Long story short...deposited about a year and a half ago (minimal $25, $40) and got lucky and withdrew $400. Played a bit more and then in January made my last deposit $50 and withdrew $591. All totaled deposited $275..withdrew $991.00. After the last withdrawal I would log in and all the bonuses were gone. Not even 10% for a Usemywallet deposit. Basically I wrote them off. Was looking around today and thought I would download them again for another shot. Well, no bonuses...soooo..I emailed support. Finally someone actually said it...your account has been red flagged by security so no bonuses. I told them that was fine with me it is out of my control if I win or lose..it is THEIR software (it doesn't take a genius to figure out I play a handful of games and that is it). A casino can do as it chooses and so can I. I closed my account permanently and uninstalled. I don't need to play at a place that treat's their players this way. My 2 cents and just remember that if you do win (with a bonus) you'll probably never see one again:D

This is the end of the story....Richard from Customer Service sends me an email asking to verify that I really want to close my account and please give them a reason. So...I do....explaining my reasons (no bonuses, poor treatment, yadda, yadda, and I get an email in return from some that says they have closed my account and "disabled all promotional emails"...WTF? I haven't received a promotional email from them EVER. I wrote back and asked them if they are all insane? I wouldn't play there for ANY amount of "free" money....I'm done...another toddy is calling:p

Hi, TIV closed my account last year after I cashed out on a bday free chip. That's pretty low IMO-its like they have punished me for having a birthday win.

OK-beat this one, superior casino a while back, banned me from bonuses. On this account-I reversed 9k of cash-outs in a 4 hour period-and lost it all.

Now take in mind also that they were having cash-out issues at the time-so the whole 9k should of been paid weeks before the reverse mare!

Basically there wankers-fuck-em!

Hold on, this is an entirely different thing. If they exclude you from bonuses, fine but they are saying you are red-flagged by security therefore no bonuses. This is an insult because security has nothing to do with it. You arent committing fraud for pete's sake. I ran into the same thing and closed both my accounts at Cocoa and Pardise 8. I think we should post more of these experiences here so new players will get a taste of what could befall them.

After reversing a 9K cashout the casino should have offered you tons of attractive bonusses. Treating a good customer like this instead is absolutely a No Go! Although I wasnt bonus banned in Rivals so far, reading this raises my red flags concerning my play in that casino.

Cheers Balky

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, the casinos security system has flagged your account and you are not eligible for promotions. You may still play for Fun or for Real without promotions. I am sorry to inform you but the casino reserves the right to deny promotions to anyone, without disclosing the reason why. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us again. Have a nice day. Sincerely, thisisvegas Customer Service

Chuchu.....this was the email from last night...the only thing I have EVER done at this casino is deposit...and withdraw twice. I am totally disappointed in the way these casinos treat people. And, I think everybody that this has happened to needs to say something. New players need to be aware of this behavior.

On another note....if I played back 9K I would expect presents...lots and lots of presents:lolup:

Exactly!
Basically there not-very-nice-people, they can go fornicate!
"There" is like "over there!", you should have said "they're" - an abbreviation of "they are". :p

Back on topic, I wonder if there will EVER come a day when Rival casinos wake up and realise that by stopping bonuses and driving players away that have absolutely ZERO chance of ever getting their losses back...
I guess they need to go to Rocket Science classes! :p

Richard: Please don't take this personally but I like to play where I am appreciated. Red flagging my account due to 2 wins, and deleting all bonus offers, does not make for loyal players. If my $720 net profit is hurting the bottom line I'm thinking it is a good thing I wasn't betting $5 or $10 a spin. YOUR software determines if I win or lose..not me. I only choose the games..you control them. If you bonus ban people for winning then why offer the bonuses? I cashed out $2700 from a differnt Rival with only $500 in deposits...I still have a 100% match bonus. Obviously it has to be one with a different owner. I would think in order to get some of your money back you would want me to play (even with a bonus the odds are slim I would cashout). But since I obviously do not matter...closing my account was appropriate...and uninstalling is easy. Most of the comments from the Casinomeister Forum are true about Rival's and that is too bad.

