Hi, I'm new to Casinomeister and I just have to say; Internet-casino would get away with so much if you didn't exist.

    Anyways back to my case.

I was surfing around on Casinomeister and just browsing through the Accredited Casino list and saw redflushcasino.eu. Seems good I thought since they got a prize and is accredited. So I clicked my way into their site and I see a BIG ad:
Exclusive Offer available to all Casinomeister Players $/£/€10 no deposit required!

I thought to myself, really? What's the catch? Wagering x 100? Nah..all seemed fine. So I registered of course, Who says no to free easy wagered money? First thing I stump on is that I didn't get those 10 credits. I contact support and they have an excellent and welcoming attitude explaining that it should be credited within 12-24 hours, so far so good I can wait I thought to myself. Day after, I logged in just to check if those credits are in my account and yes indeed they are! 10 Credits. 10 Credits of SEK! I just stared at it, really not knowing if this was a joke or not, so I contacted customer support and tried explaining the big ad giving 10 euro or sterling pund or dollar. This is what they reply: You get 10 credits in the currency you registered.

So I tried explaining: 10 SEK = 1.14 ~ ish EURO. All they could do was tell me no you got 10 SEK that's it and now the funny part is that their tone was completely different from the time they welcomed me with their warm greetings..Their excuses was like usual, it's in the terms! Orly? I read your terms. Let me get it out for you and I did ( PRINTS ARE INCLUDED)

Eligible players claiming this offer will be credited with a No Deposit Bonus of $/£/€ 10 upon registering their preferred deposit option.

Even when I showed them and linked they still refused.

So my question is; How can Casinomeister vouch for redflushcasino? Apparently they are a bunch of misleading and fishy advertisers with no interest in giving a player what they offer. Other sites with same ads atl east gives me the amount in SEK (After conversion ofc). But redflushcasino not only didn't follow their own terms they just denied me.

It should be like it's stated - $/£/€. If not, it should be removed. I wouldn't want €1.14 either.

I'm contacting the rep on this.

Would it not have been more polite to one's host just to ask if someone could help etc?

The problem here is that this seems no different to what this group has been doing lately with bait and switch bonus tactics either with offers through email or snail mail, I would not have thought they would do it on a CM exclusive though.

The original post was perhaps on the rude side but it also raises an important point, Red Flush are using their accredited status as a badge of honour, and they ARE using the Casinomeister 'seal of quality' if you will to further their own commercial interests.

This group have been sub-standard for a while IMO, and this is the latest in a long line of dodgy adverts or, to put it another way, the outright lies that they use in pimping themselves out.

They are STILL sending out the total BS '£3000 in your account' promo emails under the La Vida banner, and have even got themselves reported to the ASA here in the OK over it.

I've lost count of the number of posts and threads we've seen about this group now.

Right, the fantastic and bizarre 'gambling tips' the 'Shane' adds to his otherwise polite e-mails are no doubt the same as the ones I posted a while back which Balthazar picked up on and ridiculed and indeed a thread was also started asking people to add their most ridiculous bits of 'advice' to as well.
I find this whole affair a strange contradiction, as I said before. The Red Flush group do have fast payouts for a MG download site and decent responsive CS, but seem intent on clouding all this with the 'batshit crazy' and downright misleading promos. We know this is coming straight from the RF group and not dodgy affiliate spamming, and as time has passed since Chopley's original thread re. Major Tom one does wonder why the issue still remains.

This is very common practice amongst MGS casinos. I don't know how many times I've deposited to various FL and VPL casinos to get a €100 SUB, but instead receive a 100SEK sub (about 1/9th the value).

It's always the same "You get x credits regardless of currency" and needless to say I always get into a fight with them since they don't seem to understand what's unfair about it. Usually they get it after I explain the difference between a €100 bonus and a 100 Peseta bonus :p

It's always been the case that the amount of any free chip or bonus is given as "account credits", but historically the values of the different currencies have not been so dramatically far apart as in the case of SEK. The advert does not state clearly that the chips are added in the currency of the account, the player is supposed to know this from experience, which is a problem when new players who are not just new to the casino, but new to the whole idea of online gambling, see such adverts and take them at face value.

The expansion of the industry from a niche hobby to a mainstream commercial endeavour has increased the number of new players, and has already produced problems for operators where what has become "standard industry practice" has fallen foul of regulatory bodies such as the ASA.

Online gambling has picked up a string of "don't run that again" rulings from the ASA, and the cumulative effect could end up being a major PR problem if anti gambling campaigners latch on to this and use it as part of their campaign to prove that the whole industry should be banned, not regulated.

Their marketing has gotten a bit sloppy lately, last week I got a mail that offered 100% up to 100% on my next deposit. And it said "Your account number is [my email address which it isn't]"

    Hi Everyone!

The issue was resolved by the representative on the board here! He contacted me in private and resolved the issue quickly and apologized for the inconvenience and added an extra 10 euro onto those 10 euro and explained it was an misunderstanding. Great guy!

Let's just hope this doesn't happen to other people. But I'll trust him when he says this was a one time error.

Thanks! What I'm concerned about now are these roulette strategy tips which are nothing but a bunch of nonsense. The roulette wheel doesn't remember what has been spun - unless of course it's not random. All roulette strategies are bollocks.

They should not be sending this sort of BS to anyone.

I'm sorry but huh?? The player is supposed to know because of industry standard? Your really going to use that as an argument. Try that in reverse and see where it gets you.

The email states dollars, pounds or euros. You're assuming (yet again) that it is SUPPOSED to be 10 account credits....when in fact it doesn't state that at all.

Hence, being credited the 10 kroner was more likely by error than by design....which I'd hope will be rectified ASAP.

I swear you must call the ASA whilst eating breakfast every morning. Not every issue is an ASA one....an ASS one perhaps....but not an ASA one. It would be an ASA "violation" if the operator deliberately stated USD/EUR/STG whilst deliberately giving 10 SEK or 10 NOK etc...as that would be misleading.

The fact that the rep apologised and fixed it without hassle, rather than saying "well it's actually 10 account credits but here's some extra as goodwill" tells me that it's a software/settings mix-up on their end rather than a deliberate attempt to stooge someone out of $8.86 or whatever.

The ASA has jurisdiction (in reality) over VERY few OC's, so I don't know why you're banging on about them all the time.

Not everything is a conspiracy to rip players off.....there is such a thing as a genuine error/oversight you know. Still, I guess that doesn't make good press does it.....

I'm sure its being done out of trying to be a good CS agent rather than as a way of teaching people skills or trying to BS people.

I will mail CS and ask them to try refrain from this.

In no way is it trying to be harmful or disrespectful to players

I am not the one using this as an argument, it's the argument CASINOS sometimes try on, and it doesn't do them much good when things go public.
