The Remarkable CM Community Thread

Cheers Nikan and well done on your win.

Once all is said and done, the very final scene, camera pans out slowly and we see Jono777 standing bold, brave and naked on a hill top, hoards of women are now seen racing up the hill, pushing, fighting each other as his grin slowly grows to a huge smile.......

Never watched it BTW lol.

As for Raging Rhino, I will say 653.40

thanks again for the comp.

I’ve never seen it either (as mentioned elsewhere) so I would have to hazard a guess.

Jean-Luc Picard appears suddenly next to the ruined Iron Throne, alongside Worf and a topless Deanna Troi. Worf looks at Troi and a wide smile begins to form. “Thank you Data” he mutters under his breath. Troi tries in vain to cover her breasts but then realises she is in Game of Thrones and knows theres no point.

Picard looks at the throne and says we can’t have that. He uses a portable replicator and restores the throne to its former glory. At this point the Borg Queen appears out of nowhere and claims the throne for the Borg.

The warrior Worf lunges in and decapitates the Borg Queen with his bat’leth and claims the throne for Star Fleet. Picard nods approvingly and the screen fades to black.

1633x!

In other news, I received the 10USD this morning but didn’t manage to double it. I deposited £10 at Videoslots and did get over 750 spins on DOA, but alas it too faded to black. Next time!

And the winners are......

It was min bet try for the 4-wins. After 3 bonus guarantee I got this. Closest is @paul7388 with the 88.88 guess.

As for the worst ending, that was a hard one. I decided to go with the most likes and since we had a tie there the Wheel Decide picked the no-boobs ending from @bamberfishcake as a winner.

Congrats both. PM me for the prizes.
Thanks all for taking part.

Thanks Nikantw must be first time someone won with a guess so far of the actual amount.

WTG Bambi good luck with your prize:thumbsup:

Yes, thanks Nikantw. £30 CM pounds deposited on LV Bet because i forgot its £25.

Anywho will try to double and pass on, good luck with yours also Paul!

So went to LV Bet as they happily contributed to the RTP thread.

Played Pauls choice of games from the Slot Of The Year award to remove any liability as admitting the loss to the remarkable community can be intimidating:

1. Return of Kong Megaways BLUEPRINT GAMING
2. Dead or Alive 2 NETENT
3. Wish Upon a Leprechaun Megaways BLUEPRINT GAMING
4. 9k Yeti 4THEPLAYER
5. Opal Fruits BIG TIME GAMING

Started on Wild Blood 2 as LV Bet are doing a promotion, got lucky

Screenshot 2020-01-29 at 21.19.57.png

then thought 'no promotion! i must do this for the community!' Couldnt find Opal Fruits, 9k Yeti either. Return of Kong did nothing then this little gem......

Thing is I had not wagered so hit DOA2 and got a neat 40x from base which took me to wagered depo (plus a bit more for good measure) and got to £55 before down to £50 withdrawn.

So I am pleased to announce a comp, thanks to Nikantw and Paul7388 for £25 deadline tomorrow 10 pm UK.

I have always been a fan of philosophical sayings and proverbs etc from 'A gem is not polished without rubbing' to 'You cant polish a turd'.

To enter - Write a saying, proverb or such like, no matter how serious or silly, and the one i like best will win.

Wtg! You just increased the probability of that 'winning train' i so often hope we will get to set-off here! I'll gladly hop on board the first carriage and must admit that this comp suits me: i am a huge proverb fan as well... I was one of those annoying kids that always came up with a suitable one for almost every occassion, and mostly of course they were jokingly 'rubbing it in' :D

I do live by one serious proverb, and i'll use that to enter: it's called the 'Golden Rule' and i feel it's the real deal. Basically, once i learned of this proverb, and it's many variations, i had that 'hmmm, why didn't i think of this before' moment, and decided to live by it, or strive too as best i can. And i have found out that it really applies well in the world. If everybody just tried to live by this, we would have a better world instantly!

I'm sure most of you know it, it's mostly written as follows: 'Treat others as you would like others to treat you', or 'Do not wish upon others, that you would not wish upon yourself ' I think it sounds best like this - Do not treat others in ways that you would not like to be treated!

I mean, especially in the socially sensitive and awkward times we live in today, where boundaries seem to be crossed at every turn (there's always somebody offended) i get it would be really hard for people to start treating others well actively, just because they would like the same pleasanrt attention :p

But, i do believe it would cost people much effort to refrain from treating other people poorly, jsut because they're in a hurry, having a bad day, or are unhappy in their life.. It's just takes a little bit of empathy, reflection and introspection..

Anyway, i'm ranting, you know what i mean...:D
GL all!

Not entering, but I found one of the most striking and poignant phrases, to me at least, has been

'Hold your balls carefully'
yes, yes, you have 3 and a tail
stop bragging already

I do like proverbs, but sadly I'm no wizard with words. But in essence, I like this phrase which is a take from Nietzsche and Buddha:

A broken english version goes something like this "the sign of a despairing, weary soul is a man finding no joy in a life he has, but focusing on the things he foolishly thinks he wants".

I wish I'd have more time to read, philosophy in particular. It's almost as soothing as metal music :)

Thanks for the comp @bamberfishcake. A very nice one indeed

WTG Bambi least you had luck with it.