Thanks...(from a former player..there are more Rivals out there) and if not..RTG is fun.

****Please note at this point I was getting a little annoyed with them****

Thank You. Thats exactly what all the Rivals except Slotto cash ( although I have to write and ask them for bonuses since the others bonus banned me) and Paradise 8.The other Rivals told me the same exact thing they told you. Red flagged it is out of our hands. They are full of it. Because the only one that was wonderful about giving me back Bonuses was Paradise 8. Now I only get 2 or 3 bonuses a week from them but they never were a big bonus giving casino to begin with. But I was bonus banned by them and they are the only one who opened up the bonuses for me when I mailed them.

This was exactly the same message I got from Cocoa. You might believe they may not even write English to send anyone the same message. problem was I wasnt asking for a bonus. They sent me a mail telling me there was a ND bonus in my account and asked why I didnt claim it. When I couldnt locate it I enquired where it was and got the same shit from them.

Well move over me hardies there's plenty o' tars on this here boat.

I had it explained to me by (mis)management that the reason I was bonus banned is that I cashed out too early after meeting the WR on the bonuses I used in the past....this is ALMOST true, but there was one VERY important aspect they didnt consider......

When I met WR I would indeed cashout - but NOT the entire balance. I would often leave $50 or $100 in the account to keep playing, and apart from an odd occasion I would lose that bit of leftover lolly. So, in fact, I did NOT cashout and run for the hills as they suggest, but kept WAGERING further with funds which were actually now my own. In many cases, I would actually end up wagering DOUBLE what was required by the time I had my cashout flushed.

I pointed this out to the said manager, to which they replied 'well our detection software doesnt measure what is wagered AFTER the cashout only before'. Ah well, I thought, it should be easy enough for them to check back at my history and confirm that I did in fact wager far more than required. Of course, the declined to do that but did suggest that if I wanted to be eligible for bonuses again he would issue me with a few match deposit AS LONG as I agreed to wager DOUBLE the amount stated and that 'should make the system allow bonuses for you again'.

Ummm, thanks but no thanks.

As Ive said many times before, its not really about having 10 different bonuses available all the time with low WR, its about being treated like a CUSTOMER instead of some kind of fraudster and being able to enjoy some extended play time occasionally when the funds are low (I deliberately have a fixed budget for gambling).

I also pointed out that the WR used to be 20xBonus etc etc which was extremely low, but with WR like they are now Im not sure what the casino is afraid of - that I might LOSE??? :what:

So the moral of the story is DONT bother emailing and arguing and stating a reasonable case - its a waste of time and you may as well stick with 32REd and Buzzluck etc where you wont ever run into this kind of nonsense.

I never take bonuses at rival, to hard to understand the rules, on the other hand i do play with the n/p promos sometimes and have even won 2500.00 on a 25.00 n/d comp, 100 x playthru and made the 2500.00 max cashout and was paid within 12 hours, not bad at all, i havent been banned yet for partaking of the non deposit promos, i just never play with bonuses on fresh deposits at rival. I so liked it much better when John was there imo.

I just dont know why the ban folks for taking these bonuses they offer in the beginning, and if you win and are good at it , they take it away !!!!whats up with that crap? ......................laurie

And, the thing that REALLY honks me off is that I have noticed in the last 6 months..you REALLY have to play a long time to hit a good bonus round unless your are extremely lucky (I'm talking thousands of spins and hours and hours of play). I do low roll ($.40-$.60) but normally start out at $1 (which for some is low rolling anyway). I take the bonuses because it takes FOREVER to get something decent. I played at one a couple week s ago and played for 2 days before a decent cashout was in order. Same thing happened last Thursday and Friday. $50 deposit 250% bonus, down to $10 and hit a half way decent feature...up and down with $1 and $2 spins..it takes a lot of work to get through the playthrough and then cashout (less the sticky bonus) for the love...and this time I'm not even cashing out that much more than the total of my deposits. If they are nice I will probably try them again. If not, oh well...... :p

Early in 08 I deposited 3 times at TIV, using a bonus each time. Never cashed out. Became bonus banned.

