    I mean, the rep cant even spell or use English properly:

    Bryan - please consider placing Rival Casinos that use this 5th-rate CS in the not recommended list until they hire their own CS staff. Maybe then we can sort the wheat from the chaff by finding out who is prepared to do it i.e. those that actually care about their customers.

    Just fyi, it seems that indeed the policy has changed, no more comps on freebies at VRC.
    Sucks, now I cannot see how much playthrough I've made.:mad:
    Made many deposits there, and always got comps on both deposits and free chips.
    Not that I care much as a lowroller for those few dollars, but it was very useful as a playthrough indicator.

    Unlike most Rival casinos, you dont earn double on comps for slot play at VR. I have hardly cashed out on any of their freebies though on occasions after racking up some comps try to play some table games and cash out hte minimum of $25.

    Frankly, I have lost far more than what I withdraw at VR. If they are so stingy as to not comp any freebie play I doubt whether I will deposit any more. This is not the way to treat regular customers. Before even implementing a 48-hour cashout policy you are slapping this on us.

    CM is practically filled to the brim with Rival threads of peeps b!tching about these white label crap casinos, but still people deposit, get shafted and return to posting more threads about how crap Rival white labels are.

    Here's a thought...get a pencil and blind fold, visit the not recommended list, put on your blind fold and go whirly whirly with your pencil.

    I took this from a 100% deposit bonus at Da Vincis Gold:

    * No comp points are awarded for play during this promotion

    At their web page they clearly say this:

    At DaVinci's Gold we offer you comp points every time you wager.
    These points can be turned into cold hard cash!

    This means that promotions change faster than they know themselves.
    Is there any central system that helps them with these things too?

    I have to admit that the promotion offer with the mentioned bonus rule was NOT bad in other ways.

    I can understand that casinos dont want to give away comp points at free chips or really huge bonuses(over 500%) when you actually use "play money" to achieve points. But this wasnt that kind of promotion.:rolleyes:

    I think it really is time for CM to give these places a wake up call to protect the members from all this stuff....but sometimes you wonder if the warnings fall on deaf ears.

    Case in point - member posted the other day that after 4-5 days they hadnt been paid, so emailed and was told they have to provide docs (what a crock..after 4 days??? sheesh) and that they would have to be reviewed and it would take another 4-5 business days. Now, quite rightly the member complained and got the rep involved, who then informed the member the delay would only be a few days - so, 7+ days in all. The member now says they are happy they wont have to wait the extra 5 days and they will certainly 'be back again to play'. WTF??? Why arent they saying 'Well thanks for taking a week to pay me my money - seeya!!"??

    Re: comps. I dont have an issue with not getting comps on freebies, but I do have an issue with suddenly invoking the rule without emailing players - a little like the Inetbet max bet on freebies issue. I mean, they dont mind emailing about every other thing so why not something that players actually need to know???

    Dave and Nifty I couldn't agree more! Why do people even play at these rival casinos is beyond me. I don't have one single rival installed on my computer. For the varies reason you both described. I don't know if he still does support with rival. But there's this one guy named Thomas. He seems to be doing support for every rival casino I visited. This guy is really a pain in the neck. Time and Time again I have deposited. Spin $1 per spin and maybe get $1.50 on 4 symbols. I have went 50+ spins and maybe win 4 or 5 times out of 50 spins for a total return of $7.

    Another casino I refuse to play also is Inetbet. They also have this guy name Alan that seems to have a smart mouth at times. Sometimes my email would go unanswered for hrs or days. They "WILL NOT" get live support or phone. They do allow cashable bonuses, but the are rather small. And don't allow table play. There are many other casinos that does allow table play. Plus the bonus is alot bigger than $50. Just IMHO!

    i'm new here and was just going through the forums and i just wanted to say as far as rivals go that I play at 21 grand weekly I know they do not use the generic cs that all others seem to use.They have there own support staff that i have always found to be friendly and helpful.I personally love the rival games thankfully I found what i feel is an incredible casino in 21 grand. They are also willing to help there customers in anyway they can. Well thanks for this wonderful forum for all of us to be able to share are experiences.

    Why do I keep playing at Rival?
    Good question, I lost count of the times I've asked myself this very question.

    Most important reason, because I love their games. The old ones, not the crap they have been releasing lately.
    And because of the software runs so great, its fast and a pleasure to play.

    If Microgaming had not screwed up so bad with their software, I would have kicked Rival to the curb by now, but after a few hours of playing MG I get soooo tired of these slow spinning reels, having to restart the casino every 200 spins just to keep things running at an acceptable level, its so DAMN FRUSTRATING!!
    Not to mention the headache it causes after a while, and the fact that more than half of my once favourite games are so sluggish and slow they became unplayable.

    I never liked Playtech and I'm sure I never will, so thats not an option, I gave up on RTG, just cannot ever win there, hitting anything over 100x my bet just seems to be next to impossible.

    Exept from the ridiculous bonusbans and insane WR for players from my country I haven't yet experienced any major problems with Rival, I only play at a handful now, Sloto, Vegas Regal and Ruby Royal are the only ones left, as Box24 also banned me from promos after 6 deposits and no cashout (?).

    I now have a 200.- cashout pending from VRC since yesterdaymorning, so we'll see how long it takes, until now they always paid me in 72 hours max.

