Since it was the posting at Casinomeister that resulted in the resolution, I consider it an extreme discourtesy to the Casinomeister members to not pass on this information. It's the members that make this site what it is. Without them, there would be no site, no resolution, and no...whatever.

Noted for future reference.

I agree, noted here too. They got the money and forgot about us.

Well, it's not like you're intentionally being held in the dark. There are still some loose ends being tied up at the moment - so there is no discourtesy intended.

Sure - pretty much agreed upon but you would be surprised at how many people never bother to visit the forum - and how many PABs never make it here either. Casinomeister's a big site - lots of stuff going on.

And to all the disbelievers - I thought my word was good enough stating what happened had happened. Trust me - it really did.

We should know more hopefully by the beginning of next week sometime - maybe that's when the press release will come out :D

I wasn't questioning at all your honesty in reporting the fact of the resolution - I'm sure noone else is, either. It's not the what, it's the where.

Anyway, as this is still apparently work in progress, we'll wait and see.

fabulous VP win !

I do believe that this actually happened . I do take meister's word for it.

That is worth at least 1 Million ++ in my area of residence . Very nice win .

Time to spend the money and stop visiting online casinos :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

Do you think this is an extremely case?
I know one pending to pay $1.500.000 and paying the player 2k weekly.

Would you be prepared to say at which casino that happened, Ximo? MGS, 888 and Crypto pay out in one cash tranche when these big progressives are hit, and Playtech claims it does too. Not sure about RTG. It would be interesting to see factual evidence to the contrary.

At this rate, it would take more than 14 years to clear the sum. Wonder if the casino would have folded by then.

Well, the gain was in BJ but sorry I have to prevent the anonymous player.
What's rare is Bryan don't know it, this is not a common case.

I should co-co! :eek2:

Unless it was some crazy high limits game, it must've taken forever to get to that sort of level.

Few Vegas casino's will take more than $10,000 a hand... even $50,000 would take a while!

Im suprised the casino hasnt made a big thing of the win. In Vegas pictures of slot jackpot winners = $$$ of slot revinue doesnt it:confused:

Hi Na Fanny:

I'm surprised the casino (STARLUCK) has not cultivated what could have and should have been a Public Relations bonanza. In any event the player in this case was in fact playing Video Poker at $500.00 per hand. He started with a wire transfer deposit of $5,000.00 and elected to NOT participate in any bonuses.

After the first Royal was hit he had an account balance of a quarter of a million dollars which from that point provided him the wherewithall to proceed with hitting two more Royals. All three Royals occurring within a weeks time.

At this point I'll let STARLUCK CASINO of PARTY POKER fame write their own epitath as to why they handled this matter in the trashy way that the did. But I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to deposit with this group for POKER and/or Casino play.

This is the third go around that I've had with this group and each one seems to have gotten appreciably more difficult to resolve each time.

Thanks again to Bryan and to all of you posters here on the Casinomeister website.

Lastly, yes, every dime that was owed was collected.

Have a good one.

At one time Starluck did NOT deal normal VP games - they were like slots. So this is quite an interesting story... either it indicates that they finally fixed the software to deal random cards and just did a bad job setting the limits... or else they tried to fix the machines and made a hash of it :)

Glad to get the lowdown on the win. Be it mojo or luck that was involved, it clearly proves that Karma is alive and well and POWERFUL.

Thanks for putting this one definitively to bed.

Amazing isn't it? Party Poker / Starluck an another group on the UK stock market, yet they apparently consider it perfectly acceptable business practice to try to deny a quarter million dollar payment - a payment which in context really isn't all that large, just 1500 $500 units.

It just flabbergasts me the way everyone in this industry seems to regard us all with utter contempt. Sure we can deny this payment - just a dumb gambler, right? So what we're on the UK AIM? What's that got to do with paying our customers? Pay dumb gamblers?? - get outta there.

Just beyond belief.

Hi Caruso:

I totally agree Caruso, but you need to add the word three to "quarter million dollar payment" It really makes me wonder how many players there are that are getting shafted right, left and center.

In this instance, it was just a fluke that this player got in touch with me as I was over at the AT&T Pebble Beach PRO/AM and generally I don't take my laptop with me when I go to Peeble.

Have a good one.
