Im all for securing the boarders and putting the National Gaurd in place to stop the illegals from entering, there is so much violence that is spilling in from the drug gangs in Mexico into places like AZ. and people are getting killed, our citizens as well as Mexicans and what is that (Mexican) goverment doing? So Much Hate.

Our country came into existence because of things that were not right in the "home country". We have grown, and become almost fat and lazy, as evidenced by our lack of voting, our lack of patriotism, our lack of compassion for those less blessed than we are.

I do not believe that illegal immigrants should be here, I do believe that they ARE HERE though. We need to figure out how to make this mass migration work, to both our benefits.

It is possible to make things better, but it takes both sides of the border to make it happen. I do know for a fact that there are many thousands of jobs that Americans simply do not want. I know this is 100% true.

I lived in N. Mexico for years, Colorado for years, and I have to say that the reality is that without immigrants, we would not enjoy the fresh veggies and fruits that are harvested by mostly immigrants, some legal, some not. We also have proved we do not want the jobs in the meat packing business, the fruit picking business, the vegetable picking business. In any physically challenged and or "disgusting" job, we Americans do not even apply for these jobs.

While I do not agree on some of the stances our government takes about the illegal immigrants, I do feel the disparity between what we give them and what we don't, could be fine tuned to make the best of a sad and realistic situation.

Just my take on this problem.

I totally understand and agree with the point Lost2much is making and I understand and agree with the original post Kauphy made in this thread. There is a more serious issue going on here than just being kind to our neighbors that are looking for a better life.
I personally don't have a probelem if people from anywhere come here looking for a better life, this country should be able to not only secure our own better life but also to be able to extend it to others in need.
But when you have an eliment that comes here under the guise of seeking a better life, but displays the total opposite and becomes a nightmare for those of us living here, then something is seriously wrong.
You can google all sorts of protesting and behavior they display to US citizens and our country and it is contrary to the pretense of looking for a better life.
Many of these people coming over the border into this country are drug dealers and they are not seeking greener grasses, they are seeking control to be able to do the things that is illegal to do here, by force or whatever it takes to open up their drug market to a wider audience. Who will that buying audience be, your children?
There are plenty of illegals that have come to this country and gained citizenship legally and are active productive people in this society. But then there are the ones that are obviously not only a disgrace to their own country but also to this one.
They breed hatred and contempt for everything that America stands for, yet they come. Why, because they are not coming seeking refuge from an oppressed society, they are an invasion coming to disrupt, destroy and overtake our very own country. Sad how we can be so complacent that we are at war and don't even know it.
But I not only am appalled by what is developing here, but even more so at what is behind it.

Our country came into existence because of things that were not right in the "home country". We have grown, and become almost fat and lazy, as evidenced by our lack of voting, our lack of patriotism, our lack of compassion for those less blessed than we are.

I do not believe that illegal immigrants should be here, I do believe that they ARE HERE though. We need to figure out how to make this mass migration work, to both our benefits.

It is possible to make things better, but it takes both sides of the border to make it happen. I do know for a fact that there are many thousands of jobs that Americans simply do not want. I know this is 100% true.

I lived in N. Mexico for years, Colorado for years, and I have to say that the reality is that without immigrants, we would not enjoy the fresh veggies and fruits that are harvested by mostly immigrants, some legal, some not. We also have proved we do not want the jobs in the meat packing business, the fruit picking business, the vegetable picking business. In any physically challenged and or "disgusting" job, we Americans do not even apply for these jobs.

While I do not agree on some of the stances our government takes about the illegal immigrants, I do feel the disparity between what we give them and what we don't, could be fine tuned to make the best of a sad and realistic situation.

Just my take on this problem.

