400 Group locked me out of Affiliate account!!!!! Hi, I'm so pissed with DVG, and jayden my contact, he agreed to sponsor my board and give me $150 in contest money to give a way to players, so I did a contest sent in my winners, then created another contest.

I sent god a crap load of emails thinking maybe it was my new email addy. I even PMED your contact here and no response, well I am so fit to be tied I just tryed logging in to my affilate account and they LOCKED me out!!!
with no reason no email nothing.

now... I gotta eat this $150 in contest money.... what do I tell my winning members??? I've stalled as long as I could... I'm so shocked they locked me out!!! I have done nothing wrong!!! I have never been treated so rudely, I am so upset right now I could scream!
can anyone Help???

I can try to help, please pm me your 400affiliates username and I will look into this along with tech support. thisisvegas casino does fall under the 400Affiliates umbrella however but each casino is separately managed. I apologize for the problems but send me a message and I will try to help.

Sorry to here about your troubles there livrfree247, definitely not a good way of conducting business...

John, Why is the DVG Rep not on here responding to this, is that normal policy over at the 400 Group to just lock out players and affiliates without even the courtesy of an email or some sort of explanation ? Does not sound to me to be upfront and forthright in Customer Service for the Affiliate or the Player..

John I have noticed that you do a lot of the responding here on the forum board but where are the other Reps of this group ?

I cannot speak on behalf of DVG but I am guessing they choose not to be present on these forums. I don't think this is normal policy but I honestly don't know what has happened other than what livrfree247 has posted so I am waiting for her pm and I have already sent in an urgent request for the tech department to send me any info which I am looking at any recent locked affiliate accounts.

I know Jason Wayne is present here, maybe not as much as I am but if anybody makes a request I usually inform him about it.

Well I for one Thank You John for your participation on this forum board, you seem to want to help and I think that it is really good when a Rep of a casino is out in the open like you are here and trying to help out the player and affiliate...Thanks

ahhh, trying to follow this thread and 3 others plus some pm's.

I don't mind and like this forum. I'll just point out that we are under no obligation to be here but it iss by choice and to be honest I think it is in our best interests to have a voice here. I do know Jason has double the work I do because he is managing 2 casinos.

Hi, I sent you a PM.. if jason cannot handle 2 Casino's then maybe he needs some help?:)

He can handle 2 casinos but I know him well and I have to stick up for him :) I just have more time on my hands ;) But truthfully I know if anyone needs anything from him he is quick to respond.

Got your pm so will try to help you out.

Thanks John, I don't mean that in a bad way, also he has never responded to one of my emails and I sent alot...also I sent him several MSN Instant messages.

Just a thumbs up to both John and Jason for helping me get my stats problems resolved.

@ livrfree247, I'm sure there's some sort of mix up in communications with Jason, he got back to me quicker than I could respond back to previous emails. :notworthy

I'm sure it will get worked out.

Hi, I was told there is nothing wrong with my account and was given a password from john which didn't work, and that was yesterday. so I hope this can be worked out, if not I will have to ask one of my other sponsors if they will help me out...what am I suppose to do? I gave out $150 of prize money, I don't have it to pay these players?

I'll show this thread to Jason and I guess he'll pm you if you had problems getting a hold of him but I know he answers emails almost daily and is very quick to respond.

Now I am looking at your affiliate account right now and there are no players referred and I see the last login was 5 minutes after you posted here. I only sent this password to you and it has been reset again.

I don't know what you mean by referred players, I posted all 4 casino banners and had 2 contests running with banners, but I think I'm going to suspend the contest I have running now, until someone sends me the funds

I checked your account and so did tech support showing that your account was never locked and the title of this thread is that your account was locked when it indeed wasn't.

livrfree247: please email me if you would like to solve this.

Perhaps livrfree247, you have been conned by some crafty rogue players. It seems you have run a contest, got a winner(s), but no referred players.

