Hi Goldeyes, Robs usually a good ole boy, we just have a problem when a player puts up a link to a casino, it looks like shilling, im sure that wasnt your intentions at all, it might be best for you to delete the link before one of the mods see it, they get pretty testy over that including the main man himself

OK Goldeyes, I do hope that I am wrong about you but if you go back and read your first two posts that you made here since you just recently joined the forum, I think you will also see how they appear to look like you are shilling for those two sister casinos...especially since you never mentioned another Rival Casino name.

It is also usually the shills that include a live link to the casino that they are drooling over in their posts as well. Had you of only mentioned SupremePlay and not included the live link then it would not have looked to be made by a casino shill.

Don't really know where you thought I was being nasty and degrading though, just merely stating my opinion that I thought you were shilling for the casino based on what I read in your 1st and 2nd post that you made here. Just like you say you were stating your opinion about the two casinos...right?

Not that it matters, but I was instantly bonus banned when I signed up a few weeks ago.

As far as they don't have generic live chat, I would be able to tell instantly since I've talked to everyone that works it (Robert, Nicole, etc.). Very few Rivals have their own in house support.

If you are having great experiences there, more power to you...

You know, it really sucks that we have all become so cynical lately (myself included). Remember the days when we were all having a lot more fun?? I sure do. Unfortunately a big dark cloud has descended over online gaming in general, and I don't know if it will ever be the same. Seems noone is enjoying the game anymore, noone wins anymore, and we just need to vent about it. At this rate we will all be banned as frustration leads to flaming. Sure would hate to log in here and find that there are no threads as we've all been banned for negative attitudes. I hope the industry as a whole will come to realize that low RTPs only create animosity and a pissed off customer base. Greed may be good (like the movie says), but it also tends to ruin your business. Casinos don't need to be greedy as the built in house edge will make them sucessful without alienating players. Here's to the good old days, and may they come back around!!

I dont know whether you have any affiliation with any casino but honestly I believe you were spamming in your first post in this thread. It certainly looked like that to me and I am entitled to my own opinion.

CM members have been bombarded with cloaked shills, casino fraud players and bottom barrel low life's for years, all trying to get one over on CM members. Reputable casino affiliates gain a 6'th sense to whom is legit and so do some of the longer standing CM members too.

I'm also going for the later on this one. The OP didn't come across as just your average Joe casino player.

It's got to the point where if anything looks suss, it's shoot first ask questions later.

Too many of us are sometimes too quick to call "shill" just be because someone posts something positive about a casino for a change (and I am including myself in "us" )

KK has Reputation Power of 154 so can give/take 154 Rep points + the OP would have had 10 Rep points to begin with = 164 total. And yes, senior members have __serious__ clout in this regard, which is one of many reasons why it's so important that the Reputation system not be abused.

As to the OP I think we should all take a deep breath and stand back a bit. I respectfully suggest that our points regarding the is/isn't a shill business have been made and there's nothing to be gained by harping on about it.

The bottom line with goldeyes, as with us all, is that as far as the forums go we are what we post. Time will tell, so for now let's be cool and let it ride.

The thing is, there has always been players who will go from forum to forum making postings about how great XYZ casino is, in hopes of the casino giving them free chips for doing it, and most of the time the casino will slide them a little freebie. This has been going on since casinos and casino forums have been online.

It's no secret that casinos benefit from this type of publicity. I'm not saying that is what 'goldeyes' was doing but it seemed suspicious when I had previously seen a couple of her very similar posts over at the LCB forum as you can see in the screenshots below....

Nope, strike that. A "Thanks" gives 5 Rep points. A "Nominated Post" gives 20. Doing the scales gives or takes the full Rep Power of the person doing the giving/taking.

You can take Rep away via the scales by doing the "I disapprove" thing ... but watch yourself 'cause if you abuse it you'll find yourself without access to the scales feature. Bryan and now I monitor the Rep gives and takes to watch out for this kind of thing.

As far as I know a "Thanks" is the same as a giving Rep via the scales.

You can take Rep away via the scales by doing the "I disapprove" thing ... but watch yourself 'cause if you abuse it you'll find yourself without access to the scales feature. Bryan and now I monitor the Rep gives and takes to watch out for this kind of thing.

i checked that, nd saw me being thanked by kasinoking recently, certainly didnt add 150+ points to my rep
so i can safely say the scales and the thank you button arent the same.

Yup, quite right. I corrected my post while you were posting yours. Mine now reads:

A "Thanks" gives 5 Rep points. A "Nominated Post" gives 20. Doing the scales gives or takes the full Rep Power of the person doing the giving/taking.

Nope, strike that. A "Thanks" gives 5 Rep points. A "Nominated Post" gives 20. Doing the scales gives or takes the full Rep Power of the person doing the giving/taking.

The thing is, there has always been players who will go from forum to forum making postings about how great XYZ casino is, in hopes of the casino giving them free chips for doing it, and most of the time the casino will slide them a little freebie. This has been going on since casinos and casino forums have been online...

I've never heard of this. So the poster contacts the casino and says they put in a good word for them? And they get free chips?

Man I felt somewhat pitiful for asking for a B-Day chip at INetBet...

LJ, you know me better than that, no?

I was listing the highest Rep Power folks I know, higher even than KK, and they all happened to be those guys. Hence "guys", even though I tend to use "you guys" to mean people collectively in a gender non-specific way.

AFAIK the gals with the highest Rep Power are Pina (Rep Power = 148) and yourself (152).
