We are Thunderkick AB, a Stockholm based company producing casino software and casino games for the online casino market. We have been in operation since 2012 but have experience that goes back almost 10 years. Some of us have previously worked at other notable casino software suppliers whom you might have heard of. At Thunderkick, we try to combine the latest technology and tools with new ideas on presentation and functionality to create the most enjoyable casino games we can.

Funny story.

Little did I know, I actually just played one of your slots before my last post and didn't even realize, lol.

Just purchased free spins at V&J for Toki Time, thinking I'll give a game I've never heard of a try, then realized it was one of yours after watching the link you posted.

Toki Time was pretty cool. Would definitely be more fun (possibly scary) on an acid trip, but you kind of already feel like you're on one with those characters and the way they shoot out of those holes, lol. Also cool that there's now another option to Starburst in the minimum bet range of 10 cents when you have a small $2.00 or $5.00 free chip to try building on. It seems to have a similar line and pay style to Starburst, so I'll definitely give it another try as an alternative, as Starburst has become boring.

Nice to see some different options, and I was an avid player before I even knew it! :lolsign:

The load time is mostly due to the initialization of the real-time 3D engine which on some machines can take more time compared to more traditional 2D and 2.5D slots.

Regarding high variance slots we are constantly working towards broadening our games portfolio and although we think we have a good mix right now we would like to expand it further by adding slots in all parts of the spectrum.

I like the games but I've never managed to get 'em to load completely on my PC using Firefox (although they do work fine in Chrome). I did Tweet you about this (and you even replied - so that's just you, a marketing guy at Playtech and NextGen who actually respond to my queries), but I think the conclusion was that it was a Firefox issue.

For sure you can find similarities between our slots and that of the competition but that is the rule of the business, not the exception. Quite often a slot is released online and hailed as a true marvel of innovation while in reality it is a blatant copy of a land based video slot (or vice verse). We try to draw inspiration from the "best" while at the same time experiment with completely new concepts and new mechanics. Barber Shop and Fruit Warp are excellent examples of this ambition, just to name a couple.

If you play our games you will probably find that while there are similarities, the games stand on their own and can be just as the game they "copied".

Perhaps it is the presentation of actual winnings that gives you that impression? Most games show their winnings in coins which of course is not near 1:1 with money. For instance, winning 35 coins in a popular game may mean that you won 0.05 x bet. Generally, over time, our portfolio will have you game longer due to a generous RTP of 96+%. thats kind of what i was looking at going via the pay table if you was lucky to hit 8 or nine fruits in one hit then go onto hitting min 20x yu should be pretty close depending on what fruits you hit , nice though shall be back playing it )

i did try birds again got the feature but bombed out again , but the best two are fruit warp & barber shop i do like that slot its pretty cool )

Just thought I'd add to my previous comments regarding this platform.

Played the Fruit Warp game after seeing the positive reviews here, and I must say I enjoyed it, and see the potential for some nice wins. I didn't find it that high in variance, but perhaps I was lucky on the day I tried it. I hit 3 features with one returning a nice $100+ win on a $1.50 stake, whilst the other 2 only returned a few dollars. Overall, I would definitely play this game on a regular basis.

Notice I call them games, as they truly are a new twist on conventional slots. I like the novelty of it at the moment, but time will tell if the novelty fades. At the moment it's a nice break up when playing the standard slots format.

I also received 80 free spins on Sunny Scoops at V&J, but unfortunately my experience compared with Fruit Warp is completely opposite. Maybe I just got it on a bad day, as the $4.00 return seemed quite low when compared to playing 80 rounds on some other slots. However, it would be unfair to pass judgment just on the small return, so taking that out of the equation, I found the game to be far too boring for what seemed to be it's high variance. There just wasn't enough to the game to keep me interested. In all honesty, I just didn't get it, and got to the point where I just wanted to get the free spins over with so I could move on to another slot.

Sorry Thunderkick, nothing personal, as I can imagine you put your heart and soul into every game developed, and criticism of 'your baby' is never easy to take, however liking 2 out of 3 of the games ain't bad? I definitely appreciate the visual refinement in all the games, and credit you for a job well done regarding the graphics, as they are all visually flawless and beautiful to look at.

Bottom line, and I guess most importantly, you have gained my attention, and I will definitely return to a couple games again, and keep an eye out so as to try any new one's to come.

Had a go on a couple of Thunderkick's slots which I hadn't played before - both took quite a while to get going (meaning I lost a fair bit before seeing any decent wins), but both have the potential to hit pretty big!

Sunny Scoops:
Not too hard to get 3-of-a-kind vertically, but a bit frustrating that the feature seems to be awarded less than the 1 in 3 chance the symbols imply.
Only played a couple of hundred spins and got the feature 2 or 3 times.
The best one on the Purple Scoops went up to about x12 or x13 I think, and paid something over €140 from a €1.50 bet - not quite x100!
Overall though I found it a little bit boring for my personal taste - though I'm sure my opinion would change if I got the feature on one of the 2 Yellow scoops!

Barber Shop:
I describe this as "Jack Hammer 1 on Speed!"
The base game play is virtually the same as JH1, except there are no Wild symbols - but it plays a LOT faster (I was actually looking if there was a setting to slow it down, but I couldn't find one!)
The big difference is in the free-spins, where it is possible (and not too hard) to get to a 5 x multiplier on your wins.
I was VERY unlucky when I first played it though - it went through €100 in less than 120 spins @ €1/spin with mostly just the occasional tiny win.
When my luck changed and the large wins and features started hitting, it was obviously a lot more enjoyable and I got back 65% of my initial loss.
I like this one a lot more than "scoops" and will definitely give it another go or 3...

Fast paced, pretty graphics and very cool sound!
I like Starburst, and i played it a lot, this seems to be a slot in that theme, but i already like it better, lol.
