That little "delay" that means you are screwed

When I play at gold club, I get it right about 98% of the time and my girl friend loves it when I yell "bust" when she is playing and I am watching.

Gold club should have there own thread. After hearing complaints, I decided to give it a try this month with very small bets. With large bets, busting out is expected more often. But I pretty much flat bet. I wanted a lot of small hands so I would have a fairly large sample size.

When loss rate (on wagers, not hands) exceeded my win rate by 10%. If you exclude pushes my win rate was 45% and my loss rate was 55%. These are all wagers including splits and doubles. Not definitive, but just another story to go with the others. Could just be bad variance.

Yes, I played at Goldclub almost every month until June. I think I won ($200 up) most of time and only lost ($30) once or twice(?) before I met the WR. I didn't feel any difference of changing the ownership. However, the BJ is striky there and I remember I was up to $350, down to $2, then up to $400, then up and down few times....

I didn't play since mid of June. So no idea what's up now...

At cryptologic casinos, the animation literally freezes for half a second with your bust card in mid-air just before it hits the table. Then you come out busting 99% of the time. The other 1% you will get 21 and I am not joking. This really happens!

I think that delay is because its loading up the .wav file that says 'bust' when the card hits. These others, at least the ones I'm talking about, are before the result hits. Once you see the card in the air, the game is already decided.

But on BM the dealer calls the total on your hand whether its bust (normal) or any other value so its gotta load some sort of file with every card? no?

I am sure you can switch off all sound effects and see if there is still a delay! If there is still one, then the delay is not because of the loading of the wav file.

I've been playing intercasino uk lately and under options on the main casino menu i have everything (play animations, play sound effects, play voices, full screen mode) unchecked, and I still see the delay.

Intercasino's delay is nothing more than a mixed problem of the bulky software and slow server.
BM's delay is but an indication that take down mode has been activated.

There is defenently a delay on BM software when you are gonna bust. I played casino 365 today and whenever a stiff hand had to be hit I watched intently. If a non bust card came out it shot out immediately. However if a ten value card was next there was a definate pause, say quarter to half a second or so.

Did win on 365 by the way (hood3000 v2.1 system ) but delay there most definately is

hi everyone,

i just wanted to add, that i've also noticed "the delay" and the losing streak that comes along with it. HOWEVER, if you flip your perspective and see it as a "good thing", then you can use it to your advantage..... i say, "connection delay, stop my play, start again another day".
anyway, it works for me.
