Turn right, then right. then right again
Hey Gang

The past few weeks I have been receiving the following email from all 3 Rushmore Group Casinos:

Dear XXXXX

You have been chosen yet again for our promotion for the next 24 hours. We are offering 300% match up to $2000 on your next deposit within the next 24 hours. I have added the bonus into your account and is awaiting a deposit. The same terms and conditions apply to this bonus: Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Bingo and Pai- Gow Poker are excluded games on all bonuses we offer. If you have any questions on the matter or about the casino then please do not hesitate to be intouch.

Kind regards
Martina

Now I have to tell you that these kind of promo emails really p*ss me off!!

Another thing is that the subject was "[ #FLU-26415-104]: bonus " making it look like a reply to a support case which Im sure was a deliberate ploy to make me open it....and they can't even spell 'Customer'.!! lol

IMO it is a desperate attempt to attract deposits and it certainly supports Bryans' decision to remove them from the Accred list.

I think online gaming as we know it can't sustain itself in the present economy. I'll bet by this time next year there are maybe 1 or 2, if any accredited RTG casinos left. They've run off too many customers at a time when they can least afford it. BTW, I completely missed Bryan removing them from the list. I thought he did, then they were put back once affiliate payment issues were resolved. When did he take them off again?

He removed them about a month or so ago Takethemoney. It was due to their botched fraud investigation that took place about a year and a half ago. Very long story. You can read the synopsis in this thread:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...er-blog-its-new-improved-old-fashioned.28975/

The recent posts re: Rushmore start at #154, but throughout the thread the actual investigation itself was detailed, via the PAB system and Max. However, as it turns out there was at least one innocent player caught in the net, who was finally paid a month ago...after a VERY long battle, and alot of people involved. A big part of the problem was Rushmore's complete unwillingness to disclose or communicate with anyone the details surrounding this case.

There is also a thread in the same forum titled Rushmore Removed from Accredited List, started by Bryan, with his thoughts there.

Which brings me to Nifty's post. IMO (and this is speculation), part of the reason that Rushmore ended up immersed in that whole fraud investigation, is the fact that they offered ridiculous BJ bonuses (up to 400% I believe), and of course they probably got slammed by every advantage player on the net. When you offer bonuses like that, of course you are going to have some massive winners, and also some fraudulent players, looking to take advantage more than once.

I think the amount of winners they had was probably overwhelming, and if they are going down the same route again, I predict similar problems ie players being investigated, accusations of multiple accounts, genuine fraud, groups of players playing and posting about the bonus on the bonus whoring forums, etc. Could be more headaches in store. Will be interesting to see if any new complaints pop up in the next couple of weeks or so. I hope I'm wrong.

I was just in the mood to stress the CS....this group is going straight down in the "no wants to play there" pit.

Before I deposited - I asked the CS about the withdrawal time. After that information - I got an "take it or leave it" answer. Sure, she meant it funny, but that joke was brought on the table at the wrong time.

And then at the end - why do they need my PASSWORD information for a "delete my account" ?? By the way, I feel a bit "uaaagh" when my information is visible for the techis there!!!!

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Hollie'
Hollie: Hi and welcome. How can I help you?
El_quapo: Ho Hollie
El_quapo: What is the standard payout time?
El_quapo: ops...I meant HI
Hollie: what do you mean? The withdraw period?
El_quapo: yes
Hollie: =)
Hollie: it takes 2-3 business days to approve the withdraw
El_quapo: 2.3 business days???
Hollie: and then it can take about another 4-5 business days for the monyey to arrive into your moneybookers account
Hollie: business means not including the weekends
El_quapo: you mean after "you" clicked on pay - it takes 4-5 days until it is visible in my moneybooker account?
El_quapo: hello?
Hollie: when you request the withdraw it can take 2-3 business days to approve
El_quapo: ok, it takes 2-3 for your financial dep to approve it
El_quapo: got that
El_quapo: and then....??
Hollie: once it is approved it can take another 4-5 business days for the money to arrive into your monaybookers account
Hollie: yeah
El_quapo: aha but when it is approved why does it takes 4-5 days to arrive in my account?
Hollie: its just how long the process can take for the money to be put from our processor to the moneybookers
El_quapo: ok - it takes max 8 business days to get my money. if i withdrawal on monday, the i will get my money wednesday the next week
Hollie: give or take =)
El_quapo: under this cirumstances - please DELETE all of my data and CLOSE with immediate affect my accounts ät the whole rushmore group. and that "give or take" is neither funny nor something else. i will post this chat in the casinomeisterforum. that should be a warning for everyone
Hollie: i only wrote that cause it can take less time as well
Hollie: some people get their money within 2 days after the withdraw request has been approved
Hollie: i didnt mean to upset you in any way
Hollie: im sorry if it came out that way
Hollie: i can assure you you will receive your deposit
El_quapo: please close my accounts - that is all i want
Hollie: To close your account, you will need to send an email to support@cherryredcasino.com. Please include your casino login name and the first and last letter/number of your casino password , and we'll close your account as soon as possible.
El_quapo: you can see my password in clearletters?
Hollie: no i dont have access to your password
El_quapo: and why do you need the letters?
Hollie: a player needs to personally email in to say that they want to close their account
Hollie: then it will be done for you if that is what you widh
El_quapo: what about the password?
Hollie: what about that password?
El_quapo: ...casino login name and the first and last letter/number of your casino password , and we'll clos
Hollie: yes if you can email that information to that email address then we will be able to close your account
Hollie: send an email to support@cherryredcasino.com. Please include your casino login name and the first and last letter/number of your casino password , and we'll close your account as soon as possible.
El_quapo: I asked you why do you need my password-information???
El_quapo: and further more
El_quapo: is my password stored NOT encrypted?
Hollie: we need to know that it is the player that is requesting for their account to be closed and so thats why that information is asked, its information that only you know
Hollie: so we can know that you are the one requesting the account to be closed
El_quapo: that makes sense, BUT only if YOU can prove it.
El_quapo: IF you can prove it - why the heck is my password in clearletters and not encrypted?
El_quapo: that is absolute no security standard
El_quapo: Hollie- I know that you aren`t making the rules
El_quapo: but this chat, respectively this conversation is opening some eyes to the once "accredited" casino group and personal a big disappointment