Maybe should have played them myself as deposited at VS once i got in last night and i lost it quick all on minimum bets. But thanks Nikantw and thanks Bamber for running another comp on here.

Anyway now less than 24 hours till my first wage since 20th December so heres hoping i get a win this weekend to pass on in here lol.

This was said to me a long time ago, it was simply explained as food for thought to consider the feelings of others and yourself, simple but pretty profound :)

Before you talk, listen.
Before you react, think.
Before you spend, earn.
Before you criticize, wait.
Before you pray, forgive.
Before you quit, try

Well done on the win and thanks for the comp young man.

Make a man a fire and he will be warm for the rest of the day.
Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

A dark twist on the "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"

This is not really a proverb, but i think it sums up politics pretty nice. =)

WTG Bamber on your winning sesh and thanks for the comp.

I once heard a saying (can't recall where) which seems to fit many different scenarios. Ironically it also fits well within the I-Gaming industry and the many foil hatters out there (yes, including me )

"Trust those who seek the truth but doubt those who claim to have found it!"

Good luck all :)

Confucius says Priest with Deli Belly who farts in church sits in his own pew
Reminded me of the Dalai joke.

What did the Dalai lama say to the hotdog vendor?

Make me one with everything.

The vendor does and says "That'll be $5.50" and the Lama hands him a $10. After a moment, the Lama is still standing there with his hand out, and asks "Where's my change?" To which the hot dog vendor says, "Change comes from within."

My grandmother used to say walk it off you will be ok after we fell from a bike or such. I fell trying to do a grind on my skate board and broke both collar bones. Of course she said walk it off you will be ok :eek2:.

Dear old granny would give us a spanking and then say...stop crying or i will give you something to cry about
I didn't understand because she already gave it to us.

Last one she would say( out of many )was to tell the dog that had to be 100 human years that he keeps bothering her she will bury him in the back yard. Poor Bo finally made it to the back yard. He died of old age . RIP Bo.

Thanks for the chance. Cont. gl.

Honestly liked all of these, every single one, not as easy as i thought to pick a winner.

Rena's granny reminds me of mine, Helena's is so often said and so undervalued. Kroffe i love the political analogy and Greylady called me a young man! All of them were brill though.

Thanks all! Im going to pick Ternur's as its the sort of thing i favour.

Congrats @ternur - pm so we can arrange.

way to go.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day,
give that man a computer and you will never hear from him again.

Payment received, thank you again @bamberfishcake

I will play later tonight or tomorrow and report on how I did.

I regret to inform that I was unable to double and therefore pass the prize on. Went to VS and busted out fairly fast. Then made another 3 deposits to Unibet trying to make something happen. It was not meant to be this time.

Sorry for breaking up the chain :( I'll run a comp of my own at a later date to compensate this ordeal.

Thanks again @bamberfishcake.

Missed this post. No need to thank, i just got lucky, Nikantw's comp really. Nice try and i hope you didnt depo 3 times because you felt some sort of pressure or weird obligation towards the remarkable community :)

Probably would've deposited that amount anyway. I love this thread, it really does show the best of this community. I'll be back.

Wait he only did 3 extra deposits?
Thats not very remarkable, not even raise-my-eyebrows worthy.

He did get a quick smile tho.

I want to see a zero after the 3 next time Ternur.
Atleast.

Good evening/day/morning ladies and gents,

I just had one of the most bizarre sessions in the last 1.5 hours. Every slot I played gave multiple times free spins within 100 spins. None paid huge but good enough, best was 312x bet. And these are all HV or even super HV slots, where you usually wait for 100s of spins to trigger anything.

They were Desperados Wild Megaways, Valetta Megaways, Black Gold Megaways, Mystical Santa Megaways, Temple Tumble Megaways, all played at EUR1 (I know, very low but I am a chicken these days.)

Best of the lot was Black Gold MW, 6 ways 6OAK oil baron and feature trigger in one spin. :D

To try and spread my good luck I will give away EUR25 to the member who posts the closest guess to this question:

How much did I wager at VS since 17th Jan 2020?

FYI, it is quite a bit. I just took a screenshot and will post it as evidence. :)

Usual rules apply, money is in Ecopayz, so that is the only way I can pay right now. Neteller, Skrill would have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday unless one of the esteemed CM members would jump in to help with a quick run-around! :)

Comp closes when I wake up in the morning, it is now 1:49 AM here. Good Luck!

Wow Harry good to read - about time you had a good session mate.

From what I read and experience, a session as you describe (AKA: pre 2015 session) is like finding Bonanzas 'D' and also hitting over 1,000x - IE: Rare as rocking horse shit!

Anyway, Itching for Some DoA so fingers crossed and I will try a guess at €60,000 wagered

Well done and of course cheers for the comp!

Congrats on the nice session, and cheers for the comp!

I think you have wagered €52350

You missed the t&c's. Clearly stated no bears allowed to enter.

Well done on having a great run Harry. This year has been crap for me not that i have spent anywhere near as much. Christmas , boys 25th and other boys 18th Birthday among other things have killed me. Can not wait till end of this month when i am back to having a good bit spare money. Need about 2300 xp points to qualify for battles

And thanks for running a comp. You have wagered 48,888 euros :D .Equivalent to years of my wagering there.