I consider that rogue-ish behavior, and will never deposit there again.

OMG... I didn't know Rival were going down THAT route!!

"Yes, you have completed the WR stated in Black & White in the T&Cs, but that's not the real WR - you have to guess how much more you need to wager before your cash-out will be accepted with no repercussions. Get it wrong and you will be bonus banned you evil abuser!!!"

Jeeeeze! Which casino was that?

Well I dont know if I should say as it was technically in a PM - but it seems all the 'networked' Rivals work the same way based on other tidbits from here and there.

If the rep wants to explain it themselves here then thats great, but PM's are private and it would be against the grain for me personally.

I 100% gaurantee it was true though :)

When I was bonus banned a few months ago, I mailed the reps on here. Not one of them replied back to me. I guess they are getting enough business at the casinos to care.

Rival have long since had these "secret" terms & conditions, evidenced by other posts in the past year or two.

There is now MORE than enough of what the real world would call "eye witness testimony" to establish that Rival DO "bonus ban" players for nothing more than winning, and they do this often.
Rival than seek to hide behind such statements as "your account has been red-flagged by security....", which seeks to suggest that players were not simply "lucky" with their gaming, but were engaged in some kind of player fraud".

Other casinos use the phrase "red flagged by security" when they SUSPECT that a player has been fraudulent, and thus are investigating their accounts.

This is all down to Rival NOT wanting it revealed that they have this policy of banning (from bonuses) players who have done nothing more "fraudulent" than to hit that "one in a million" session.
Rival "bonus bans" seem to be triggered by extraordinarily low overall wins, which does not make allowance for the natural variance present in many casino games.

Rival are NOT the only casino brand to bonus ban players for nothing more serious that winning.
From memory I have been "bonus banned" from the following merely for winning over the lifespan of my account:-

Roxy Palace (5K ahead)
Casino Spendido (5K ahead)
Spin Palace (20 ahead, mostly in the "Munchkins session")
Club World (twice, and for mostly slots play the second time)

These 4 are where my loyalty status would otherwise qualify me for offers stated as being "available for all players"

I also found that all offers from Fortune Lounge casinos dried up, even though it was stated in the rules for my loyalty level that I was eligible for "regular offers".

Offers from BelleRock have mostly stopped, although it is less clear why, and it may have been down to changes in the way they defined eligibility, along with persistent problems with their CS that drove me to stop playing so much, and thus losing my loyalty status, and presumably my eligibility for some promotions.

The plain fact is that so long as OTHER casinos are STILL happy to offer me promotions, I have somewhere else to decant to for my "fix", and someone ELSE gets the chance to win back my earlier winnings (and by the laws of casino mathematics, this WILL be the most likely long term outcome).

It would seem from other remarks from affiliates that roughly 40% of referred players have "decanted" from a Rival casino and gone elsewhere (they can see this in their own tracking stats). There is nothing that states WHY this has happened, but I would speculate that at least some have suffered poor CS, or the "red flagged by security" treatment, and have moved on to try a different casino.

Even players who would otherwise be happy to carry on playing without the bonuses are likely to misinterpret "red flagged by security", and believe that at any time they could face delayed payouts, or a full blown "no pay" fraud investigation on their account.

There is the danger that Rival operators will respond to the loss of players (due to the way they handle these issues, as well as increased publicity of this) by turning increasingly to "the dark side", and following practices that we might see at the less reputable RTG casinos. Rival are ALREADY acting in a manner that is ILLEGAL in many countries, and this is in stating one thing in the terms and conditions, but MEANING something completely different. Worse, by utilising "security" and "red flagging" as a means to control winners, they could be commiting libel against players, because of how OTHERS will interpret these phrases, and what such phrases might imply in a legal setting.