    But after reading all the complaints about stalling here, and no more comp points even on depositpromos, I admit that I'm scratching the back of my head..
    If they don't improve and become more playerfriendly my Rival days are over.
    So its a good thing ppl post about it, or we would not know, or think its just an incident.

    Btw, nowhere on CM is stated that a member is forced to read each and every thread posted as far as I know..:confused:

The guy was a horseplayer, and the "systems" he came up with for picking em was hilarious. He'd ask everyone at the track who they liked, and then he'd scratch that horse from the race. Whatever was left was the one he'd bet on. :laugh:

    Sorry for the derail....good post Dave. I ask myself those same questions every day. And why so many webmasters continue to promote ALL of them. At least try and pick the one or two that are decent (ie. NOT white labels) and promote those ones exclusively. Every time a new one opens (about every couple of weeks), they rush to get up a banner to add to the 25or 30 already there. I'd just like to see them be a bit more discerning, and at least find out if they are a white label or an independent before rushing to promote them.

    I'm sorry for the below average performance of that particular CS rep. It is true, we no longer give comp points on free chips. We feel this is a fair decision that will allow us to provide ever better service and promotions to our customers.

    Dave, your post basically says we 'shaft' players and that we are on the non-recommended list. With all due respect, neither is true.

    We pay all our players, on time, almost every time. We are responsive to what people have to say. We give good promotions. We treat players fairly.

    Our payout time maybe something you don't like, but we are honest about it. And if 5 business days is too much, I can totally understand. In fact, we are going to change this; I'm sure you will hear about it when we do.

    While I do understand players do get frustrated, and many times with reason such as the case with this particular CS rep, I'm not sure it is fair to basically say we are rogues. We are not. You won't find a single case of a player 'getting shafted' from our casino; hence the reason we are not on the not recommended list (sorry for the double negative).

    Nor me, but since I cant play MG download casinos anymore I went back to try the new Playtech games last year and havent looked back. In particular Great Blue is now right up there with Tstruck as my favourite slot and Gladiator, Sparta (plus Hulk and Ironman at Bet365) are just fantastic.

    They really have moved on - in fact, I'd go as far as saying it's my favourite suite of games now and I NEVER thought I'd say that about Playtech slots LOL. The problem is finding a good PT casino - one that pays you promptly and doesn't constantly hassle you when you log in, but Bet365 and to a lesser degree Tote and SEGA, there are good options there too.

    This is NOT the case.

    Comp point removal will make VERY little difference, since the rates are so small, however THIS comment is VERY telling:-

    This is a considerable REDUCTION in the level of service players are getting. Don't say "ask support", as we all know how INCREDIBLY INCOMPETENT they are, and players CANNOT trust they will get the correct answer. Worse, they could be messed around over WR, and have no way of telling any longer. It doesn't necessarily mean players ARE getting shafted, but by removing the facility to "self monitor" you make players suspicious that there is a hidden agenda. Maybe the casino does not WANT players to be able to self monitor playthrough, and the freeze of comps on bonuses came about BECAUSE Rival cottoned on to the fact that players were using comp accumulation as a proxy for a playthrough meter, that is NOT offered in the software.

    To allay these suspicions, Rival MUST introduce a playthrough meter now that casinos are no longer offering comps on some promotions, otherwise players will think that there was intent to prevent self monitoring of playthrough, rather than the meagre savings on comps being a realistic amount that would lead to an improvement in other offerings.

    You also have the problem that players will now be LOOKING for said improvements, and IF they are not forthcoming, there will be discontent in the ranks.

    Some rogue RTG casinos have DELIBERATELY butchered the cashier to prevent the playthrough counter from working, and since this is a KNOWN feature of the software, the intent could not be CLEARER. As players, we KNOW for a FACT that there are casinos that DELIBERATELY try to prevent players from monitoring playthrough, and in the case of RTG, the ability to monitor exposed a SHOCKING error in the RTG "back end" that caused playthrough to be more than DOUBLE what it SHOULD have been. These players often got a load of BS from CS who insisted the playthrough was correct, and without the meter, there would have been a "mass shafting" of RTG players that could have gone on for YEARS, with players never being able to DEMONSTRATE that there really was an error.

    Trust is at a low among players because of incidents like this, and operators should do NOTHING that lessens the trust further, such as removing a means that players are using to monitor playthrough.

    I was PERSONALLY shafted by Crystal Palace because of tampering with the Playthrough meter on their part. It was a FREE CHIP though. The meter WAS accumulating, but FASTER than it was supposed to, so they confiscated my proceeds because the meter said I had exceeded WR, but I had not really. This is, of course, a ROGUE operation, and they NEVER received a deposit once I found out.

    One of the newer ones, Moonlight Mystery, is great. The free spins with expanding wilds can really hit well.

    There are several Microgaming casinos who still uses the old software. One of them is Platinum Play. :)

    I have almost been used to the new software now. I often record my screen(Yes, I look for patterns :D ) and my pc cant record the new MG software without beeing too slow..:(

    They were quick last week and they didnt ask for docs.:thumbsup:

    I made a withdrawal at DVG 2 hours ago(my first there), I sent them an email and told them that if the withdrawal is fast and goes smooth I will write it here.:D I hope that the trick will work..I will tell you.

    I asked support at Rival how much I have wagered today. Two different support guys answered how much there are left instead of answering my question. One simble question..:rolleyes:
