I have just finished my personal round up of 2007 - rather late mainly due to still playing December bonus WR's right up until the third week of January!

[shameless boast]
I always expected 2007 to be my 7th consecutive profitable year from playing online casinos of course, but I didn't expect it to be my best year ever!
I finished the year $8,427 up. However this was only so good due to 2 very significant months: In May I hit a $2,000 win from a $2.50 bet on Bejeweled, and in October I got 430 in scratch cards & won 600+ from playing the slot in Ladbrokes Osbourns promotion = another $2000+!
I only had 2 losing months in the year, but they were quite bad at $460 & $470 - I will try to cut out losses like that this year.
[/shameless boast]

So how did you do in 2007?
Please vote!

Cheers, KK.

Well king it sounds like you are one of the 2% of online gamblers who have the self-control to win. Sadly, I am one of the 98% who just get in the fast lane when winning and fire away. On at least six seperate occassions I turned $20-$100 into well over $2,500 only to have a nuclear explosion and watch it get blown away in a matter of minutes.

One could call me stupid and I would not really argue but then I look at my MBA from the Kellog school of Business (not the cereal) and realize the I am an action junkie. According to my excel spreadsheet 44% of the time I increased my initial deposit by five times or greater. But 87% of the time I ended up losing my winnings along with my deposit to go BUST. I guess I like the sense of closure I get from losing it all.:eek2:

Quick note: FWIW the losses should not be capped to 5000. I believe many players are able to easily lose more than ten times than amount.

not bad KK!

i've just had a quick look at my account. I've only played at 32red and only been playing there since July/August and i'm pleased to announce.....(drum roll please)...

i'm 688.80 UP :D

not bad as a newbie :)

I had to choose Don't want to talk about it as I didn't play last year. :( But 2008, if it continues in this vein, is going to go down in Mousey's history books as the worst year ever.

I realised last night that it makes no difference if i win or lose. I was up 400 at 32Red and just didn't feel any desire to cash out.

It's just the same routine - deposit and click spin until balance reaches 0  ...... sure I might hit a feature but that just means it will take a little longer to reach 0.

I have no idea why I keep playing

Boo. I made a poll of this in December :p

I made about $150 in the end. Which I'm quite proud of.

I did well with online poker last year. I managed to make a little bit of money and just enjoyed myself. Ha except for around November. I would have made a lot more but I quit smoking around that time and I should just have stayed away from the poker tables. Instead I got angry and just tilted a couple of days. Now however I am just glad that I quit smoking.

Last year I also tried to gamble in the casinos for the first time. I mostly tried free chips at the rogue casinos (it was before I knew of Casinomeister). I never actually won anything except at Scifi Casino where I was just incredibly lucky and walked away with $50 in the end. I deposited $10 back into Scifi and lost it quite quickly but I'm still impressed with them since it's the only casino where I've won something so far.

This year I will actually be less stingy and play some of my own cash. I still prefer online poker but will play at the casinos a bit this year just for the fun of it.

KasinoKing, did you mean for this Poll to also include Land based Casinos ?

If that's the case then the Win column is not high enough...:D

If's it's not the case then the Loss column is not high enough...:(

Well more than $10,000 profit should cover most people - but that only covers up to $ infinity so it might not be high enough for you... :p

As to the loss option, well the last choice is effectively $10,000 or more lost - but I thought it better to just say "I don't want to talk about it" - I was wrong, obviously. Sorry everyone!

And yes, I only meant online casinos.

Sorry KasinoKing, I didn't notice the plus sign + on the high win column, I think I did notice it though on the loss column...eg: reason for my question...thanks

I am just curious as to why KK has not been shown the bonusing door at all these profitable casinos:confused:

I find that after winning a certain amount, I lose all promotions from the casino in question, and only get offers from the ones I am down at. Surely, the careful and disciplined approach would lead to consistently winning long term pretty much everywhere, which should lead to a loss of bonuses.

This assumes, of course, that KK does not have some kind of "special relationship" with these casinos, nor has some kind of hold over them, such as "ban me - and I'll publish:p".
Maybe the casinos are worried they might get delisted from his website:D

As far as I know, Intercasino is the only place that will allow a constant win from the monthlies without eventually banning you.

land based are evil!

lost 700 ($1400) last time i went to the Empire Casino in London. OK had few too many so felt Invincible :yahoo:

Was playing $50 Roulette spins on number 4. Came close few times with a 5 and a 6!

Got into an arguement with the dealer when hitting a Zero, was pretty funny, as we dont have a Zero in our casino and the dealer wouldnt believe me!

''are you calling me a liar!?!''

Online pretty even as dont do too much casino, slotting around now though, wish me luck!

:axeman2:

dont drink and gamble!
