OK, thanks everyone for your selections, there's been a huge number of slots released between Dec 1 2018 and Nov 30 2019 and a vast list to choose from. We have had an unprecedented number of participants in the poll here so it's taken a while to collate the information and therefore the results are a bit more conclusive than in previous years. The original 2019 slot poll was here, if you need to see the list that was supplied or want to see for yourself the source of this information and voting:
The 2019 Slot of the Year Poll was here.
Winner 2016 - Book Of Dead byNovomatic Play'n Go.
Winner 2017 - Bonanza by Big Time Gaming
Winner 2018 - Napoleon Rise of an Empire by Blueprint Gaming
Drum roll......brm brm brm brm
Winner 2019 - Dead or Alive 2 by Netent!!! 27/14/110
OK, I have made a legend for each slot that looks like a date i.e. for the winner it was 27/14/110. These 3 figures are: Firstly, the number of choices the slot had, secondly the number of top choices for 5 points it received and thirdly and most importantly, the overall total.
So the Winner had 27 voters nominate it, of which 14 had it as their top choice and the overall score was a total of 110 points. Remember, the top 5 you chose were given 5 points down to 1 point.
#2. Razor Shark by Push Gaming 16/3/49

The TOSSER! The Overwhelmingly Shittiest Slot Ever Released!
Winner 2019: A 3-way tie between Holy Diver, Legacy of Ra Megaways and Machina Megaways of which all had 3 nominations.
Village People and Eye of Horus Megaways both had 2 nominations.
Other brilliant dunover insights:
This poll shows that there has been a pretty wholesale rejection of the Megaways mechanic, it's been flogged to death although it still produces a few grains of wheat in amongst all the chaff with Temple Tumble being the highest and only game in the Top 10. Again we see high volatility and good potential preferred and this year has seen the widest winning margin ever, Netent's DoA 2 absolutely smashed it! Despite this, their games were otherwise pretty mediocre and anonymous and it was refreshing to see Thunderkick consistently showing well in the Top 20 with Push Gaming and Relax Gaming both having two in the Top 10 which is a notable result again for the less prolific developers. MG, Playtech, IGT and Microgaming - well again nothing of note although that is skewed slightly by the fact Playtech and IGT tend to be found at few of the numerous non-bookie MGA casinos we tend to join as members of CM.
We can rate the top developers by total points gained in this poll and I can add a little comment to each.
#1. NETENT: 110 points, 2 TOSSER choices.
Without DoA 2 - err....not a single point in the top 20 lol.
#2. PUSH GAMING: 66 points, 0 TOSSER choices.
Few releases, but always quality!
#3. THUNDERKICK 65 points, 1 TOSSER choices.
Always a solid provider of playable games.
#4. RELAX GAMING: 45 points, 0 TOSSER choices.
Easily the best new entry to the poll this year, maybe now under the Scientific Gaming fold we'll see some more good games in 2020.
Anyway, thanks to all those members here who took the trouble to select the games in the poll!