It may also be unwise in the future to run a contest UNTIL you have possession of the prize money from the sponsor, as it is your affiliate site, not the casino, that will get the brunt of the bad publicity for the problems you have in paying out the prize money.

As for the affiliate scheme, if an affiliate cannot log in with their usual ID and password, and has not been informed of any change, then their account is still "locked" as far as they are concerned. The same applies to any player in this situation. It makes no difference if the lack of access is due to an intentional lock by "security", or an admin cock-up (all too common in the industry), all the player or affiliate knows is that they can't get in.

If livrfree247 has a new Email, there may be an "admin cock-up" that has resulted in the change not being noted at the affiliate scheme's end, with all replies going to the old address.

As this event has prevented the timely payment of prize money to contest winners, this is not just an internal matter between affiliate and affiliate manager, there are unpaid contest winners who are PLAYERS, and they are going to be wanting an explanation of why they are not being paid. This forum is full of evidence to show that the patience of players has been stretched to breaking point by all the problems in the industry, and that only a day or two of payment delay is enough for players to start thinking along the lines of their money having been "confiscated" by the relevant casino.

livrfree247, you are not the only site to have been let down by the industry. The GoneGambling site has been let down many times since the passing of UIGEA, often as a result of broken promises by the casino groups who have agreed to sponsor some of the GoneGambling games.
It seems that money comes before honour in this industry, and that promises will be broken if the "bean counters" decide that the money figures do not add up to what they had hoped when making the promise.

If an affiliate is having problems with one of their chosen casino groups, it follows that referred players may also have a hard time, and again this will reflect badly on the affiliate site, as well as the casino.

Does sound that way! livrfree247 If the contest players did not sign up through your affiliate link "your referred customers" no reason for the casino to pay.

Hi, I understand what your saying USA but the money was for me to do as I wish, it was for both new and exsisting players.....I was NOT told it was for new sign ups only.

If that's what the agreement said Im assuming they meant your existing player accounts with the casino before the contest and any new player accounts created during the contest through your affiliate links. Just a thought!

I could be wrong! and maybe that's what you need to clearify with Jason, was it for your referred player accounts only. Usually contest cash is given out to benefit the affiliates and the casino alike, when players make deposits to enter the contest.

Then you have to take into consideration did you clairify this to your forum members when you ran the contest.

Good luck

he won't answer my emails, how am I suppose to clairify anything? with him

Well the title of the thread is misleading to start with and secondly we don't give cash to affiliates in that manner. We do work with affiliates if they want to setup contests and to provide the names of the winners where someone like myself would award the prizes to the players and never to the affiliates. As far as I know, I don't know of any affiliate manager who would agree to this and it was stated that money is awarded to players.

John

If the OP can confirm that the account was never actually locked I'd be happy to change the title of this thread to something more representative, and less inflammatory.

Hi john misleading??? if an affiliate can't access their account all of a sudden? what do you call it? I call it locked what do you think, I would make up such a silly thing. my account as of today at 5:35pm EST is still locked or "I can't log in" how can my players get credited when my affilate dosn't return my emails?? and today your support staff said he wasn't available.I sent my contest winners to jayden, to support, and to the manager@support without receiving any replies.

I hope to put this issue to a close soon since it is taking more of my time and others in tech department handling this than need be.

The account was never locked and I see this on my end and tech support confirmed this. Twice I have seen posts stating that livrfree247 couldn't login but I saw successful logins BEFORE each post was made where she stated she was still locked out and could not login. I asked what message was received when trying to login and it was an incorrect login message not a locked account message. I was able to login myself so there are definitely no problems there.

I don't really have much to say here as I have tried to help but this information does not match up to what I see on my end.

John

This sounds like a case of someone figuring out the username & password, and then logging in and changing it.

Livrfree - if you don't already, I highly recommend using lengthy random passwords. That's what I have gotten into the habit of doing for my more sensitive accounts. Some places don't accept long passwords, but try to use a combination of at least 16 characters with mixed numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters.

John - Perhaps you should reset her password to something temporary and email it to her.
