed the leader (MG) to cover their asses.

I'm sure something can be done to allow (certain) players maybe
to play at their casinos. Perhaps a watered down version of WagerWork's
software, kind of like Level Eleven/MG.

The reality is what I'm not excepting. America is viewed as a paradise
in some countries, with liberal boundaries far exceeding what certain
places can only dream of, yet we can't join certain casinos...

At this point, if the government has to step in and collect taxes on winnings,
then I wouldn't mind this happening to be free to00 deposit and play at
wherever I wish.

I think you're directing your anger at the wrong people. Wagerworks are owned by IGT, the biggest player in land based gaming machines. The last people they want to annoy is the US Government by finding loopholes in their laws.

Playtech are a publicly owned company and so cannot be seen to be breaking US law. MG are probably just doing the decent thing and respecting the law in the US...how dare they!

The fact is it's against the law to fund a gambling account if you live in the USA. Until the US government changes it's opinion on gambling, it will be the players who suffer by being forced in the hands of shady operations.

Yep, the Level Eleven deception, with the choice of games strangely limited, and whilst MGS claim they have merely licensed the games and software to a new company (Level Eleven) to serve US players, this supposed new company has no owners, no head office, and has to dance to the tune played by MGS in even the MINUTEST aspect of how they run their "independent operation".

Whilst claiming they want to serve US players, other operators STILL implement policies that make it MORE likely that players' funds will be seized. For example, a player tells the casino that their bank is "on to it", and they had better find an alternative method to pay, yet the operator INSISTS it has to go by the now compromised route of international wire, and even REJECTS the quite reasonable suggestion from the player to divert it to QT, where so far, there has been little trouble.

Many operators still serving the US market have taken advantage of the situation because they can SCREW the US player, and know they are unlikely to complain to the authorities because it would involve the player confessing to using loopholes to trick their bank into allowing the transactions in the first place. The few that DO complain find they are prevented from ever playing again, because their bank is likely to "chargeback" everything it finds related to gambling, and this in turn gets the player blacklisted for fraud.

When OPERATORS get stung by UIGEA freezes and seizures, it is often the PLAYER that gets blamed, rather than the government. US players often get told their winnings have been voided because, unknown to them, UIGEA has put a stop on some earlier deposits, and they were never paid to the operator. The operator ONLY seems to find out when the player withdraws, and who's fault is it, the PLAYER - and they have their winnings confiscated for "chargebacks".

Please don't take what I said literally because I was kidding around
with 75% of what I stated. I know our government are a bunch of
money hungry pansies and if they can't make a buck out of it then
they vote against it. WagerWorks is a part of IGT and supplies most
of the slots in Vegas casinos and Indian Reservation casinos and
I'm in the knowing that IGT doesn't want to severe ties with the
U.S. based on that fact.

The point of my rant is this... Wagerworks, Playtech and the rest of
them should combine forces and approach the U.S. with a deal to
share profits of what they make on U.S. customers only.

Vinyl, with all do respects which I have the utmost for you and what you post, I would
like to say that your blowing it a little out of proportion. I made a effortless
withdraw with a Level Eleven based casino for the tune of $5,300 to my QT.

Most accredited casinos won't pull the shit you mentioned. I will agree with you
that U.S. players need to be as cautious as ever.

You are angry at the wrong people. Wagerworks for one are an extremely ethical well run online gambling company whos online casinos are a pleasure to gamble at. They are just following laws in your country. Don't be angry at them, be angry at the religious right that set these laws. "The land of the free" really should be that, it shouldn't have prohibition.

I really hope to see USA back in online gambling in the not so distant future.

Agreed. However with (7) Billion dollars lost due to the absence of the U.S.
you would expect to see WagerWorks, Wager Logic, MG, Play Tech and the rest
of them trying to come up with a reasonable agreement with the U.S. government
to allow us to play at their casinos, I.E. hire lawyers to negotiate and work in conjunction with American politictians
to try to overturn the stupid laws passed through congress. I just don't think that enough is being done.

It's not just the software providers that need to be convinced. To be a 'whitelisted' jurisdiction you cannot allow your operators to take bets from the States.

In a world where safe and regulated gambling is paramount, operators are spending thousands on licenses from these 'white listed' places, such as the IoM, Alderney, Gibraltar etc to help reinforce their integrity, so until the 'white list' rules change, you won't see the software providers or operators anywhere near the States.

The G.D. un-religious left (it's a word now!) had plenty of fricken time to pass the gambling bill before it was even implemented and even more time after implementation since they've outnumbered the right since Obama came in and Gambling has been considered a vice for a couple hundred years in this country by all parties or it would have been open in all the states for all these years. imo :)
