CocoaRob said:Hello all,
My name is Rob and I'm with the Technical Support team for the 400 Group casinos (Cocoa Casino and Paradise 8 among them).
As you can tell, Rival is the newest Casino software on the net, and we're working out some small kinks. CasinoForumu, your deposit has been cleared and I do apologize for the delay.
As for the googlemail address used, the operators have been informed that this needs to be updated. Unforunately, MoneyBookers is not available on the weekends for Merchant Services. Rest assured, it was meant only to be a temporary email while accounts were being set up.
Payments are processed within 2 business days. The cashout limit of 2K per day was taken as a standard for new users, regular players of course enjoy higher banking limits. The operators believe that this limit is reasonable and in line with other casinos.
I will be closely monitoring this forum for feedback and comments, however if you have any problems please contact the casino support staff directly.
Cheers,
Rob

CocoaRob said:Hello all,
First, the blackjack issue - this was a miss-configuration in the backend, one that, I might add, is in the player's favor. I've sent this to the operators to adjust the rules to match the felt.
As for the Baccarat. The issue here is that the hand totals are displayed before the animations are done (eg, the rest of the cards are drawn on the screen). The values were correct after the remaining cards were animated on the screen. This is a valid issue, albight a minor animation one. If the player puts the game on "fast" the animation is removed and the hand totals are immediately displayed for the game.
Thank you gfkostas, we appreciate the feedback.

So, I'll just *BUMP* this as a reminder for Rob.
jetset said:I don't see why not - these are all legitimate and straightforward business questions which any company that is on the level should have no problem answering. It certainly does not give any commercial secrets away or endanger business confidentiality.
Actually with the help of a few other curious industry observers we've already assembled quite a lot of information on these guys, which I am holding back for now in order to ensure that it checks out with their responses. We wouldn't want to publish inaccurate or speculative information.
It's now mid-morning on the Canadian east coast, and a normal business day following the Easter break but we have not yet received a response.
Ho hum....

How about telling us a little more about your operation?

I will forward those questions to the appropriate people and get back to you all ASAP.

How about telling us a little more about your operation?
1) What is the relationship between Rival (software) and 400 Group (operator?) Is there more than just a provider-operator link?
2) Why doesn't the 400 Group.net site come up?
3) Who is Black Chip Limited and what is the relationship between Black Chip, the 4 Rival-powered casinos, 400 Group and Rival?
4) Where are these companies situated? I note that you are in Canada?
5) The anonymous domain registrations and use of googlemail, could suggest a lack of transparency, and your livechat seems to be glitching somethat?
6) What is the parent company behind Rival Software? Is it a publicly listed entity?
7) Has the Rival software RNG been independently tested and if so by whom?
8) Are Paradise8, DaVincis Gold, This is Vegas and Cocoa all owned by one operator?
9) How long has the software been in development? Did you develop your own source code ie is this entirely proprietary software?
10) What future games and innovations are planned?
11) Why the limited choice of financial options?
12) Where is your customer Support situated?
13) Do you have a direct channel at Rival for clients with a problem they have been unable to resolve at casino level?
14) Do you have any business relationships with existing gambling software providers?
15) Who is the boss and who is on the management team at 400 Group and Rival? Al Maslovsky who I understand is the marketing manager does not respond to emails?
