Virtual VS bsilva028 : split from the Virtual Probation thread

I`m shocked. I believed bsilva.
Now I have to see that I was totally wrong. My apologies to all I possibly insulted.
I can`t believe it. A long time member and webmaster is a fraudster.
But I learned my lesson and will be more sceptical in the future. Above all I understand now some long time members here, who question everything and don`t give confidence in words only.

Personally, I don't think you owe anyone an apology.

As far as I'm concerned, I almost always take the player's side in any dispute, as a matter of principle. CM and his moderators may or may not do the same, and that's perfectly fine AFAIAC, but unless we are talking about a very short list of casinos of which NONE has ever compromised commitments to fairness and customer service, I feel I should support other players, in the absence of information that would suggest skepticism is warranted.

Anyway, we all have our own ways of approaching disputes like this. Peace. :)

I agree to a degree about the trust part. Of course nobody owes anybody an apology. This situation turned out a bit odd, as I wasn't really expecting a long term member to end up in this situation. Granted we all have our wrong doings I'm sure we wouldn't want others knowing about.

If its a member with a join date that corresponds with their complaint date I'm a ton more hesitant to trust them. I'm not the guy who believes every person who walks up saying their car broke down and they need money for gas because they have a bunch of orphan kids in the vehicle (had a guy use that one a few years back).

In this case though I defaulted more to trusting the member due to their history here. Part of me was thinking Virtual wouldn't be able to provide adequate evidence against the player. With one party saying evidence exist, and both parties having a way to initiate the investigation, it just makes good sense to look at the evidence before forming a solid opinion. Granted if it's someone I knew on a personal level, I would be wholeheartedly on their side.

What a shame Bsilva was a contributing member. I still hope that there is some explanation for Bsilva to appeal. Either way even if it is the truth I would still appeal. Why should Bsilva appeal? Because this casino that has ripped of many people, and continue to do such with their ridiculous terms and tactics and they are allowed back in this forum.

I beg to differ. BSilva had multi-accounts and lodging an appeal on shaky grounds just gives Virtual strength because they would seem to be the innocent party. Others with little knowledge of this group would say 'Hey this group aint bad. Its only the player that erred'.

Yes, agreed. Seeing Bsilva knows the ropes I am very surprised they even brought this issue up, that's why I was hoping there was some explanation.

Hopefully people will continue to read the negative comments and be smart with such during this PR campaign.

Hey There!

Been a while since I posted but just wanted to give my point of view on this situation....

Bsilva was a member here, and I liked them. It is a sad day when a member who has been here a while gets booted for being a fraudster. Whether it be by a group that has been shady for many years or not, he was found out. I am sure the evidence that was given was not looked at lightly, and the decision to ban him may not have been easy.

The fact remains, the evidence did support the accusations made by the Virtual group, whether we like the group or not. I can see having 2 accounts by accident, you make one forget about it, then sign up again without realizing you already had an account, but to have so many accounts...not sure you can forget about all of them. The one thing I can't understand, is when signing up for an account, doesn't it usually block you from using the same e-mail address or something like that. It has been ages since I signed up for a new account.

Another thing I have a hard time understanding, is the fact that Bsilva was a member here for some time, and knows that fraudsters will be called out when an investigation happens, so why would he/she go ahead with all this? A part of me thinks before a member gets banned they should have the chance to "rebut" the decision in an open forum where it all started. (Again, that is just my personal opinion.)

All the best,
LH

I have no problem with bsliva - in fact, I don't know him from Adam. But to be fair, as far as rebuttal goes, Nifty asked and he answered point blank all the Qs about multiple accts time and again. And while banned from the forum, if he has a counter-argument, nothing is preventing him from emailing Bryan if he wants reconsideration and has information regarding his case

I'm still on Yuletide break - and I'm not really checking my emails :p. But when I get back, I'll be looking at this in great detail - hoping that bsilva has sent me a valid explanation.
