Hi,

Here is one strange wagering requirement from NET Entertainment powered online casino. towergaming.com
I of course overlooked it in the T&C ..

A)
30x(deposit+bonus)

+B)
30x(winnings while clearing A)

I deposited USD67.
+100 bonus = USD67
total = 134

Wagering req are as usual 30x(67+67) = USD4020

When I completed this wagering req. my balance was near USD1000 :D
After some more playing I finaly decided to withdraw USD1000 ..

Today, I was contacted by casino manager, reminding me that I stil didnt finish the wagering req., saying that I cleared my deposit bonus wagering req., but still have to clear my winnings wagering req.. And since my balance was near 1000 when finished so called deposit bonus wag.req., I was told I have to finish another 26 000 USD !!! 30x winnings that is !!

Its 1st time that I see such wagering requirements for NET Ent. ...

Any simillar experiences ??

Wager Requirement: Player must clear the 30 times (bonus + deposit) wagering requirement on their initial deposit and bonus. If player clears the bonus, they will have access to their deposit and the bonus only. Any associated winnings earned while clearing the sign-up bonus will have a wagering requirement of 30 times before a withdrawal can be made.

In the interest of fair gaming there is a maximum allowed stake per bet when using a bonus, until the wagering requirement has been met. The maximum stake is €5 per bet. A bet is defined as one slot spin. If this rule is broken the player agrees that the bonus and any associated winnings may be void.
"

Oh my God, that is an unbelieveable rule to have in their terms. That just outright shocks me, how can they even put such a thing in their T's and C's? I personally have no experience with this casino, so we will see what other's have to say..

I went to their site looked into "Terms and Conditions" but didn't find anything about the wagering. :what:

Can anyone else find it?

Hit the Casino tab and scroll to bottom. There I can see the wagering req. for welcome bonus and reload bonus ...

All the netent casinos I've played on you wager say deposit 50 + 50bonus X 35 = 3500.
They seem to have something like 50+50bonus + winnings X 35 = retarded. Even if you win you will just have to wager even more (5$ max bet limit).

I don't like that a bit.

If you do a search for Tower Gaming here you can see that it has been posted about this specific rule before.
A casino to avoid maybe:rolleyes:

LOL - Insane - Just imagine you hit something like 4000 x Bet on DOA on a 0.90c bet... = 108 000 wagering AFTER clearing the WR for the signup Bonus.

It's in the terms and conditions; however it's simply roguish and predatory :xxx

Nate

Those WR are ... evil.... for lack of a better non-expletive word.

Casinomeister Awards..

Could I please nominate this casino for 2012's Worst Wagering Requirment Award? They surely deserve such an award for their outstanding efforts in trying to screw over their player's in such a way.. :what: If such an award does not exist, then now it most certainly should IMO.

Hang on to that thought - I'm sure the thread will pop up soon and you can make the suggestion  - I agree :)

I find this rule so amazing (and a shame for NetEnt), so I have sent Tower Gaming an e-mail. It would be interesting to know how they are justifying this. Hopefully their management will give me a reply. I will let you know.

I have already received a reply from their player support manager (it was OK for them that I posted it here):

Hi Stian,

I will gladly discuss with you the reasons behind this rule as part of our bonus terms; this rule was implemented in the spring of this year after we got targeted by a very large group of fraudulent players who abused our promotions. To protect ourselves we had to make several changes, we canceled our Betting Bonus Program outright, the terms on the Casino bonus were changed to include the wagering requirement on winnings earned while a bonus is active, and a maximum bet per round was put into place as well. Though our terms may be different from other casino's, we are very clear with them and they are available for anyone to read before they decide to take part in our bonus program or even sign up. Of course any player who prefers to play without a bonus can contact our support team to remove the bonus before they start playing.

The rule is not intended to make it harder for people to cash out from our site, it is simply in place to deter those who use online sites fraudulently. Players who clear the original bonus can cash out those bonus funds and their deposit at their leisure, it is only the winnings that would need to stay in the account until cleared.