I think you just misunderstood the phrase 'give or take', as far as I understand it means that withdrawals can take a few days more or less than what was stated, nothing at all like how you interpreted it.

It's also not realistic to expect any casino to delete your data, if they did that would be open to abuse from advantage players claiming the signup bonus over and over.

The password thing is a bit worrying but I guess in theory they could have some application that just confirms the first and last letter of the password just like it confirms your password when you login yourself?

aha...ok maybe it was just my bad english. But thanks for the correction.
Sure, they won`t delete my data, but it was worth a try.

About the password. IF there is a tool to confirm the first and last letter - why not the whole passphrase? I expected a I cannot see your password - I set a new one. Or something like that.

Nevertheless, up to 8 business days for a payment....Oh my...where are the times when you wrote Louise for an instant withdrawal????:(

I have added the bonus into your account and is awaiting a deposit.

:what:

The real question here is: Can this "bonus" be removed at all? When in the world did they start claiming bonus coupons on your behalf? I have never seen such a thing at any casino, even a rogue. The only time you'll see such an automatic bonus is with some SUB's.

What if you had never gotten that email for whatever reason, made a deposit without claiming anything yourself, and started playing?

This is very roguish, imo.

While reading that email, I was expecting to see a "Deposit NOW, or else!!!!11" statement at the end. :D

Yeah this group stinks. I was put off and put off and put off constantly JUST to get my docs approved. Miraculously as soon as I busted out voila! Approval granted!! Like I am talking a couple of hours here, when a couple of hours earlier chat was saying it was going to be another 2 or 3 days.
And the strange thing is when I logged onto the casino that night it was ridiculously laggy and damned near unplayable. My only explanation is that they put me on a different server after I told them if I ever get my withdrawal I would never play there again because of the run around.

I think when they no longer like you they put you on the server with the gaff burned into the E-PROM of the RNG. ;)
Reel symbols represent numbers and certain numbers will no longer come up when there is a gaff. It's random other than that
little defect.

I do not understand what are you complaining about.

You should tell them "Thank you!".

Or, if you aren't interested, you can tell them "No, thank you."

I must say, complaints like these sound a little bit spoiled. "Wah wah I got a bonus!". And you are somehow DISsatisfied with such treatment? OK so the email title is odd, so what? That's hardly a big deal.

What's the next complaint going to be about? Somebody's gonna get a "Happy birthday" e-mail from them and complain that he felt old when he/she read it?

Krasa, I think the point being made here is that if Nifty deposited and started playing without seeing that email first the casino would have essentially tied him to wagering requirements he had no interest in. Which to me is equivalent to theft.

Nifty noticed, how many others didn't before it was too late?

@winbig and takethemoney.

Totally what it felt like, especially that old box. Had to be something like that. I never in my life had a worse experience.

Now I played a couple weeks almost nonstop and you get a feel for how the games operate, lagging wasn't an issue once until I pushed them for approval and said I was done playing there once I got my withdrawal.

I didn't just get the email, I got the PHONECALL:D

After getting a birthday freebie, even though I hadn't played since the fraud investigation fiasco, I later tried $100 without a bonus. They had made considerable changes to the software, and this triggered a little "trap" I set for them last year:D I KNOW what they did, and it is a great deal more "major" than they would have us believe, and it affected EVERY SLOT GAME. It was effectively a "factory reset", and MAY indicate something major, such as a complete software rebuild, change of server, and DELETION OF ALL PAST PLAYER DATA. It may also indicate an alteration of RTP from what they had before, but this would be hard to prove. It may be 97.5% to 95%, which would not be as bad as the 95% to 91.5% "conspiracy theory" claim.

Now, all of a sudden, they are offering ME 300% bonuses UP TO $2000:eek:
The wording does not make it clear whether this $2000 is the maximum BONUS, or the maximum DEPOSIT that will get the bonus. I will assume therefore that it is the least generous of the two.