I totally understand and agree with the point Lost2much is making and I understand and agree with the original post Kauphy made in this thread. There is a more serious issue going on here than just being kind to our neighbors that are looking for a better life.
I personally don't have a probelem if people from anywhere come here looking for a better life, this country should be able to not only secure our own better life but also to be able to extend it to others in need.
But when you have an eliment that comes here under the guise of seeking a better life, but displays the total opposite and becomes a nightmare for those of us living here, then something is seriously wrong.
You can google all sorts of protesting and behavior they display to US citizens and our country and it is contrary to the pretense of looking for a better life.
Many of these people coming over the border into this country are drug dealers and they are not seeking greener grasses, they are seeking control to be able to do the things that is illegal to do here, by force or whatever it takes to open up their drug market to a wider audience. Who will that buying audience be, your children?
There are plenty of illegals that have come to this country and gained citizenship legally and are active productive people in this society. But then there are the ones that are obviously not only a disgrace to their own country but also to this one.
They breed hatred and contempt for everything that America stands for, yet they come. Why, because they are not coming seeking refuge from an oppressed society, they are an invasion coming to disrupt, destroy and overtake our very own country. Sad how we can be so complacent that we are at war and don't even know it.
But I not only am appalled by what is developing here, but even more so at what is behind it.
I think about cancer, you treat it with conventional medicine and it will always come back, but treat the cause and you will kill the cancer.
Standing up against the invasion at our borders is the one immediate thing we can do to protect our country, but we will always be doing this if we don't put a stop to those that are behind this catastrophy and all catastrophies on this planet.

You are probably referring to everyone other than Native Americans in this country, but there is a difference in our being here and others invading.
Sure the English broke from England and invaded this country, they were the first and very essence of illegal immigrants. They forced themselves into this country and stole the Native Americans land and way of life. However, an individual is a native to the land they are born to.

Then that is our ancestry, which is not a proud one, but now we who are born here and not in England are also Native Americans just as the true Native Americans are.
But how would you feel if we all packed up and moved back to your country? Would there be enough resources, jobs, homes and what have you to extend to all? Or would the massive influx of migrating people turn your country into a cesspool of drugs, prostitution, corruption, murder, extortion, to the degree that has never been seen before, simply because the masses cannot be accomodated and intergrated properly.
Then consider the Black American and their ancestry, they were not born here either, but they were ripped from their own country and brought here to be slaves to former English that wanted to carry on the tradition of the country they left. Now any generation after the first stolen peoples generation has become Native Americans.

To spur such a mass exodus from nations first you have to oppress and break that nation to get the people moving. To break a nation, industry must be removed and taken to other countries, money devalued to where people can no longer sustain themselves on what they could before, as just a couple samples. Then the migration gets full blown, thus over filling the cup so to speak and the excess just spills all over everything.
Now here we are in our country we were born to, companies have been shifted to other countries, the dollar now is worth 4 cents, food shortages are being created as prices are going up on everything. Top it all off with open borders and an influx of people that are so desperate they come here with the attitude of it's us or them and you have a revolution/war being staged.
This is why it is more than just a migration of people seeking a better life, it is a chess game being played by those that control everything. They even control you, your thoughts, your actions and reactions.

Mexican jails are among the worst in the world and if they are put into a detention center it is much better than what they would have in their countries jails.

I lived an San Diego many years ago when my ex husband was in the US Navy and while he was on TAD till his ship came back from a cruise he had the job of going south of the boarder to take meals and grooming supplies to active duty members there, as they will not feed them as we do theirs.

They also will take their personal stuff such as vehicles and money if they were detained while driving their personal autos. If you have money and pay the right amount or pay off the policeman that stopped you, you dont have to go to jail but if you dont, you must rely upon getting the money sent or wait out your sentence.

The US military can not get them out, only take daily food and personal gear and mail to them.

I dont know if the laws have changed in the last 26 years, but thats the way it worked then and im sure it hasnt changed to much as of now.

We had a friend who lost his brand new truck and it was taken, the crime, going 2 miles over the speed limit, he didnt buy the insurance that is offered at the boarder, but still had to pay the monthly payments on the truck.

Mexican jails are shit holes, if any are here in ours its a totally different style, they are clothed, fed and given a warm place to stay, unlike how they handle people locked up in their corrupt jails south of the boarder.