Besides the first deposit bonus, we also offer casino players a monthly reload on their first deposit each month, and loyal players to Tower Gaming also receive special rewards with less stringent rules then the regular bonus program.
Finally while they play all players also earn casino comp points which can be exchanged into cash rewards which have no wagering requirement at all.

I hope this helps clarify our position, thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain the rules.

Have a wonderful day.

Regards,

I thought it was only for the sign up bonus, but it seems like it's for all bonuses.
That's bad, really bad:(
A good way of keeping others from signing up too, not just those nasty groups of abusers.

What a shite response, terrible excuse, why dont they just say we dont want to bonus players anymore, I think this would be a better approach, the current structure is truly incomprehensible.

What a load of horseshit.

It IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to make it almost impossible to cashout ANY winnings.

I can understand the max bet rule - there are lots of casinos who have that....but wagering requirements on top of other wagering requirements is bordering on roguelike behaviour.

I'm sorry that the casino got hit by fraudsters, and I understand that you have to protect yourself but IMO punishing normal players for something that has already happened is like closing the barn door after the horses have bolted, and also setting fire to the kittens.

To be honest it would be a little better to stop offering bonuses at all. You'd get rid of the bonus hunters and then you could throw loyal players a wagering free freebie once in awhile.

If the players are committing fraud - what has the Wagering Requirements got to do with anything?
Fraudulent players should be given the boot pronto, and be thankful IF the casino gives them their deposit back!

Hardly clear. It is a dynamic WR that increases as you win. The 30x is designed to ensure that winnings will be taken back by the long term RTP. The max bet rule on it's own is sufficient to prevent the advantage tactics, and unlike this rule, would ONLY affect the advantage players going for a "do or die" strategy, and not those who play recreationally and end up ahead.

If anything, this rule BENEFITS the more calculating players as if you don't win, there is no additional WR, yet you get to withdraw the deposit and bonus. This can be a BETTER outcome than a player who gets ahead, and then has to make 30x WR on winings that no longer exist in order to merely cash out what's left.

Even 30x D+B is more than most Microgaming casinos specify, and Microgaming casinos asking for 50x bonus are considered "tight".

Of course you can play without the bonuses to avoid this rule, but on the other hand you can play WITH bonuses at a competitor that has more reasonable rules.

If they got hit hard earlier, it is down to a poorly designed offer, rather than too low a WR. The original flaw was probably the lack of a max bet term, nothing more.

Unexpected finish :D

Well, it seems fair to post a reply also on some good news, not bad only ...

As you know, the last time I was posting I had some 26000 wagering req. to finish .. You wont belive it, but I actualy did it !! :D And first withdrawed $1000 .. than exhanged comp points to cash, some $60 ... and after some 15-20 min withdrawed again $150 :D !! How's that ? hehe

Really didn't believe it would go through .. And since many of you would ask how did he do it ?.. here it is ..

Since there is a max bet limit and my balance was still not much, but still $1000, I decided to spin on with some $2 (2.5-3, depends on the lines ..) per spin; I play slots only ;) ... Surprisingly my balance was never above $1600 and never bellow $500, just up and down ... played almost all slots and had some nice winnings on many ...

Final thoughts would be to avoid bonuses here and try to play with reall money only. At the end, it seems they have some fair chances to win. And as per my case the player support was outstanding. After I cleared the "1st bonus" there was no indication on the playtrough ammount and after my complaint they fixed it in one day ! Have to agree that was kind of fast ... Also other communicationwas very detailed and positively orientated to the player and eager to help ... I can tell, some casinos have very crapy support if you are winning ....

My ID was confirmed by usual method while playing .. And the withdrawal took 1 bussines day for both of them ! Thats great also !

It seems than only this hard to believe bonus rules are dropping a black shadow over this casino. Its more like real player friendly

Congratulations on managing to wager all that money and cashing out:thumbsup:

Player friendly? No way! I would still never ever recommend this casino to anyone:(

That term is just roguish. Would never play on casino with that kind of t&c.. they really should not offer bonuses if they are so affraid of the abuse...