The bonus supposedly carries "normal" WR, yet I am one of those "evil" Neteller users that they kicked out of the bonus program last year. Surely, If I was too "evil" to be allowed 150% with Neteller last year, WHY can I now have 300% with Neteller, with the ONLY difference that I can see being the "software upgrade" since I last played.

Now, if this "chosen" few is really every damn player that has ever played, they must be desperate indeed, especially when they start phoning as well.

Standards have certainly dropped since last year, and Louise seems to have gone for good, yet removal from the accredited section does NOT mean that the rep has to leave the forum, and stop helping out. They do not seem interested at all in a return to the accredited section, and this might indicate a future where they decide to go on the PAB "no can do" list, leaving players with little redress other than the RTG CDS, which isn't best known for being unbiased.

Anyone familiar with the paydirt! slot?

It is just me, or does the "strike it lucky" feature appear about 500%+ more often than it used to? It's the lowest paying feature of the 3, and is somewhat similar to the t-rex feature with replacement wilds.

I played a couple sessions earlier this week, and during both sessions, I would say that particular feature came up 5 out of 6 times. This is odd, considering it would only rear its ugly head about 1 out of every 20 features, before.

I agree. Something has happened with RTG, and it's not for the good.

@vwm, lol I got the phone call too. I was wondering if you were up at this casino?

I'm just speculating that the selected individuals are players that are winners. I mean I don't think it's a bonus to reward my loyalty lol I've only deposited twice there.:p

Down $700. $600 for welcome bonus, and $100 to check snares:D

No doubt they are offering a bonus that could give me an initial balance that looks like I am ahead again, even though I would probably end up another $700 down in the end.

These bonuses seem to be a headless dash into the very same aggressive bonus policy that got them into the earlier trouble, and lead to the fraud investigation. If they are not being reckless, then something else has been changed that suddenly makes such bonus offers less risker to offer than before, even to us "evil" Neteller players.

This is a sign they are desparate for deposits and the software appears set accordingly, once you fall into the trap. As I've stated before, I would be damned surprised if there are only 2 max accredited RTG casinos by this time next year. I've felt something is fishy with the RTP for a long time and I really can't wait for the day when some disgruntled insider opens the whole can for all to see. At least I will get the peace in knowing that what I suspected was correct, before I go to my grave. My father taught me at a young age that when there is the scent of vermin there is usually vermin. In other words if you smell a rat the truth is there is usually a rat. ;)

Edward,

If you ever need to do a test to see if your password is stored in a way that can be retrieved, just click the forgotten password link and see what happens. If they send your password back to you then it's retrievable, if they don't send you your password and instead require you to create a new password, then it may not be retrievable (no way to tell.)

That doesn't mean they store your password in clear text though. They could be using an encryption scheme which allows them to store your password encrypted but allows them to decode it with a key. That way if a hacker were to be able to get the database of users and passwords, they would have to be able to locate the key as well. Though this would be little consolation if a hacker were to be able to go so far as to gain access to this information.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Now I have to tell you that these kind of promo emails really p*ss me off!!

If you wish to not receive these special offers via email or phone, please simply contact us and ask to be removed from the list.

IMO it is a desperate attempt to attract deposits

Business is as good as usual and all of our departments are constantly expanding. This is not a desperate attempt to attract deposits, but is rather called 'retention' which all casinos do in order to retain and bring back some old players that used to play with us.

why do they need my PASSWORD information for a "delete my account" ??

We need the first and last letter/number of your password in order to ensure the security for yourself and verify that it is you requesting to close your account. Anyone can know your basic details, but your password, should of course be something that only you will know, hence, why we ask for just the first and last letter/number as a security measure.

Hollie: and then it can take about another 4-5 business days for the monyey to arrive into your moneybookers account

Incorrect! Apologies for you receiving the wrong info on this. All of the customer service team, especially a few of the new members, have been spoken to about this and made sure that they understand exactly the time frames and how long the funds take to be received in e-wallets. E-wallet withdrawals are approved AND received within 4 business days.

Two things. First of all, the player is first of all called or emailed and offered the bonus. If the player says that they wish to receive the bonus or are not 100% sure, then the customer service rep adds the pending bonus which stays pending on the player's account for 24 hours. Only if the player comes to the casino and deposits within the 24 hour time frame will the bonus activate and the player can start playing straight away. If the player for whatever reason decides that they don't want the bonus, of course, it can be removed from their account. We are not forcing players to take bonuses. Second of all, bonuses are not being added to player accounts without being contacted.

I do not understand what are you complaining about.

You should tell them "Thank you!".

Or, if you aren't interested, you can tell them "No, thank you."

Thank you. Precisely.

Contrary to your wiseness it seems in knowing exactly who committed the fraud at our casinos and your various assumptions made which are incorrect, we are of course not stupid enough to offer bonuses to those players that raise the red flags of being fraudulent/bonus abusers etc etc.

I think that answers everything for now.

Kind regards,

Louise
