Because it was all _ UNDER THE RADAR - and had a lot to do with TIMING and Placement.

well i guess she thinks theres a click somewhere on this form as she stated the main group. you know weather ur friends or not weather you said something or you think you did,nt. someone got their feelings hurt and that would make most people feel bad. but this tread was started and now she got her feelings hurt even more. you know even my 4 year old knows to say i,m say i hurt your feelings even tho she did,nt do anything wrong but she still knows it not nice to hurt someone weather you meant to or not. i,ve had ww post on some of my treads and some of the things she said i did,nt agree with but i did,nt get nasty. you know some people don,t have thick skin and have a very hard life they come here to find friends and info on casinos. and maybe if they r lucky they make a few good ones. i know i have. so please step back away from the computer take a deep breath and know that this is not worth hurting someones feelings. be kind to everyone you meet you never know what kind of battle they r fighting. now shake hands and be nice.

I agree with the points that you've made, specifically with "performance art" and that doesn't quite translate online. I never tell anyone that they shouldn't swear, because I swear as well. I concur that it can be seen and taken as a stuck-up statement.



But the key points were 'humility','accountability' and having to 'resort' to foul language. Unlike at this site, I can think of a large number of websites out there, that let the foul language run wild. When the membership gets those kinds of no holds barred privileges, it can get pretty ugly pretty fast, specifically with the points that you made in mind.

Tell me about it! Some of you may remember my days at another gambling website and back in the day there our policy was anything short of gunshot wounds was fair game.

Bad idea! It's basically just a cheap and easy way to gain a vocal membership: quantity not quality, to say the least. In the end though it always gets you. Either the whole show goes down the toilet so badly that even the trolls get sick of it and move on, or you eventually decide to try and clean things up and find that your membership is now your enemy. Or both. Not good either way.

Ah well, live and learn. Of course I'm a kinder, gentler soul now and am devoted to my pansy garden.

Why am I thinking of Billy Martin and Earl Weaver??

I am member of two sports forums both involving the NFL. One is tightly moderated and on the verge of failure. The other is basically not moderated, very sucessful but makes the CM forum look like going to church. CM's moderation is somewhere in between, not perfect but better than the alternatives I have experienced.

I realize each post stands on it's own merit and it takes only one post to damage.

That said, blame me for my initial post that was arrogant, sarcastic, opininated and factual among other descriptions. There was also a sincere apology (thus the two smilies) for my arrogance in this same post plus an acknowledgement that I could understand how one could be confused by the categories of The Rogue Pit in defense of Wagerwitch's possible misunderstanding(s) and thereby my possible incorrect insinuations.

After my initial post, I am not sure how you (or anyone else) can single out anyone. It took more than one party on what at times simply was absurd, insane and granted much more. There were voices of reason during the chaos including BB's (but that is JMO).

The above said, just for giggles, I did count (+ or-) the number of hanging chads aka number of posts that occurred in the two threads by the main culprits after my initial post less than 24 hours ago. The only conclusion from below, imo , is the finger can be pointed at all et al.
