Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

total shit show tonight as per usual. Ques for every bloody battle. Rewards are incorrect and its hardly a 2 hour freeroll when 45 minutes of it are spent queuing. Not even worth asking why or if they will fix it.
They have known about it for a long time now, and im guessing fixing it by increasing the number of players per battle would be quite easy.
Most likely the queues are intentional, and there is really no incentive for VS to fix the issue.

Hey Sammio,

Prizes already won from battles that ran prior to 19:35 are safe to play. Additional spins will be added to the players that should have won more from these battles.
For example, if you won a set of 6 freespins, another set of 6 will be added when possible, as the rewards should have been 12 freespins.

Please bear with us while we work on getting this added to everyone affected, as this might take some time to prepare and execute.

Kind regards.
Team Videoslots.
Consider it done, cheers folks over there and nice that you guys reacted quite quickly today on this issue. Much appreciated, I belive behalf of everyone of us(or so I think at least):D

Exactly i totally agree.
They have enough wealth from there successful online casino business to fix server/site issues.
You don't see any other site operate with this level of issues.
I honestly think they like when this happens as it reduces the amount of players earning rewards.
Which in turn earns there company more money, Or rather lowers there losses.
I could be overreacting.

But the fact that i we have all put up with it for years and there company have been aware of these issues for YEARS and the issues all still remain.
This just shows the lack of trying, or caring on there end imo.

Its not the reps fault he's great help and has always solved all my issues the same day i message him.
Its the top bosses/people above him choosing not to invest in fixing their website.

The queues in 10 mans are getting silly now. I like the 2 hour double rewards idea, but with queues like that, it feels almost pointless.

That's because it came from me :p

No royalties however, I still have to queue with the rest, can currently make out about 721 people in front of me lol

@Team.Videoslots @Mr Wild
Do you guys or your tech team have any Idea why the queues are building up only on 10-man battles?
Per minute there are like 6 new battles of 30 man and 12 battles of 10 man (counting in the current battles)
This gives the 30 man a flow of 180 players per minute while the 10 man only have a flow of 120 players.
On top of that, the 30 man battles stay open for 11 minutes (thank to non spiners) which gives you an average of 1 registration per 11 minutes.
On the other side, the 10 man quite often closes around the 5 to 6 minutes mark, so you can register twice in that time.

Taking all into consideration that's what makes the queues so long, 10 man got less slots to allocate players per minute and gets more players trying to register within a short period of time (6 to 10 mins)

I know I've (haven't we all) moaned about the Q's in times gone by...

However on a Thursday night, despite showing 300-400, maybe more they do seem to go quite quickly and stopped bothering me as much.

Tonight's are longer and despite this seem to be dragging on forever and as has been said kind of ruined the event.

The cynic in me starts to think "Hmmm, double rewards and bigger queues, Hmmmm" :p

All I ask is a little game time upon redeeming, I am bored +1 tonight

Non spinners in every_single_battle so far max waiting time so under 4 10 mans per hour.
Simple kick + log out if no spins in 5 minutes would solve that issue.

@Mr Wild There is a "performance bug" that has been around for a while now.

I noticed it twice now, earlier this week and right now during the scheduled battle.
There is a loop of a request to get the fullscreen.png videoslots.com/diamondbet/images/game_page2/fullscreen.png as you can see in the image below:

It's unoticable in the begining, but since us in the UK usually have longer sessions because we can't buy bonus, after around 30 minutes in a slow it starts making the slot really heavy.
The first time I noticed was during the slot Net Gains, after a while whenever there were boxes and it required to do the opening animation, the slot would lag, probably this loop is causing a memory leak since it might not be freeing the memory.

Hi @Itaghai

After some tests, we are not able to reproduce the issue.

Please make sure that your browser cache is cleared before starting the game as it could be potentially the reason for the slow down.

Kind regards,
Team Videoslots

Hi @Team.Videoslots,
It isn't a cache issue, before I posted it I reproduced the bug using chrome in incognito mode, to make sure there isn't any cache or extension involved.

I just reproduced the bug again on a different laptop as well.
I did a few more tests and apparently, it doesn't happen in FireFox.

Hi @Itaghai

We are still not able to reproduce the issue.
Looking at your screenshot, it seems that the same image gets loaded over and over again for some reason. As this only happens in Chrome, it might be some setting in Chrome that causes it but we could not find which it could be. Are you running chrome with some extensions that could potentially cause this? Ad blocks and link grabbers would come to my mind first. But it could still be a cache issue also (not sure what would cause it).

I would recommend to try out different settings related to cache and cookies, and also disabling extensions what you may run. If the issue continues then we can send it to our developers for further look.

Kind regards,
Team Videoslots

I did a few more tests and I found the issue.
In the chrome console if you have the "Disable Cache" selected, it keeps downloading the png.

I just unselected it and now it stopped downloading it over and over.
You can ignore this report as it won't affect most of the players, but feel free to pass on the information to your dev team in case they want to improve this.

I see the point of storing in cache a file that's common to all slots, but since the size is so small, loading it into memory instead of cache won't hurt anyone.
